TS was elected with 37% of the vote, it was a multi person race, and he received the most, but, did not receive the majority of votes.

Second, the chief was forced to retire by TS, he was told he was too old, and ineffective, and asked to retire, to make room for a new chief.

Part of the pay off to former Mayor BL, was that TS got his endorsement and lots of his campaign money, if TS would make Timmy L his new chief. The same arrangement was made with North County Labor and DK, and his two Fagan nephews.

TS has been paying off in spades, with promotions, and pay raises to the choosen few, as he pays down his debt to the king makers.

Sad part, with English leaving for the House of Reps, this open spot on the council will be filled with a labor selection, giving TS more power and control.

Lowery happy, labor happy, TS happy, screw the people of florissant.

Who would you want to be police chief?
Obviously the majority wanted Schneider, he got elected and if you all didn't vote you have no say in what happens.
How many of you malcontents actually do anything to change things? Do you go to citizen's meetings? Do/did you campaign for someone you felt was better qualified as mayor? Of course not, all you do is moan and groan.
As far as the anon employee, what are you doing in Columbia? And if you do work for the city and dislike it so much I suggest you get another job that you do like.
People who just whine and do nothing to alleviate a situation are as bad as the people they are making accusations about.
Talk about a bitcher and complainer? You look in the mirror lately?

First they promote Timmy to Major, a position no one else ever held except for his big Bro. Now they have made him Assistant Chief, a position NO ONE has ever held. Way to go Florisaant. Still a dirty as ever.
Actually the Major list has been filled in the past. Warren Runge and Clarence Boedeker plus of course Bob Lowery Sr. wore the gold oak leaves in the past. Just saying.

Awww poor Karabas. Now he knows how we feel after being treated so unfairly. Only difference is he still gets his pension. He has two you know. I am sure he won't suffer like some of us have after having our lives shattered for NO REASON! I feel so sorry for him.(NOT)

The city gets what they VOTED . Lowery was voted into office knowing he was a drunk, and used partial politics to get what he wanted. Even as a Chief of Police he ruled the department at the will of the Mayor. No chief survives who goes against the political machine in any City. The only chief that can independently run the department is a Chief who is also elected bye people. Ie St. Ann
As far as Fagan goes he deserved a consideration of an Emmy award for his appearance on the news. Stop crying about the poor police department. Look what's going on around other departments, Hazelwood has an alcoholic for an acting chief, St. Louis City made their Chief bowing to the black population , not for the experience of more qualified officers, If you look at departments that are not controversial or in the news they are well ran and low key, not in your face.

Tim Lowery has lots of dirty little secrets and baggage. Going to be hard for him to keep it all contained. The truths will come out.

The only way for the truths to come out is that the city council will have to be informed. Either. Through anonymous information or by a civilian not employed by the PD that can put the doubt in the forefront. It doesn't have to be supported by truth, only subjective submission of a bad conduct or illegal activity. It may help to have a signature page by present officers without bearing names.

What can city council do? The mayor controls everything and council has no input or say. The deed is done. Just have to wonder if Schneider has finally paid everybody off yet?

You think that because you have given up and don't understand the power of many against a few.

Then please explain the last election where a labor backed candidate lost for judge. We're on to you control freaks. You will never hijack another election in this town again.

Yes, labor came up short on the judges race, but, labor wins more than they loose. the devils are already making deals to insure they will secure the English spot on the council come April 2013, making sure that they have control of the Florissant Council and can continue to pull all the puppet strings of mayor TS
Don't under estimate labor, they are corrupt and they are strong.

Scenario. Little Timmy lives on the St Chuck side of town, will he move back to FloMo? Not likely. Older bro lives in the D.C. area,he used to be the city mgr in O'Fallon. OK now. Old man knows where all the bodies are buried, and since he has his grubby mitts in all that is underhanded, watch for young Bobbie to return to the area in time to become the new chief of the newly created St Charles County police dept. Any bettors out there? Later.
