First before we can think he is a good guy or bad guy, for those of us who didnt read the story, we need to know the facts of the accusations. Unfortunately, we can not always truly know a person unless we live with them, and then sometimes we still may not know them.If a person is a narcissist they will show us many different faces. It is a sad fact that some turn out not to be at all who we think they are.

Very true, but when you know what kind of person the teacher that's accusing Mr. McDaniel is...the truth is kind of evident. I support Mr. McDaniel 200%!

Mr. McDaniel is a good man and principal. He would never do anything like the rumors I have hearing. He is the best principal that I have ever had. I totally support Mr. McDaniel 100%.

Scotty B. it seems there is still some secretiveness to this. Is there a gag order? We went to your link and from there we hear the same things, just that he is innocent. Your last post on my space where you sent us to, just says, YOU won't believe this! You are on line and I could talk to you but thats just a little too much. so thanks for the updates, I quess. In defense of a (true) victim, waiting two(2) years to make a statement, there could be very good reasons, humiliation, fear of retaliation, fear of disbelief, fear of feeling assaulted all over by the courts, etc. That is in no way in defense of the accusers because as you can see, we cannot find any information on the alegations.

so many people pass judgement on individuals they don't know. how many times has anyone in strong support ever been out to dinner with any of the people involved? have you ever spent a weekend together? Do you send greeting cards? do you share sad and happy moments together? if any of these are true then let's here them. no matter how thin or thick you cook a pancake there are always 2 sides. REMEMBER THAT.

It's like what the previous poster said: There are two sides. We are quick to judge sometimes because some individuals judge solely on the person's accomplishments, and place the individual on such a high pedestal, that they are without blemish. Nevertheless, we forget that they are only human and liable to make mistakes or unwise decisions. Whether or not the allegations are true, we do not know the motivation or the agenda of why one would make a serious accusation of that sort. In any case and from personal experience, personnel issues especially when grievances are involved cause uncomfortable tension among the staff. Sadly, some students are affected by it. The only thing HP, and parties involved could do is to move on, and continue weather the storm for the sake of the ones they are educating-the students.

Now, if Mr. McDaniel did something, then he wouldn't be working at Scott Branch right now, now would he? If he did something, it would be hard for him to find a job anywhere. A bunch of ya'll just don't like him because he didn't let you get away with stuff like any other prinicpal would.

As long his license is not revoked, he's safe and can work anywhere. There has been teachers and administratives who were accused and was found guilty that found jobs which doesn't make sense. I don't know who you referring to as "y'all" but so far I only read one posted message on this board that said something negative about the guy. But I will say this: Scott Branch will definitely prosper and elevate because they hired someone with good experience and survive whatever professional sabotage. Competent administrators are hard to find.

Amazing! This guy pulled all kinds of monkey business while in Pamplico, got fired, got a job in Scotts Branch, pulled a gun on his wife in front of his son, kept his job, and finally got fired after one or more DUI's. What a loser!!!!!!!!
