If Heroin sellers did more than 6 months in jail maybe we wouldn't have this kind of activity. Sometimes parole isn’t a good idea if you are going to go back and do the same crap you did before. If you sell that crap to my sister, things could get out of control real easily too. The police have to build this big case against these pieces of crap and by that time, your family member is hooked and done for. How many lives have the deceased helped ruin? Well he won’t ruin any more. Sorry for the family and their loss, but glad that we have one less Heroin seller to poison our young people.

sorry, but it would be every bit as much as your sister's fault as the dealer. it's a choice, a bad one but it is a person's choice. every action has a reaction...for the one suspected dealer that was tourtured, murdered and then dismembered 10 more popped up. he was someone's son, brother and grand child. he deserved more than he ended up with. again, it choices.

You are correct, it is a choice, but if the dealers weren't running our streets, maybe we wouldnt have so many addicts. Sorry but I have no sympathy. If you choose this way of life, be prepared for what comes your way. I do feel bad for the families involved, their lives will never be the same again, all because of heroin.

I have no sympathy either, for the dealer or the dope fiend. they are both in the same boat..if the user's weren't seeking, there would be no drug dealers. the USER"S BURN up the streets SEEKING THE DEALERS... it is a pathetic choice, but that is the bottom line.. for the dealers and the users!!! saddley, it is what it is... SUFFER THE LITTLE CHILDREN!!! TO QUOTE PAT BENATAR!!!!! IT'S THE TRUTH!!!! THE KIDS ARE THE ONES THAT HURT!!!!!

We will see what you say when your son or daughter ends up on a slab. The only way it is guaranteed not to happen is if you don't have kids or they are already dead. As young people they can make stupid choices, and if you are parents, it is more likely to happen to you. Pride comes before a fall.

i have buried my eldest son, thank you. bad choices tend to catch up. the dealer is no better or worse than the user. all bad choices. people have no pride anymore. what world are you living in?

I HAVE buried a child due to drugs, thank you very much! So I am speaking from experience. I also know that once the dealers learn that the addict is hooked, they do not leave them alone. So no I do NOT feel ANY sympathy for the dealers. They are users and scum of the earth!

Everybody is entitled to their opinion; I have always believed the exploiter (dealer) was much worse than the exploited (user). Maybe you will say the Raped and Rapist are the same. The Raped walked “chose” to walk down the wrong street. The user does bear responsibility for the action that they take, but the sentence of death is much too severe for their “choice”. The dealer counts on the fact that what they are selling will enslave their customers. But you can “choose” to believe they are both the same.

And the other thing, for possession of a small amount, we give them a ticket and then a court appearance. This makes it seem that doing Heroin is not a serious issue. And as in this case, our little Heroin salesman does 6 months in jail = not a serious issue. Neither the users or the dealers are "taught" that Heroin is Bad!
