When you read this kind of story about a child neglegence, I just get furious. There is absolutely no excuse for ANY child to have to be put thru this. And then our "great" judicial system has released them on probabation--what a joke. They both need a surgical "clip" so no other children can be born by this couple. And since they were released, then let them go to Arizona. North Carolina has enough non-working, welfare receiptents, and trailer park trash to fulfill the requirements of the whole US.. thanks to our wonderful "don't help yourself, we'll keep you up & give you plenty of money to spend on your drugs, alcohol & tobacco products". Don't know who makes up these laws & rules, but it appears our governmental officials need to revamp the program.

I was thinking the same thing. That poor child, ust breaks your heart what he went through, never had a shot in this world. Would like to know the background on these parents. We're all products of our environment and kids need to be taught how to be responsible and no one teaches that anymore and then we get more and more parents like these people.

not judging..merely making a statement.you did deeper! Take the time to go to the grocery store, walmart, or the grocery store. young parents don't have enough money to buy groceries, their kids are nasty, crying from lack of LOVE,they pay with their "plastic food stamp card", and there they stand in line with, what should be their private parts, showing to the world-tatoos in every crack & crevace, a blue tooth phone stuck to their ear, buying their cigarettes & beer & wine, smelling like a brewery, & writing a "rubber check". then go out and get in a newer vehicle and speed wide open thru the parking lot to get home to dump the kids off on someone else to attend to.. maybe you need to work with the public & see what we see. They need to get off their "rear end" and get a job.now, dont' tell me they can't find one.. there is help wanted signs in a lot of store windows right now. the system still needs to be revamped.. if you are over 50--your mom and/or dad didn't get welfare to help raise you, they worked for a living !!! get real..
