I personally know this pharmacist, worked at the clinic attatched, and know many physicians he filled meds for. I am so glad they finally caught up with him. I left medicine because I could no longer take seeing people die from over dose because the idiot doctors worry more about money than a life. Dr. Yahkmi should know all about that!!!

I don't see anything about revocation of his license to practice.

Pain management is a definite needed field, anyone who does not take their meds as prescribed will have ill effects - and possibly death. Only the patient and dr can determine the appropriate amount of meds for a better quality of life. Anyone who has died - clearly did not take their medicine as prescribed - and may have other things in their system.

These physicians were PAIN Specialist - meaning, the patients came to them from referrals.

Well, well, well. This guy thinks that he is above the law ! it is about time that he pays. Couldn't happen to a better person. He never put anything back in the neighbor hood and looked down on the people who are low-income, and low income housing. Not mentioning that he is also a "slum lord". He deserved a sentece fitting to a "Drug Dealer". Well Mr. Fletcher you will be sleeping and eating with your kind of people now. You deserve your license to be revoked. Your community service should be to assist in a drug rehab so you can see the damage that people like you do. So while you're sitting behind bars Fletcher think about all the little people you used and took advantage of! The people of Olde Town East bids you a "farewell"
Hope for Ohio

Fancy is correct we need pain clinics your family physician may not prescribe pain meds and refer you to a pain clinic. Those who died took to may pills or other pills or alcohol. Others should not have to suffer for their mistake.

wow sounds like a negative piece of work! Olde Town East will welcome him back - He was there in the community for the lower income - something the DEA labeled as so bad. They many times reference the "bad" neighborhood. Wonder what wow has done for the community?
It is called self responsibilty - you abuse your meds, that is an individual decision - no one told you to.

Let's also hope that God gives people out there who decide to abuse their meds some sense. People just blame blame blame. Why don't people take responsibility for their own actions? I do not believe for one second that anyones med bottles said to take with several other legal and illegal drugs -- but, that is what happens - and then the families have to go run and blame somebody else..........

The doctor and pharmacist forced your brother to take drugs?

I am sorry for your loss. Addiction is a horrible situation and a few of my family members are dealing with the situation but ultimately it is up to them to get help and recover.

One count of selling Oxycodone? Sounds like the Prosecutor knew they would lose if they went to court. You dont drop 200+ counts when you know your going to win.

He doesn't have to forfeit his property, even the pharmacy. What is he going to do with the pharmacy if he can't work as a pharmacist? Makes no sense.

Give me a case without a previous drug history BEFORE seeing a doctor and/or NO other drug in their system at the ME office like Coke or Meth and last where the medical records were not fales or fake and we have a case.

Very few cases found at the ME office don't fall into the above! I do this for a living and its gets to me sometimes and I had to vent.

I've never posted before and I will never post again. I will not read replies. Just had to vent

Innocent people plead guilty because they have to. Mr. Fletcher is one of those people. Mr. Fletcher filled a valid prescription, from a valid physician for a valid patient. She had been to Main Street pharmacy ONE TIME. Where are all the indictments for all of the pharmacy’s across Ohio and Kentucky that have been filling her scripts for years?

Why is ONLY Fletcher to blame? I will say it again. Mr. Fletcher filled a valid prescription, from a valid physician for a valid patient!

I am pretty sure the prescription label Fletcher prepared did not read, Inject mass quantities with a syringe. Do You?

Junkies are not "forced" to abuse drugs. They and their families need to take some accountability for their actions. But hey, that's not the American way now is it.

But guess what, Fletcher was "forced" to take the plea.

Based on the harassment from the DEA leading to Fletcher's "conviction", doctors and pharmacists better watch out. They could be coming for you next. Patients need to know, that if injustice like this continues. Physicians are gonna be like, "I know I just split your chest open. You will have to deal with the excruciating pain! Now take the asprin!"

Fancy - You are bright.

Recovering - Isn’t your brother dead because he chose to do drugs? He failed to take the medications as prescribed? Is that the pharmacists fault?

Not surprised - Don’t link the two. The doctor writes a prescription based on a medical need. The pharmacist fills it. And you leaving the medical profession is because of Yakhmi and Fletcher? Huh?

Wow-Sounds to me like you expected free rent from Mr Fletcher.
