Stop blaming others for your responsibilities. It's not up to me or the schools to educate your children. If you can get on the internet there is no reason for you to be ignorant of the issues of addiction. Everyone makes a choice the first they use. Some drugs are addictive the first time you use it. But not all. Many are like alcohol. You like the effect so you continue to use it and become dependent. No one forces anyone to use a drug. It's a choice. You think I'm lacking education? You're way off. But I have taken enough psychology classes to understand addiction and personal responsibilities. A child that grows up without limits will have a difficult time time being able to say no to drugs and alcohol. A parent that is addicted should not be allowed to raise a child in a home where drug abuse happens. A parent who trades their welfare benefits for drugs needs to lose custody of the child. It's time for people to take responsibility for their choices and if they can't then they need to lose their children. If you have a better way to prevent the problems from being passed onto the next generation spit it out. Because parents who can't get it together have no business destroying the next generation.

and yet you miss the point again oh step ,o,,y of the year the human race in its entirety is addicted... and im not just talking about drugs or alcohol and im sorry but being addicted to something does not make you a bad person or mean your on state benefits... But every human being on this planet is addicted to something it is in our genes our phychie we are born that way and we die that way. Tv, god, sex, gambling, drugs, house keeping, working, bathing, eating, popping your knuckles, chocolate, ice cream the tiniest minutest specific thing to each individual person is an addiction of some kind. The only reason why specific things are looked down on is because society puts a negative image on them. Back in the day it was socially except able to use cocaine and heroin the government brought them into the country and they were an everyday part of peoples lives, they werent considered addicts then, just normal everyday people doing something normal and they raised there children wernt considered criminals and went about there everyday life, but those actions of the past have affected the way todays society reacts to pharmaceuticals or tv or god or alcohol or what evr the hell that individuals glitch is but its there in all of us...

the people who have these issues arnt bad people we paint that picture on them . most crime that is committed is not because of the drug its self its because of the position people who do the drug are put in, if we didnt make such and ugly controversial stigma involving this then we wouldnt have the problems we do, there wouldnt be as much shady backdoorsy behavior a lot of people wouldnt do it because where is the fun in doing something thats not frowned on. And where would be the issue if somethings could be done in better environments then the back allies of dark street corners, drugs have been around since the beginning of time and they are never going anywhere, but can we really look down on and treat people the way we do, and think that that is ok. you get treated worse if you do a drug than if you murder someone. cant get a job if you ever been to jail for drugs but they expect you to become a shining member of society when you get out, and do what exactly pull money out your ass and be grand no those options arnt available and im sorry but i just dont think its right for you or anyone else to say its a personal choice to do drugs. because we as a society as a culture and generation have made this world the way it is today, and now no one wants to take responsibility for the big picture. Someone like you with all your education and stature and what ever else you have uop your ass that makes you so much better than the girl down the road who grew up in a crap shoot situation and ended up on drugs for what ever reason the choice was made in her life to start and is now an addict... you are the reason this society is crap and the world is going to hell because instead of taking a stand and fixing our broke community and its ass backwards governmental choices you want to sit back and talk about how they are the dredge of society and dont deserve happiness of a child or a loving family or the opportunity to do the best they can in life cause maybe there best is not up to your standards. putting a drug addict in ail does not help them nor does it help us its a waist of money, time and man power. And if you cant understand that then there is no hope for this county or our future generations. And someday you will be judged as you have judged others, except unlike yours his opinion on what kind of person you are matters.

to tell someone something is bad is not enough. Dont do that its bad its against the law, your not old enough, its a sin, it could make you sick or kill you, you could become addicted (parent) videos on what the affects of drugs do while on them, stories from already lost youth, peer pressure from others in a society that puts such pressure on fitting in, how drugs are made, where to get them and how to use them (health class feshman yr high school)
Teenager with a not fully developed brain unable to completely process situations with consaquence yet:
what ever i wont get addicted they dont know what there talking about, i wont go to jail, man that guy said it was the most awesome feeling, all the popular kids are doing it and i want to fit in, im tired of being the outcast made fun of everyday i just want to die i feel better when i use drugs maybe i can make it that way, well i grew up in a really religiouse good family and was home schooled and they never taught me about these things being bad or safe sex im going to d this so i fit in, im not going to amount to anything whats it matter if i drink or smoke pot.... yeah its up to the parents but really they arnt educated enough to do it right most of the time... And once lost we dont do jack crap to actually help bring them back to a right place in life. the best teacher and preventer of future drug use is having those addicts that are such horrible people they dont deserve to live reach out to the youth because 99% of addict that i know and have spoke to dont want to be how they are and dont have much in ways of being able to change that now in there lives but would help others stay away. If i had the means to organize and or-castrate a program i would but what can i do i live in a society who just wants to sweep all there dirt under the rug and pretend it doesnt exist. they dont want to fix this issue because as things are now they are making a fortune off of having messed up ass people stuck in a loop with no way out but death or jail.

You are proving septembermom's point for her. Everything you say means we, society, need to do something about drug use but at the same time drug use is a choice and up to the individual We need to get those individuals exposed to the dangers of drugs out of those situations. Your argument is the typical argument of a drug user.

Actually my argument is the argument of a person who works with drug users to no avail....
