Say something that a republican does not like and they get all violent. Just more proof here. Go ahead and argue with me. That would prove my point even more!

Sorry folks but wearing a wig is NOT a disguise. Women wear wigs all the time. As for her being at the debate, if more people would attend them and hear what is said instead of listening to just sound bites it would be more realistic debate wouldn't it? To the jerk who stepped on her-you're not the kind of person anyone wants on their side. You did more harm to Rand's cause than the woman you stepped on did. And since when is it appropriate to wrestle a woman to the ground because you don't agree with her point of view? Yes, that shows good old republican values doesn't it?

Clearly this is undeniable proof that all republicans are in fact racist. Why else would the redneck immediately go for a "curb-stomp".
So a white dude steps on a white chicks head and its proof they are racists? Hmmm I didnt see anyone of color in that video either doing anything wrong or having wrongs done upon them. So how exactly was race involved in this instance?

Or are you 1 of those race baiting POS's that like to cry racism to try to make a point. I will tell you this, everytime an idiot uses that term improperly it only degrades the meaning further and futher.

I remember a whopping 10 years ago I would flinch at even the mention of being called a racist by someone because I dared to criticize the character of someone who happened to be black. Hell now I almost welcome the term being used against me because I know how few people really have any clue what that term means anymore.

I am reminded of the opening part of a certin speech from a while ago. Now remind you when people wrote back in this time the opening paragraph was the most important part and they took the most time and effort to search for the exact words to be used. Even this author has admitted he had so many drafts of his speech but he settled on the 1 most famously remembered as the "I have a dream speech".

"I have a dream that one day man will not be judged by the color of their skin but rather by the content of their character."

Even Martin Luther King knew it was ok to judge someone based on their character. Contrary to the lefts labeling of the "tea party", "Conservatives" or Republicans being called racist for questioning Obama's character or actions.

The true meaning of racism is to judge someone ONLY by their skin color, even if the simple minded want to try to change it to mean "to judge someone of color".

With all the negative and hateful propaganda and unprofesstional manner that Rand Paul and the republican party has dished out in the last few months, why would anyone be surprised at this behavior? Have we all forgotten that she had the same right to be there as the Rand Paul supportors? For those of you who don't know it is within her first amendment rights to protest or support or wear a wig to do so. I too watched the video and find the behavior of the men involved barbaric and uncivilized. How embarrassing for the state of KY that we have come to this. Also a word of advise for all you so called "tea partiers"....be very careful by thinking or ASSuming that Rand Paul is respresenting you. He will be Mitch McConnell's lap dog and will be an ineffective representative of this state. I would say that this is not the last contraversial thing that happens surrounding him!!! Now that I think of it....not the first either!!!
of course you meant Jack Conway, Mr. hateful was able to turn his back on his own religion to attack someone's else's for political gain.

First I hate all politics so I have no true side. I vote for the lesser of the two evils, but If she was from Mass. why was she worried about anyone recognizing her? Sounds like a similar stunt as the guy from Florida that got tased by campus police. "Don't tase me bro!"

It was an ugly scene outside the Rand Paul-Jack Conway debate in Kentucky last night, as a scuffle led to a female MoveOn.org representative getting tackled to the ground and having her head stomped on my an older male Rand Paul supporter.

The rep went to the hospital, the culprit hasn’t been caught and the Paul campaign has responded. This race is getting weirder by the day.

The woman, Lauren Valle, tried to give Paul a fake Employee of the Month award for an organization MoveOn created that connects the GOP and business. But her wig was pulled off, she was tackled, and one man stepped on her head.“These supporters are not very nice to me and my message,” said Valle.“I got my head stepped on, so I have a bit of a headache.”

TPM reports, as of last night,“Valle is in the hospital and [MoveOn] is awaiting word on her condition.”

Meanwhile, Huffington Post has comment from the Lexington Police spokesman, who says “they have not yet identified the man captured on video stomping the head of the MoveOn volunteer,” and it is a pending investigation.

Politico has this statement from the Rand Paul campaign:

We understand that there was an altercation outside of the debate between supporters of both sides and that is incredibly unfortunate. Violence of any kind has no place in our civil discourse and we urge supporters on all sides to be civil to one another as tensions rise heading toward this very important election. We are relieved to hear that the woman in question was not injured.AND UNNECESSARY!

I have closely watched this video from differing views now and we must take a look at the "big picture" so to speak. This is an age where nut jobs walk up and assassinate candidates, where nut jobs walk up an stab them, throw items at them, and this is what we all need to remember in this case. This is a rally and let's for a moment remove any political ideologies, and party affiliations and look at in basic black and white. The woman is in a disguise and trying to get near, close to a candidate for an unknown purpose.People realized this and wrestled her down trying to subdue her and hold for police officials. The man that put his foot on her and forced down may have been using excessive force, true but we must look at all the factors, all the actions, and then factor in the age we live in and incidents we are all already aware of.This woman brought this resulting action upon herself when she chose to disguise herself and try to access a candidate for whatever reasons, what now appears to be some nefarious intent and she got what she wrought upon herself in my opinion.

All of you conservatives caterwauling about freedom of speech until it impinges on your beliefs. Where were you when Andrew Briebart perpetrated his stunts?
The violence from the right far exceeds that coming from the left. Using false equivalencies about violence that happened in the 60s and 70s ain't gonna cut it.
And Rand Paul completely changed his style and intentions after meeting with Karl Rove. I watched the debate last night. He is well coached with republican memes.
Lesson - don't come to Kentucky and start shit.

The video clearly shows the woman being wrestled to the ground and her wig being pulled off. It also shows a man stepping on her shoulder and pushing down with his foot; then someone yells "no, no, come on" and the man backs off.
Question: 1st of all there was no reason for the man to step on her shoulder! Why was the woman trying to disquise herself? Why did she feel compelled to approach Ron Paul in the disquise? With the president calling the opposition the "enemy" was it possible they though she was a terrorist trying to hurt Ron Paul? And why was she there representing Moveon.org a far left progressive group if not to disrupt, impune, and be able to run to the media saying she was the victim?
Those who are supporters of the conservative movement must remember ... do not stoop to the level of the progressives, i.e. moveon.org , tides, etc. They are only interested in causing riots with the intent of intimidating people who don't agree with their position. We must respect their rights to protest while protecting the conservative candidates from being hurt, using the least amount of force possible!
Spin doctor! I think you need to watch the video a little closer. He pushed down with his fot from her shoulder to the back of her head.

Think about it, some republican guys think they have the right to step on a womens head because they do not like something she said? Sure, lets do damage control and say a WOMAN was wearing a wig blah blah blah.
Why do they make wigs? For women to wear.
REPUBLICAN MEN BEAT UP ON WOMEN!
