You talk about racist and bigotry you ought to do a little soul searching. The LDS Church is one of the most racist and alienating churches in the country. The church and its most of its membership are some of the most intolerant persons I have ever met. Neighbors who are not of the LDS are looked down upon as are their children unless they show some sort of interest in the church when the missionaries come calling. Kirtland is one of the most divided communities in SJC brought on by the LDS honchos geared toeards Native Americans. Its funny how LDS members are trying to leave the CCSD in droves to place there children in other districts. Instead of pouting maybe both sides should try to resolve theeir differences in a manner thats best for the children. You my friend and your church are only one step above the Westboro Baptist Church.

Good luck Chris you are on a fools errand. Please post what you find. The comments about Tso are just just a repeat of what he already has said in public. Maybe you could post one of uncle Randy's ranting emails I'm sure they are there.

Be careful Since you don't live here, you haven't noticed that The Kirtland you are defending has lost a ton of respect in SJC, more people are moving our because of the mannings than the Navajos. The label "Kirtland Mormon" has become a joke in other parts of the county even in LDS circles.

The funniest part is that now the dreaded NEA now has Fred hathalie, and Irene Cla running in the next election. They will join up with hoskie Benally and push his Shiprock/NEA then we really will see Navajo preference. And the union will be in charge. Thanks Mannings.

Yep continued chaos thanks to the Mannings, and their clueless followers. Without their incompetence we wouldn't have many of the problems that plagued the district for the past decade.

Now with the comming election here is what will happen:

With the election of the NEA supporters Fred Hathalie, and Irene Cla, it will give the ones that really kicked the Mannings out the real power in the district. Good luck with the NEA agenda, it will make the so called "Matthew Tso Agenda" look tame and preferable by comparison. Be ready to really welcome navajo preference, maybe even a navajo superindentent, you dad can fill you in on the short list of possible ones. NEA will get EVERYTHING they want in their next contract. In addition they will likely start a second purge this time of those kirtland teachers and administrators who signed and supported the split petition.

My job is fine, very secure and stable. Much more than a substitute teacher.

By the way your logic on you letter to Skandera really does not make sense. You are accusing her of making up her mind early by pointing out the July 2011 letter? Didn't Kirtland ask for a decision from her by asking for a new district in June of 2011, which she then issued a decision of NO? You asked for a decision and got it just not the one you wanted. I read that letter it was very to the point and firm about her opinion, she didn't encourage the petition, she actually warned you about doing it. THEN you got the signatures for the petition which only made her office have a public hearing about the the very same question.

Somehow you are saying that she should have completely erased from her mind all the issues, information, and meetings from the issuance of that letter until your dad turned in his petition? You are asking for the impossible. The only way the hearing could have been completely impartial would be to bring in a new judge. BUT by statute the Secretery of Education is the only one with the power to make the decision.

I also heard secondhand, through one of your bragging Kirtland neighbors that she was ready to take over the district, excuse the board, fire Levinski, and hand Kirtland their own district in November of 2011. All the results of her investigation, at least that is what they said Randy was saying.

I think Kirtland with the help of your dad fooled themselves, into doing something that ended up hurting themselves. What the Secretery was doing was being polite to BOTH sides and not showing favorites untill after she made her decision, BOTH times.

Good luck on your court thing, Let me tell you how it will end up. A failure just like the rest of your failures, BYU, mission, Georgetown ect.... and just like your dads failures..... you guys are at least good at failing.

Looks like Hoskie and his bunch of NEA clowns are plotting another comeback with Fred Hatathlie and Irene Claw.... Word from Hoskie's bunch, which includes Carm Lowe, is that they will be bring back Tina Descheenie, Micheal Thompson, Larry Emerson, and even Tommy Lewis in their own purge and take over of CCSD. Imagine: Tommy Lewis as Superintendent and Tina Descheenie as his assistant superintendent???

Apparently, Hoskie Benally has been pressuring the administration about applying Navajo Preference with a vengeance. The present administration seems to have prevented a NEA takeover of the district. Sadly, if Hatathlie and Irene Claw win, Hoskie will have more puppets to push his anti-children union NEA agenda. Hatathlie is nothing more than a NEA-backed carpetbagger who didn't even care or bother to register to vote until he decided to run. At least Randy Manning and his family have lived here for over 100 years.

The NEA Union slogan in this campaign is "Union First! Children Last!"

At this point, I'd rather take Randy Manning over NEA/Hoskie B carpetbagger puppet Fred Hatathlie. At least Manning is a lifelong resident of Kirtland and isn't going to give the union everything they want.

If Hoskie and the NEA union thugs have their way, they will bring in Tommy Lewis, Tina Descheenie, and Janet Slowman-Chee as superintendent and assistant superintendents. Hoskie and Ewa K are already picking out the drapes..... Despite the allegations against Levinski, Tso and the current board, it seems as if they've been pretty fair, moderate and even... Hoskie Benally is the only screwball on the board who wants to bring in his union cronies and literally destroy the district.

Irene Claw is nothing more than a job-hopping NEA union burnout who marches in lockstep with Hoskie and Ewa K.

Hoskie, Fred Hatathlie, Irene Claw, Carm Lowe, Norma Pete, Ewa K, and the NEA cabal apparently got their hands on a copy of the Children Last petition and are looking through the names and preparing their own black list that they will use to get rid of many Kirtland CCSD teachers, administrators, staff who supported the split. The present administration, however, kept them on and didn't retaliate against them. All those employees can expec that Hoskie, Hatathlie, Irene Claw, etc., are all going to fire those employees and replace them with Navajo employees.... fulfilling Hoskie's Navajo Preference wet dream.

That is putting it bluntly.

So what will happen if the NEA takes over is exactly what Byron Manning was trying to scare into the white people of Kirtland that Tso and Levinski would do. Yet CCSD hasn't done any form of Navajo Preferance to this date it looks like if the NEA gets on board it will, and then some.

Very Sly of Hoskie Benally, and the Shiprock group. Let Tso and the others on the board fight the split, take on the mannings, then take out those board members with the NEA at the election. Poor Byron, and Randy thought they were fighting the Shiprock bunch the whole time. When it was really people who wanted a better district for all the kids. Now that any thought of a Split district is history for at least twenty years, The old line barely educated radical Navajo group from Shiprock will team up with the NEA to take over.

Classic, with an Ironic twist.

Chris or Whammer Jammer would you care to expand this.

Good Lord what's going on in CCSD!!??? The last CCSD board election was about putting an end to the evil of the Mannings and Byron/Randy Manning Preference in Employment..... Now it seems as if this election is about putting an end and preventing Hoskie Benally/NEA Preference which will really drive the district into the ditch!!

Byron and Randy had "Children Last", which Hoskie B, Fred Hatathlie, Irene Claw, and Carm Lowe and Ewa Nut-job-kowski formed their own group: "NEA/Union First! Children Last."

Bottom line...come Feb 5...there will be voters who are allowed to raise my property taxes who have never and will never pay property taxes which will ultimately support our district. Whether or not we have children attending the district schools, we, as property tax paying citizens will bear the burden. This is taxation without representation. Mark my words. The vote will unanimously pass. Those who live within the confines of the CCSD district and vote will vote to raise my property taxes....as usual. What in our Constitution allows this? I thought this is what we fought for when we came to this country...it's still happening...Sub? You support this? Shame on you.

It is what he law of the land says. Backed up by a state supreme court decision.

What you are advocating is a civil rights violation.

Voters like you contribute about four hundred thousand dollars a year to the district via the taxes you bellyache about. That is about the amount CCSD was wasting on the golf course. Or the same amount the PAC centers were costing. Or the same amount that was being lost yearly to the "no bid contracts" one of your neighbors was getting.

The rest of the 92% of the tax money you are so possessive about comes from the power plants and mines. Do you own those? Because you really sound like like you are laying claim and coveting all of that money.

Didnt the board just do something to save the very same tax payers you are talking about? Why is the mill tax rate in CCSD pretty much in line with what the other three school districts in the area take from their tax payers?

You better get campaigning for Randy Manning, and Christina Aspass, if you enjoy how fair past boards have been to the taxpayers.

If the NEA backed Hoskie board gets elected, get ready for real Navajo Preferance to be policy, with a new Navajo superintendent, Then they will run off every employee who signed the petition, and supported Byron. They may even put limits on LDS seminary, and make it much harder for yor kids to take seminary and graduate.

After that they will double your taxes after the mine shuts down.

Ed your internet stalking of me is slipping. I work for a fortune 100 company, nice job with both a 401k and a pension, full health, and on and on. I'm curious about what you call my failures at BYU, mission, and Georgetown. It was my 2 state championships in high school which got the interest of several colleges, one of whom was BYU where I chose to go only because I could not afford out of state tuition to ASU. After a year at BYU I learned I could go to MCC for two years and get in state residency in AZ so I could afford ASU. So really curious about how I "failed" at BYU. Same with the mission. What was my failure there? Or do you assume that because I didn't go that was a failure? There is this amazing thing called free will and you look into it. Not going on a mission was my choice, I chose college. And I have yet to apply to any graduate school. So again where is the failure. I went to Georgetown, met with a few directors just like I looked at grad school in UT, and ASU. Haven't made up my mind about going to grad school yet. But when I do and when if I apply I will get accepted. Graduating with honors for my bachelor helps a little, plus that whole military thing to boot.

And lets talk a little hypocrisy here. The "no bid" contracts you cry that Farmington construction got while "mormons" were in charge. Answer this Ed, who got the no bid contract to move the KBO to SAO after Epperson and my dad were put on leave? That's right Farmington Construction. And who was it that approved that move? Hmmmmm.

I'm really glad that you are smart enough to post that the NEA plans to go after the teachers in Kirtland that signed the petition. I will just print off these posts and keep them in my files so if that does happen they can sue the district for illegally firing them under anti-retaliation laws. Just like you and Scott were smart enough to post on the DT blogs all the things the administration was going to do before they were publicly announced. Those posts have been very helpful to Alice and Sharon and Jeff's lawsuit. I'll check up on you in a couple weeks.

Farmington construction got the bid because they were a proven contractor that had the state contract and approval, for a no bid contract. The key is the board wanted it done FAST, no time to bid. Since then how many times has CCSD used them? Not much since since those jobs are now put to competitive bid. So your example is pretty sophomoric. Your dad made them look bad. Even though they are a good just doing what they were asked to do.

Remember when I told you all that would be left would be some empty lawsuits?

I'm glad to hear you think you have arrived.

We will hear from you after he election. You guys better get busy, the NEA and Hoskie are pushing hard to finish off kirtland.

Hey jammer tired of spanking your moniker. Now you are choking your spring chicken. With a new monkier. You have been beat every way possible. Maybe if you went to college you could learned something. Those educated Indians on the school board shure schooled you. Maybe Byron isn't that smart after all. We know you aren't, all of the whammer jammers.

The only thing that trumps a tax payer wether it be a individual or a corporation, is a simple vote by an ordinary citizen. Even one who isn't white like you.

Happy school board election. I hope you get what you deserve.
Hoskie Preference

The one thing worse than Byron/Randy Manning Preference is Hoskie Benally/NEA/Navajo Preference. I'll gladly take the Mannings over Hoskie and the NEA idiots and their Navajo puppets called Fred Hatathlie and Irene Claw. Heard Fred H., Irene Claw and the NEA leadership live on KNDN with Chili Yazzie, Janet Slowman Chee and all these corrupt politicians and former CCSD employees who want back in CCSD.

Apparently Hoskie and their group are mad and upset that Levinski, Tso, White, and the other board members including Randy Manning aren't imposing Navajo preference and want to impose NEA/Navajo Preference on all employees.

Imagine Tina Descheenie or Larry Emerson, Tommy Lewis, or Janet Slowman-Chee as superintendent? or asst. superintendents? Imagine Ewa KrackJobKowska as HR Director? Word from Hoskie's group is that they want Chili Yazzie as their new Director of Operations.

Randy Manning, at least seems willing to work with Levinski and the present Board, except Hoskie who seems to be the only person who supports the anti-children, divisive NEA agenda. Aspaas seems to be her own person, and not tied to any special interest, which is how it should be.

Fred Hatathlie and Irene Claw are Hoskie Benaly/NEA/Chili Yazzie puppets.

Chris Manning,

This election is turning out a bit funny. Both ways your hard line position is screwed. Especially with the option of a split district being out for a generation now. Catch 22 is the saying

Election goes Hoskie Benally's way, and NEA does its thing. Or the other way and Kirtland has to join up with Matt Tso to protect it's interests.

Man you guys are brilliantly dumb. Somebody told me your dad was the smartest guy in Kirtland. Maybe now Kirtland is now seeing that he isn't.

Who won the election Ed? That's right it wasn't the NEA. randy got 200+ more votes. Yeah you must be right about people in Kirtland hating the Manning's.

As a side note you do know you would never of been hired by CCSD if they had Navajo preference hiring right? Your the wrong minority to get hired under NP. Just like no African American, Asian American, or Cherokee. P.S. look up the 10th U.S. District Courts ruling on NP hiring. NP hiring will be ruled unconstitutional as soon as the case works its way to the Supreme Court.

It took me a while to stop laughing.

Actually the coalation that Matt Tso put together won the election, by keeping the board majority with three seats. Byron and Randy's invalueable assistance with this was what beat the NEA and Hoskie.

Thanks Manning Brothers. Chris I'm sure you contributed to Matt Tso's victory as well. Give yourself a pat on the back.

I heard rumors comming from your neighborhood on how the KBO/CF leadership would say how easy it was to manipulate the Navajo voters, and leadership into doing what they wanted with the Schools.

Well it just happened to you BIG time, with this election. The only thing Randy won was his Seat on the State school board association. His CCSD board seat only has as much power as the rest of the board lets him have.
