There's more to this sad story than what was printed here.
He left an abusive home when he was a young teen, to go live with Chastity Rector. She loved him as he was her own. And supported his long wish to make a career in the US armed services.
After graduating, he did just that.
Bless you Chastity, for all you did for this boy.
