Gee, if Obama only figured out this plan LAST YEAR, we'd know if this is a REAL plan that generates REAL results --- Or if it is just another one of his 'smoke & mirror' PROMISES that amounts to just more rhetoric.

Trade wars.

As the Trends Journal puts it. Follow the time line.

1. Crash of 1929
2. The Great Depression
3. Currency Wars
4. Trade Wars
5. World War

1. Crash of 2008
2. The Great Depression/Recession
3. Currency Wars (going on presently, China Russia, France, and other countries want to dump the US Dollar as the reserve currency)
4. Trade Wars (starting up with China and both campaigns targeting unfair trade practices)
5. World War (actually, already started. Western countries are fighting in Africa, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Libya, Egypt, Syria. Civil uprisings all throught out the middle east, Spain is on the verge of a civil war and a breakup of the country, riots in Greece, mass protests in France, Japan Tawain and China over island dispute and tensions are rising)

Same O, same O.

This time it's mfg. jobs last time it was Green Energy jobs and how did that work out ?

Economic patriotism , that sounds vaguely similar to " Workers Unite " in the 1920s USSR.

What's he waiting for? Why hasn't he already implemented his so-caled plan?

He did.

If the GOP had passed his jobs bioll, and his Veterans' Job Corps bills, we would have had a return to prosperity.

But, for the GOP in congress, sabotage of the economy, and back-stabbing combat vererans, are acceptable to win the White House.

So it took the marxist king obamanation almost 4 years to come up with this new fuzzy plan to promote economic patriotism? Is the marxist king obamanation finally admitting that his past policies have utterly failed and he's now ready to bail out on these past failed policies?

the jobs bill was a horrible piece of legislation that rightly did not make it thru the senate. there are already 6 other programs in place for veterans jobs--the latest veterans bill, was proposed just before the election??? gee, would that not have been an idea to raise in obama's first year of office? i guess he was too busy on the albatross healthcare plan that 70% of americans were opposed to...

whoa, you're an angry elf!
the jobs bill was incredibly flawed, and would not have created jobs. that is why it did not pass. no political theater--that is what the prez is so good at. "those mean republicans won't work with me!" boo hoo. by the way, the quote that all the dems love to use by mitch mcconnell:

There is a problem with political mythology; ... it can be fuzzy with the facts. McConnell said those words from Kentucky over the phone during an interview with NationalJournal's Major Garrett in October 2010. The interview was about the upcoming 2010 midterm elections, which netted the GOP six Senate seats and 63 seats in the House.(two years after inauguration)

McConnell also said, "If (Obama is) willing to meet us halfway on some of the biggest issues, it's not inappropriate for us to do business with him." And: "I don't want the president to fail; I want him to change."

Don't forget they never read that bill. We are winging it as we go. The more the doctors lean about it the more upset they seem to be getting. Here we have a horrible economy and that is what is worked on 1st. What happen to all of the transparency?
