What happened to the Sonic on Lindbergh? Sign says closed and when I called nobody answered. Very sudden it seems since it appeared to be pretty busy last week.

The Sonic on West Florissant near Shoe Carnival is also closed. Seems like it was open just a week or two ago.

Must have been a quick decision. They still have the advertising out in the drive thru and everything. What a shame, lots of vacant buildings that cant really be used for anything other than a drive in food place.

I am trying to figure out the big red X my comment was judged with. Facts are sort of hard to deny. Drive by the place. The sign says "CLOSED", the drive through has signs advertising specials, the tables and chairs are still out, and the windows are still advertising specials. So, what exactly does NOT make that seem like a quick closing?

Crab, I drove by there early Tuesday morning and saw the CLOSED message on the marquee. I also noticed two white pickup trucks parked next to the East side of the building. I haven't seen anything in the St. Louis Business Journal regarding any Sonics closing. I'm guessing the franchisee went into default on a loan or something similar to what happened to Wendy's up the street on Lindbergh a few years ago. But it could be that with the difficulty getting into and out of the lot, they lost a lot of business. The increased Bus traffic on Lindbergh has Lindbergh snarled even in the middle of the day.

"Betty"? That "B" should obviously be a "P".

Dear Betty,
You have a fertile mind that is full of thoughts.
You seem to continually squeeze out one thought after another.
If we wait, surely your mind will pinch off another one of those fertile thoughts.

Why do you engage the fertility of her mind? Is this entertainment for you? You have no room to talk of pettiness.

A company called DL Rodgers bought those stores from under Sonic Resturaunts inc. The new company came in and fired every employee that had years of experience because of them making decent money and hired a bunch of new hires making minimum wage who knew nothing and ran the stores into the ground. Ive worked at both stores over the past 7 years.
