How many lawsuits do these local entities have to lose before they wise up and recognize people's rights.

San Juan County, City of Farmington, State of New Mexico - WHY are people who get the County or City sued STILL employed on the taxpayer's dime? They should be PROSECUTED or at the very least fired. Start with this bunch, then Farmington needs get Briseno needs off FPD and fire that a-hole city attorney Cook, Tom Havel who runs the County lockup has got the County into losing lawsuits over civil rights and should be canned also - violating the Constitution is WRONG!

And where do they find such ignorant brutes to work in government jobs, who have no idea that everyone has rights? Where do they find these folk? How do they get on a public payroll? Why don't we have smarter public employees? Why do they make such DISRESPECTFUL mistakes? Can 'em, can 'em. They don't know their jobs and they don't have basic respect for citizens if they don't know civil rights, which are really pretty simple and based on simple respect for one another.

Well maybe if you hadn't messed up in the first place, you wouldn't have been strip searched in JAIL, where they place VIOLATORS of the LAW.

First I think this was a good decision. The police were probably perverts.

That being said, we can defend the rights of prostitutes but not christian rights or babies right to life?

Ah well, good decision that it was, we are still a sick society.

Not that you aren't hijacking the thread for your own purposes... but I am curious as to what exactly "christian rights" are.

Those spelled out in the constitution concerning worship, practicing religion.

These rights are being violated everyday, in schools, in courts, in jobs...from the gay agenda and the Islam agenda and the liberal atheist agenda.

But that is all I will say here about that. You can jump onto some of the other threads and see the cases I have already made.

Score one for the good guys!!! Police should be out busting violent criminals not feeling up strippers. They were supposed to be looking for business records. It sounds like they decided to get into some monkey business.

J1 You know I like ya! I too am a Christian but seriously. Stop already k. You are really trying to force and smoother people with christian beliefs and no one is a perfect person or christian. And you know this is not what we do ... Christians don't think they are better than others and you are really over doing it. I am trying to say this in the most respectful way. I go to chruch twice a week but is that really necessary to say NO. Please tone it down A bit k doll.!

I think they were trying to search the wrong business. Maybe they should be out busting hookers to search for the their "business" records?

First of all, anyone and everyone who has been involved in law enforcement for any period of time will get sued. If you think it wont happen to you, it will. I made it a number of years until I was hit with me first law suit. It was a frivilous case that got dumped. All I am saying is that its part of the job.

Organized religion is just the all consuming fear that somewhere someone is happy. If Christians don't want to go to prostitutes nobody should force them to do so. If I choose to go to one then thats my business not the church down the roads. Many of the "rights" you say are being denied to Christians are not rights at all. Most "Christians" seem to want to force their religion down other peoples throats. Thats not a right.

How do you "Strip" search a stripper? By definition She's nearly naked to begin with.

That must be one really small weapon they thought she was concealing.

Also I know something about accounting records. They don't typically keep them in or on a stripper. Boy talk about multitasking.

I'm usually pro cop but this one sounds like cheep thrills to me.

I am not even sure what this had to do with my comment.

But since you addressed this {I love it when people open up a bunch of boxes of pandoras...or is it Pandora's boxes, or a can of worms?}. Christians have a to practice their beliefs freely and express themselves freely. Protected under the constitution. And you have no idea what forcing means. Go to an Islamic country and find out what forcing really means. Try to be a christian in that country or any other religion and get yourself tortured or murdered. Christians here in this country just excercise the constitutional right to express and practice their beliefs. If you don't like that either change the constitution or go to Cuba or China or any other godless communist China.

Now, back to the topic at hand.

I agree for protecting rights. I do have a question though? We get mad with these police officers but are willing to give up that right in airports?

Tone down what? Your right to free speech? How come non-believing liberals can publically bash anyone claiming themselves as Christian to a pulp, yet no one will argue against Buddhists, Hindus, Sunnis, ete? Is it because the truth hits people dead-on, and they cannot handle such words of wisdom? In these end times, people would rather tape your mouth shut, than let truth and freedom flow freely among the populations. I don't know Roxy, not sure what side you really serve. Anyone can go to church, even a satanist if they so desire. It's what you put into your heart, not where you attend.

COWS
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the state of Washington ? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

----------

THE CONSTITUTION
They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq ... Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.

----------

THE 10 COMMANDMENTS
The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse or Congress is this --you cannot post 'Thou Shalt Not Steal''Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery' and 'Thou Shall Not Lie' in a building full of politicians ..... it creates a hostile work environment.....
