FLEMING COUNTY, Ky.(WKYT)- An investigation is underway after Kentucky State Police say a man was shot and killed by state troopers.

The shooting happened just before 5 p.m. Thursday at a home on Beechburg Road in Fleming County.

Police say they were called to the home for a report of domestic violence.

When troopers arrived, police say they became involved in a standoff with the suspect.

Police say the suspect's actions later resulted in them shooting him.

The suspect's name has not been released. Police say his wife was home during the incident, but was not hurt.

Don't act sad for the idiot. He made a choice that resulted in his death. Quick, easy, and tough justice.. the way it should be. Good riddance!
