Just read the article on the high school. Send Brandt back to Cincinnati! They can have him back!

I'm sorry to say we have the same situation in Dayton. Our Supertendant makes more that the Campbell County Supertendant with a much smaller district and I might add lower scores in the testing.

Somebody voted this idiotic post as "helpful" and "interesting"?! Nope, nothing will EVER change in Newport. Your rants about salaries are wasted energy. Brandt will stay as long as he continues to want the job...watch. You might at least try to work with him. Beats crying on this forum everday. MMMwwwwaaahhhh!

I heard the board fired three of Brandts cronies, any confirmation on that? or that Janovic turned on Brandt and told him at a meeting that she wasn't letting him hire any more of his friends? I heard these things from several people. If true I applaud the board!!!!!!!!!!

Kelly Middleton will be at the next Westside Citizens Coalition meeting to discuss the Facility Plan and what will be changing with the schools in the future. The meeting is Tuesday, May 28th at 7 p.m. at New Hope Christian Center (941 Central Ave).

The repeated reorganization of the schools is nothing more than a distraction for the board. It hurts the students who have little stability in life to be bounced around constantly. Just teach the kids and stop screwing around

Smoooth move Middy. I see you read the archived minutes. Reconfigure and test scores disappear. And bud, you can fire all the principals and put in your friends. You have potential my friend.

Biggest problem in Newport is there is no consistency. The one constant is change, and it doesnÂ’t help the schools, parents and especially our kids.

Students shouldnt have to kerp changing schools at all. But i understand it is partially due to the LOW ENROLLMENT. No need for so many schools when you have empty chairs.
