Looking for anyone that works at this company or knows someone that worked there in the 1970's or thereabouts. I'm trying to locate an individual for genealogy purposes to no avail.

Thanks!

I could probably be of more help if you indicated which location of Equitable Bag this person might have worked at and if which area (manufacturing, management, etc..)

I've contacted the office and I was told when Duro bought Equitable, the personnel files, etc. had been sealed and stored, that they only purchased the building and machinery, not the employees.

I'm not aware of the different locations, I only know it's in Florence. I know the individual was in management, suit and tie guy, ha ha. I know he was in Florence for at least 1973-1984. I know in 1970 he was with the New York branch of Equitable Bag Company!

If anyone can help, please let me know!

my mom worked there in the 80's. I know that isn't what your looking for, Really no one should give you any information, ya know. It's a time where alot of people steal identities. So, i think if you were more specific, someone may be better to help you. I do know that Duro is now in Richwood KY. My bestest friend, mother died from cancer working at the Duro's that once was on Madison Ave in covington Ky in 1977....never smoked a day in her life.
