Anyone else upset? They are making you upgrade to a higher more expensive package to get it. They said it was a "government" decision.

I'm not upset because I don't subscribe to U-Verse or any cable, dish, etc. company for TV viewing.

We used to have Charter then tried AT&T but quickly realized neither were worth the expense. Now we just have an outside antenna and still get 16 stations, sometimes more depending upon the weather/enviromental conditions.

I have heard that the major suppliers are all considering cutting several local stations, news and sports channels and/or requiring additional charges/upgrades for a customer to receive them.

No loss, there wasn't that much "News" to Fox News anyways.

Not a happy camper ... husband turned on TV and up came 'You are not subscribed to this channel'. Called and was told Fox News dropped from the plan I pay for. Told them I would be cancelling as soon as I could get TV and Internet/Telephone connection replaced ... they upgraded me to u200 for 12 months for $15 LESS per month (after keeping me on hold forever ... I even hung up once but they called me back). Told them fine ... no contract ... and I will be cancelling in 12 months. Will take my time finding best and most economical replacement ... looking at dropping land line and finding lowest cost TV and Internet connection. Been paying about $265 a month for U-Verse & AT&T Cell bills ... but not for much longer.

Could be a tatic from the socialist guy in the Whitehouse & his party whose so scared to loose their power now that they try to make it harder for true Americans getting the truth from the only news channel that tells it.

Get a life already! What is it with you people and always trying to blame everything on politics. Betcha wouldnt' have a problem it was a "good ol' white boy" in office.

Maybe you should spend more time learning the English language and less time moaning and groaning about politics. As in...tactic...White House...lose...and what 'run on sentence' means.

Yeah, though you're right the President and Congress have nothing better to do then sabotage a news program. DUH! DUH! and DUH!

God? If He were on a specific side he could have kept the channel on right? You wouldn't have a thing to worry about, except maybe your soul for believing everything the media force feeds you.

I have absolutely no sympathy for your loss of Fox "news" channel. However, I do feel that AT&T is the worst telecommunications company out there. I just canceled my services with them due to a terribly frustrating week of them disconnecting my internet for no reason, and then not being able to figure out how to get it restored. My advice to you is to give up on AT&T and switch to another company. I did, and I've been a very happy camper for the past couple of weeks.

I had called Charter and they gave me a cheaper rate for a 6 month "promo" only, then said it would go up (to same rate U-verse charges).

I found it inetersting that our ATT uverse cancelled FOX news just prior to the election debates. ATT uverse said that are cancelling certain channels to move customers from their 100 to 200 service and I was instructed that I needed to upgrate and pay $10 more dollars per month. No I do not because I am going to cancel my subscription. I asked the manager in the department why FOX news channel was cancelled and not CNN or other news channels. The manager said that CNN was fair and balanced while FOX was not. Something smells fishy! I have other choices besides att.uverse.

I wanted to tune in so I could laugh at FOX so-called " news " , but I see it's been taken off U-verse. Oh well, I'll just keep on enjoying the silliness via Jon Stewart! Thank goodness we can still get The Daily Show!

This administration said it was going after Foxnews. This is the only news station that will not bow down and kiss the winer and chief feet. While the libs are in office it will only get worse as time passes.

this is an old thread, but when i first got cable it was so i didn't have to watch commercials, now everything that's on is commercials.everything from cleaning your toilet to your prostate and even something to make your dick longer. what a joke and you pay for this crap too. same repeated shit day after day. i'm going with who ever has the cheapest deal as it's all not worth it.
