I am no detective but, as a dental hygenist, was that her normal time of leaving for work, did she normally take her child to daycare or does family in the house take care of infant, seems early to leave unless she eats out or goes to a gym? Just thinking.

I feel sad for the family and I know what it is like to lose a child in a different manner but still a child is such a loss and her child will never know their mom. Our thoughts and prayers to this family.

This is the strangest story. Any motive? Apparently nothing was stolen and she didn't have any "enemies". Very strange.

Mother of Palin daughter's boyfriend arrested

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Published: December 19, 2008

ANCHORAGE, Alaska
Alaska state troopers have arrested the mother of Bristol Palin's boyfriend on drug charges.

Sherry L. Johnston was arrested Thursday after troopers served a search warrant on a Wasilla home. The 42-year-old Johnston has been charged with six felony drug counts.

Troopers did not identify the drug involved in a brief mention on the agency's Web site.

Johnston is the mother of 18-year-old Levi Johnston. Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the GOP nominee for vice president, announced in September that her 18-year-old daughter, Bristol, was pregnant and Johnston was the father.

Sherry Johnston was released from jail in Palmer on $5,000 bail.

To da judge and truth detector (you betcha??),

Seems strange that the names used reflect the seeking of truth, yet both of these folks flaunt their ignorange by speculating on a topic that they know absolutely nothing about and stating it as public record. I am the uncle to one of the girls who died in the Ocean Isle fire last year and sat by quietly and watched the detractors on the internet as they bashed and speculated about people they never met. Meth labs, drug addicts, drunken silver-spooned kids who deserved to die, etc. I think I spent a little bit more time with my neice than any of those who blasted her on the internet, and it dissappoints me to see it again here. I did not know this girl, but it seems that all would agree that she is the victim here. Even if she were a "druggie" (and it doesn't sound like she was), there is no way to justify someone being murdered in their own front yard, so stop trying. Two small children who will never know their own mother and all you can do is publicly ridicule this woman whom you have never met and is no longer here to defend herself. Our hearts and prayers go out to the surviving family members and especially the two young children. I cannot place myself in your shoes, but I have felt the devestation of having a loved one taken away so suddenly (and in this case, needlessly).
Now I realize your purpose here, and that is "get the goat" of surviving family members and others like myself, whom you don't know and have no reason to anger. And this somehow makes you feel better? Makes me wonder about your own mental health. And it seems to me that there is a group of people out there love to place derogatory posts on the web about those recently deceased. These folks obviously have very tiny testicles.

Did your mother have any children that lived? I DID know her. I stand by my original statements.

She was a young mother in the wrong place at the wrong time, and your comments were crude and not very nice. I happen to be her mother.

I said I doubted she was a "druggie" as someone else had said. I am sorry for your lose and I know you want answers just like the community does. I hope her killer is found. As for my comments being crude, they weren't.
