Muckraker Moore keeps it up in 'Capitalism'

Oscar-winning filmmaker Michael Moore is still muckraking after all these years, 20 of them, from "Roger & Me" , how General Motors essentially abandoned his hometown of Flint, Mich., to "Bowling for Columbine" , about America's love affair with guns and violence, to "Sicko" , a provocative expose on the American health-care system.

I watched this movie and was not that impressed. Moore had numerous scenes where people were being forcefully evicted by law enforcement after forceclosure proceedings were completed. Needless to say Moore never asked these people some key questions:
1. Did you read the mortgage before signing it?
2. When was the last time you actually made a mortgage payment?
3. Is home ownership a civil right or an economic right?
4. Do you feel any moral obligation to honor your debts?

One of the individuals being evicted was a former railroad worker who was on disability; however his disability did not prevent him from hauling furniture and other material out of his house, nor was this man missing any limbs, nor was he blind. So the most obvious question is why didn't he get a job???

Moore places all of the blame for our current economic downturn on the fat cats on Wall street and a few government officials -- conveniently NOT mentioning Franklin Raines or Barney Frank. If you ever questioned the criticism of Moore being a commy, you won't after seeing this "documentry" he makes it clear, the State must guantee everyone a job and a house.

Mr. Moore is a commy. Here is a lesson from Communism. History has shown when Communists seized power in Hungary, the peasants were delighted with the "justice" of having the large farms confiscated from their owners and given to the peasants. Later the Communist leaders seized three fourths of the peasants land and took it back to set up Government communal farms. Immediately the peasants howled in protest about their property "rights". Those who protested too loudly or too long soon found that they not only lost their land, but also their liberty. If they continued to protest they lost their lives.
