I guess my question would be, why aren't the parks patrolled now?
Florissant is a defined community, with boundries, our police force travels within those boundries, and I would think, they drive by the entrace to every park we now have.
Why don't they pull in and patrol these parks now.
Why would they ignore them?
Why do these two people who are leaving for retirement, now bring up this undersight?
The Parks are part of Florissant, so why haven't they been patrolled?
No new parks, no expanded parks, most are highly visible, most have roads to travel through, most are very accessible.
So, why haven't they been patrolled?

Well, they do patrol alread, what I believe they mean is have a police presence actually stationed in the park at certain open times and after the parks are officially closed. As it is now the patrol officer on duty for that area does a drive thru when he or she is doing regular patrol duties. There are park rangers who are armed (or at least they used to be) and have the authority to take any trouble makers into custody until the police arrive.
The parks have always been patrolled but the rangers are the ones who get out of their vehicles and walk the park grounds and such things. What is being suggested is part-time officers be visable and actually walk through/around the park. Which they hope will act as a deterrant for those folks looking to created problems.

Sure am tired of blacks.

So move, no one is stopping you.
As far as insinuating blacks are causing the problems at the parks I suggest you learn about the subject rather then just stating your own bigoted opinon.
The skateboard course at Dunegant was removed because so many WHITE kids were hanging out there and getting into fights and just generally creating trouble.
I live on the street directly across from the park and have seen, first hand WHITE girls and boys using the pavillions for their personal "motel room". And throwing crap out the car windows, trashing the bathrooms, etc.
Yes there have been a couple of incidents with black young men on the basketball courts. Mainly because they didn't have resident cards and were not suppose to be there. Some idiot started a rumor about there being gangs up there shooting at each other (maybe you?). Those of us who live near the park know what goes on and we are sick of all you racist trouble makers spreading lies and BS!
You don't like the city, then get out. One less malcontent the rest of us won't have to deal with.

Oh, I get it, you're the multiple personality poster. I would think one of those personalities would be able to compose a literate comment. Maybe you can find one who can and just stick with that, let's hope so.
