I am someone the community has placed their trust into to respond to emergency situations and I have lost that trust and will be fighting to restore it. I want to first apologize to Walmart, the community, my family, my friends, and everyone else I have let down because of my actions. I am not a bad person but I made a bad mistake and now I am facing the consequences.. I am being kicked off my fire department, I am loosing the scholarships that made it possible for me to go to my school, I have lost the respect of all the members in my community, and my conscious has been burning a hole into my soul. I am not some spoiled rich kid all of you would like to exploit me as.. my car that everyone wants to judge me on is 15 years old and took me years of working and saving to pay for, I did not steal a knife but instead I had in my pocket cat treats and a cat nail groomer that I failed to pay for while purchasing the other items I bought. Please understand how sorry I am for my actions, and please understand I am not the type of man that you are all so eager to make me out to be.

I hope you learned a lesson and won't be stealing again. You seem like a good kid. Good luck to you.

Daniel, I dont judge you and as far as the cmmunity goes? There is never a shortage of people who want to point the finger. But hey, we all make mistakes, the important thing is that you learn from it. I dont understand why you where kicked out of the fire dept. I think thsta a bit stiff for what you did. And i use to belong to the rescue squad. But deal with it and put it behind you. Everyone is guilty of something somewhere in life. Some people get caught and swome dont. You,got caught. Dont let it get to you too badly. Go to God for forgivness and hr will forgive, thats most important.Im sure your family doesnt love you any less. If they do, then they have some deep issues ,Good luck and God bless.
