Paper said (for what it's worth) the apartment was not occupied but a maintenance man was working in it. Gas?

BIG MAMA's water broke and blew out a wall which in turn ruptured a gas line causing the explosion. Maybe that will get rid of some roaches and bed bugs.

Man, you're just full of hate aren't you? The owner is a single mother of 4 and you poke fun at her loss...what a tool you are.

Are you teaching your daughter that ignorant form of compassion?

The "residents" don't own anything at Hillcrest, fool. They semi live there at the good graces of the taxpayer. WLOS said that the apartment was unoccupied and the maintenance man was in it or near it, but was not working on it. I have some compassion for SOME good people who live there who are suffering from the drug dealers and other less desirables that exist there and are a waste of good air.

Tardog,
What is the significance (sp) of your avatar? Is that you or are you just using somebody else's picture?

Exactly what did she "own" THB? Aside from her 10 year old Mercedes with phat rims, 52" plasma TV, and a bunch of what she considered nice cloths what did she own, please? I am sure those "welfare babies" were fed as cheaply as possible in order for her to have more money to cohabitate with one of her baby daddy. The home she lived in, squatted would be more apt, was paid for by tax dollars so she owned nothing. Our home burned, not hers. As for her utilities, those services also supplied by the tax payers, how or why am I supposed to feel bad for her? No doubt she and her children will be put up either by friends and family also suckling at the tax payers’ teat or by us directly in the form of hotel or shelter. I'm sorry THB but my sympathy goes out to families that work hard to provide a decent life without expecting to be taken care of by us. Those who lose EVERYTHING and the government isn't there to take care of them. You know those who pick themselves up or from time to time you see please donate jars out for.

Points you may have over looked:

1) I made no reference to race so don't be making it racial or accusing me of making it racial.

2) According to a previous poster and the article I had read the apartment had been vacant.

3) If you have the balls to bring my daughter into this you had better have the balls to make that statement to my face. I know you are a coward because you relish your anonymity and make stupid comments about how none of this matters. You fuck around making comments that denigrate peoples children and you will see that this does matter to parents that actually love our children.

As for what I teach my child. I can promise you that I am teaching her to be far more tolerant and considerate of others than you are.

So who crowned you Judge of all people? Looks like it to me that people with attitudes like yours might be the waste of air.

So you teach her to make fun of someone's loss. That includes 4 young children who cannot control what "mommy" does.

What a tool.

OUR home? Damn, you're delusional. You wouldn't know sympathy if it was wrapped in a Big Mac meal with $100 dollar bills for napkins. What you just stated above is some hateful, ignorant chit. You are warped, bro. Glad you can only find the time to post your bullchit on here and not pollute the general public with it. What a chump.

The kids should be removed from a home where the mother only knows how to live off the system and make babies. That is what is wrong with society. A free ride mentality developed with the start of welfare. It should be workfare or starve.

You just have excuses for everything and it is always someone else's fault. Good for you, keep being a sheep.

As for my daughter, believe me when I say you know nothing about her. She cares more and is more considerate and tolerant than I have EVER read in ANY of your hate filled posts.

You call me a chump, I laugh, simply because you have to be the biggest chimp on the planet. You might have learned to eat termites off a stick but you’re still a 50cc brain in a 250cc world. Stick to insults and running away because you clearly have nothing of substance to offer.

Seems your oh so 'special' mother of the year was swearing out a warrant at the time. I have to wonder what she left on or broke that could have caused such an explosion. Meth lab, gas left on with open flame on the second floor, home made explosives the list is fairly short. I would also postulate from my many YEARS of experience having volunteered in housing projects that she undoubtedly cared little for her home because it was given to her and she didn't have to work for it. No matter the eventual cause, I am sure negligence on the part of the occupant will be a primary factor.

You want to whine about the sake of the children despite the actions of the mother? Are you suggesting the state or federal government step in and take the children away, for their own safety? If not, then your comment is pointless and BS. I don't care if the mother was the meth whore of the housing project and was a worthless human being to boot. The 4 children are her responsibility and either you support that or you support government intrusiveness into private family matters. You don't get to excuse her and make victims of her children while running to hide from your mis-statements in an earlier post. The Red Cross is putting them up in a hotel for a few nights and providing clothes for the children. There, done and done, without your woe is you always the victim whine.

Just a question oh so sensitive one, what if the investigation finds that she caused the EXPLOSION and fire? Are you still going to feel for her? I mean clearly thanks to her tax payers will have to rebuild the structure and possibly move several families at our expense during the construction. Do you think that she should be expected to pay ANYTHING towards the damages or possibly the inconvenience of her neighbors, if she is found culpable? Of course you don't. No, you think the evil rich people in Asheville should rebuild the apartments and probably upgrade them, how convenient, with the latest in green technology at an outrageous additional tax payers’ expense. FYI monkey (chimp from earlier) if the tax payers paid for it, then it is our home that she is living in. She owns nothing and as has been discussed before has no right to deny searches of the premises or claims to privacy of ownership. If those generational inhabitants want the rights of ownership they need to work hard and move the hell out of our apartments.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Sagittarius

If you have any worries or problems today, a close colleague could have the answers you seek. Work will be satisfying, and anything to do with children should be very rewarding today. There could be friction with a relative, but it's nothing serious and things will sort themselves out in due course. Again, you must pay attention to your health, Saggitarius: skin infections are a strong possibility at the moment.
