For to stop the increment of troubles between UK and Spain. Spain must close the border with Gibraltar in accordance with the Utrech Treaty.

And the UK must ban all Spanish aircraft and shipping from the UK.

Perhaps Spain would be wise to remember that the UK pays 5.5 Billion Euros into the EU coffers while Spain contributes nothing and takes out 2.3 Billion Euros. Just remember who's paying the bills.

Spain also contributes to EU in number is 9.880 millions euros every year. For spain nowadays EU has not rentability in our economy.

The above figures are correct. The UK contributes 5.5 billion Euros to the EU and Spain receives 2.3 billion more than it contributes.

Sorry maybe you have not actualized the information. Spain since 2008 is one of the big that contributed to EU.
– France receives 13.162,3 milions and contributes 18.050,8 milions of euros.(-4.888)
- Germany receives 12.133 milions and contributes 19.671,1 milions of euros (-7.538)
- United Kingdom receives 6.570 milions and contributes 11.273,4 milions of euros.(-4.703)
- Spain receives 1.560 milions and pays 9.880 milions de euros.(-8.320)
- Bélgium receives 6.800 milions of euros and contributes the half (3.345,5 millones de euros)(+3.454)
– Portugal receives 4.715,3 milions of euros and contributes 1.599,4 milions of euros (+3115.9)
This are 2011 figures. Spain is the one who has less rentability

And it would be wise to remember that UK's debt is the worlds second highest, and as a percentage of GDP is somewhere around 250% higher than Greece. So what would the UK contribute to the UK if Lord IMF and World Bank say pay it all back, that's right absolutely nothing.

Hilarious. Your country is bankrupt. How many bailouts has the uk had to beg for? I suppose this isn't the point though. Spanish government is corrupt and to deflect pressure concentrates on unimportant issues. Stop wasting all of our time and concentrate on your own important issues such as the highest unemployment in the eu. Sad

My country,......... is not Spain, but if you look at your country's debt it is over 300% of your GDP, considering that Greece's debt is somewhere around 220% of their GDP, I would be concerned about it, instead of boasting about how much you have to give when de-facto you have none. You haven't begged for bailouts because like I said the creditor lords: IMF and World Bank haven't asked for the debt back (could be waiting for you to take out more loans to bailout other countries and wait till your debt becomes even higher) but I wonder what UK would do if they are forced to pay their debt immediately.

Oops I made myself sound like a hypocrite, I assumed your country is the UK, but anyway focus on the corruption of your country which isn't less than that of Spain.

Then perhaps should get its story right before it all ends up in the UN ICJ.

Spanish Fisheries Chart Steers Clear of British Waters

Maps freely available in the Junta de Andalucía's website show that shellfish fisheries designated by 'Spain' in the Bay of Gibraltar clearly respect the boundaries of British Gibraltar's territorial waters.

The uk has its own currency and is able to service it's debts. It has amongst the lowest rates in the world. Yes there is massive debts but there is also a strategy for paying it back, a growing economy and shares in 2 banks which look likely to pay profits in the billions. It won't be easy but the uk is growing and unemployment didn't get out of control. However all of this is completely irrelevant, Gibraltar has the right to choose its path and it has. Simple.

So the UK is able to pay 300% of its GDP, what is gonna do print more pounds till its worth less than the Zimbabwe Dollar is worth more.

Haha. No we have a viable economy with a workforce paying tax, and a world that wants to invest in us. Unfortunately countries with no basis of raising money like Portugal, Ireland, Greece and Spain or as the Germans call them the PIGS are dragging down the failed experiment of the euro. Uk fortunately didn't join. We are in trouble yes, but not at the point of bailout. Going back to Gibraltar Spain is embroiled in scandal. Not sure if this has made it to your newspapers. They also have an economy that is not doing to well. They have followed the sad argentines in picking on smaller communities to defect their problems. It's a shame for these innocent people. Not sure I want to carry on this conversation until you have maybe done a bit more research. Debt is one thing but check the other stats too. Maybe start with GDP growth for the last quarter
