From my view it seems like this woman is trying to good, but the county wants to hassle her.

ABSOLUTELY NOT the case! If anything, they've allowed her to get away with it for years. The woman is a nut job! She's a hoarder and had over 700 animals at her shelter in Hendersonville before they shut her down. She collects animals like some folks collect tea cups or silver. Most of the animals at her facility in town were eaten up with mange and other awful diseases, kept in crates 24/7, and slept in their own feces and urine. That's not my idea of someone "trying to do a good thing." There is a fate worse than death ... and it was an animal being kept at All Creatures.

How come no one's talking about the exploding gas chamber in Iredell County...savage way to die. Do the citizens of North Carolina want to be known for killing animals in such a horrible, painful manner?

If any one of you had been at the shelter when those poor animals were brought in, you would have been sick to your stomach. Feces and urine were all over the animals. Kappler stated they were stressed, well go over there and look. They are the most content and in the best place ever for them as most of them have never had a clean place and regular food and water. Kappler has gotten away with animal cruelty for years. She needs to be locked away. You cannot possibly think it is ok for 44 animals to be in an 1100 square foot house. She hid several hundred from the state and she has sentenced all of them to a life of horror. If she had just given them up the state had really good organizations that would have found good homes for them rather that just 158 she actually let them have. Driving by her house, you could smell it from the road.
