For the record... I think you might really need therapy. All you can do is critique my grammer and spelling when im discussing serious matters. Such as people crushed to death in properties who's safety issues were overlooked for a decades, theft by government employees, mysteriously uuninvestigated deaths, and cops on the take..and missing funds EVERYWHERE..

All you do is cry like a baby... an audit is called for mytownbaby...lets see if you and your associates can stand the scrutiny. They are supposed to be working " for"the people, you know?

Again, "MyTownBaby" did jot make the "therapy" comment. "KID" did, but, as usual, you stole his words and tried to turn them around. Again, you moan about no one being able to understand your language, which is completely your own fault. Again, have an audit, a trial, a scandal, a book, and a movie. None of it will bother me one bit, as I'm not who you think I am. And again, you did not answer my questions, but then you will try to accuse me of avoiding the topics. These conversations with you are now just stupid and boring. Adios.

It has NOTHING to do with it. That guy just posts on every topic because he has a personal vendetta against local officials. When he posts, my notifications go off, and I answer them. Back to the athletic fields... what exactly needs done for the baseball field? Does it need a new surface, too? Does it have drainage problems? What would help? Please let us readers know.

Nothing wrong with the baseball field its just a bunch of douch bags that act like they know whats going on when they really have no clue. Starts loke this. BOE had a bond around 2006 that added on a new sports complex to GHS that included a resodded football field. Then boys and girls soccer really picked up and it was too many sports on a field that tore the hell out of it. Everbody knows that grass needs rest to grow which pretty much has a game on it every night.(hint) ask your grass cutter he prob knows. The field has more games on it than NFL's Heinz Field that has to be resodded a couple times a year. Grass cant grow so it becomes a mud hole when it rains. So in order for every sport to have a good field to share turf is the only option. Now the bitch about where the money is coming from. Just a bunch of cry babies without a clue that had their chance to express their feelings at meetings but instead this. What a waste.

Nothing wrong with the baseball field?? Have you been on it? It's a freaking mess. The football team uses it for practice even during baseball season. They have to used money they raised on their own to purchase infield dirt. They mow their own grass weed eat the fence line. No grounds keeper to do their field work. The baseball team has had to wait on the football team to leave so they could get games started. 2 years ago Grafton hosted a tournament for teams from all over the country. But Could only have night games on Friday because the football team could not get off the field for one afternoon in June. Costing the team gate money. Last year we were not even allowed to host the tournament because of the trouble from the previous year. All the other teams take a back seat when it comes to using the weight room or any other facilities. As far as the condition of the field that I know for a fact that several people who actually know what their doing have volunteered to try to get it into shape. By bringing in aeration equipment. My daughter played soccer there several years ago after a few games they got blamed for tearing up the grass. Turned out the grounds keeper had burned up the grass with fertilizer. Well I was just going to keep my mouth shut but when anyone can say there is nothing wrong with the baseball field that's the last straw.

Really, turf? It's YOU who doesn't have a clue. I have NO problem using donated funds at all. None. I have said this before. I DO have a problem with the BOE using taxpayer money when they have no such authority to do so. The fact is they misspent the money from the bond the first time (go ahead, say I am wrong. Defent your previous resurfacing of the field) and now they want to spend money that we need for more important things than a stupid football field. The fact is that most people know this and will not vote for another levy (they have been failing in all other counties around us if you do your research) for many years to come.

It's obvious to me that 'Bring on the turf' is a paid stooge who spouts lies about the bond. We paid for this field ONCE, if they wanted it paid for twice they should have used another bond and ASKED for taxpayer funds. If they had done that, no problem. Bottom line, the BOE had an 'extra'$350,000 in their account (which could have been used for MANY other uses at other schools in Taylor County... roofs repaired, HVAC units, etc), but they spent it ALL on this. I would like to know how much other money the BOE has left from the bond that can be spend on our schools' repairs, or did they spend it all. When Flemington Elementary needs a new air conditioner, will they say they can't afford it?? Why not? Oh, wait, they gave $350,000 for a new football field. Will Anna Jarvis need a new roof? No money? oh, they gave $350,000 for a new football field. We better have a new bond. Oh wait. WE ARE GOING TO VOTE NO on that for at least another 5-10 years. Guess those other schools aren't as important as the football field. I guess they all better start selling candy bars now.

I'm done on here. It's obvious the fix is already in.'Turf', enjoy your stolen "donation" from the taxpayers. That damn field of yours better last 50 years.

Although, I still say, the hardest part is yet to come. You still have to raise what? over $200,000 from private money? Something like that. How many more businesses are left in town to raise that by your deadline? I think you have hit most of them already. Better plan on camping out downtown for your roadblocks. It's going to be a loooooong spring of begging for you.

Once again go cry at the meetings that are provided for your opinion if you are not too chicken shit. The bond that you cry about and this bond have nothing to do with each other. As far as Flemington there is a big project in the making going out that way so stay tuned.$350,000 to save over $20,000 a year having turf. Quit your whineing cause you cant stop it. So much more that will benifit from this that you have no clue about. Bout to see what this $350,000 is gonna do so please stay tuned. By the way make sure you come over to GHS today and buy some tickets to see Taylor Made for $20 and support your turf. Remember go to a board meeting or a friends of Mckinney Field meeting and represent the whole hand full of people that I see really whine like you do.

Shame on you sad, lonely, people, who have nothing better to do than try to tear down dreams and hopes of hard working people who want only good things for our youth of today. Sports, are very good for our children, and they do cause our children to want to excell at whatever subjects they choose because they know they have to keep a good grade average to play sports. I personally don't want to see our children injured. It was evident that too many children were getting injured so badly that surgeries were necessary. And NO you did not pay for this field already! Perhaps the Tax Payers,(which I am one) helped pay for a field. But, not a field like this.......... I wonder if you people that sit and write these hateful, bitter, spiteful, words are even tax payers. My guess probably not. I was told not to get on this site, but I did not listen, that person said to me, "It will just make you mad".
The very last thing I want to leave you with is, if you ever get down and out and need anything, or when you have no friends and no one to talk to, just call any one of the "Friends of McKinney Field" and I know for sure they will give you a hand, money, food, or offer a prayer for you.
