Would that explain why you and your fellow congressman don't want it for yourself but it will be good enough for the rest of us? Even if I knew nothing about this bill (which I do) by congress wanting their own health care and not the bill version tells me alot in it self. Think about this, Take Senator Carl Levin, according to reports, Michigan is the 46th in the nation at getting federal tax dollars back as a budget expenditures. The Keynesian multiplier, a way to calculate the economic effect of this short fall, says this had three times the effect of the auto industry contraction on our state's economy. Further, we only get back 92 percent of federal taxes on gasoline purchased in our state. The shortfall, about 90 million, which should go to repair Michigan roads and bridges, get spent in other states. Why? Levin, whose responsibility it is to oversee getting that money back, is so busy trying to affect the surrender of US forces, he doesn't have time to help Michigan. Yet he won by a landslide. Name the last great thing he did for the people of Michiagn. I can't, can you? This happened because we will not "change".
