I wonder how difficult it would be for West, TX or Boston, MA to pass a fire levy right now. Seems no one fully appreciates their first responders till something like that happens.
I want the Clearcreek / Springboro firefighters ready to respond, I'm voting yes.
No reason at all for firefighters NOT to be ready to respond.
There is enough money already being generated by local taxpayers to fund needed services. Taking advantage of exploiting national crisis is just another ploy of the union's emotional blackmail.

Local taxpayers know that in our cities, police and fire staffing levels are determined by natinal groups in order to drive up the number of employees needed. Why are local taxpayers forced to financially supoort big salaries/benfits for TWO assistant fire chief? Why do we have a fire captain recently hired when there are threats of closing a fire station IF the voters say NO to the May 7th tax increase? Appears we need better management of our taxpayers dollars instead of the government asking for more money.
It is time for taxpayers to say NO to this May 7th ADDITIONAL continuing levy; It is time to tell Clearcreek Township government to reform that budget and stop threatening to close that fire station and fire employees. Responsible voters will say NO to big tax increases keeping our community both SAFE and AFFORDABLE.

When you have a person that owns a business inside of the city and has several thousand "customers" all over the township, what do you expect. The voters don't know most of the facts. If they did they WOULD vote Wade and Gabbard out.
Cathy Anspach is the only person that actually takes and interest in the township, without lining her pockets. When there is a complaint she will go to take a first hand look on her own time, and then go see the "ZONING ZAR" Jeff Palmer and tries to work it out. Not since 1815 when the township was formed has a lady been elected trustee until Cathy. She always tries to use common sense to find a solution. The township is lucky to finally have a person elected that knows how to rub two nickles togeather.

Hopefully she'll be able to rub those nickels together and make bail after she's indicted for obstructing justice and bribary for paying off a police officer when her kids got themselves into trouble with the law. Good thing she'll be gone in November!

Yes the township will bill you and your insurance company if they respond to your home. Yes even if you are a tax paying clearcreek resident. BUT what they don't want to you know is this. When they bill you for service and you can't pay, after 3 times they drop it.
Only way to put A stop to the stupid spending in the township is to stop the money flow. Make sure you vote HELL NO on May 7th. These cowards are afraid to even put the word "LEVY" on their signs. They are just trying to bleed us again so Dennis pickett can retire "AGAIN" with a little dignity. I say do like we all are doing tighten your belt stop using my vehicles for "personal use" and put a dam time clock in the the township. I want to see just how much time is spent on the job. Focus, and boromomma13 take your mits off the keyboard and read the contract Mr. Pickett made for himself when he was "REHIRED" by Ed Wade. Mr Wade told me and the people in the meeting he just couldn't find a persn to fill Picketts shoes for 84K a year, hold on a minute, I just puked. Then spend another 12K for a company to tell him that. Hey maybe you will puke and bump your head and maybe see the light of day. If the real facts hurt then you should pull that rock back over your head, cause you aint seen nothing yet.

Clearcreek just rolled over 13,685,938.10 January 1th 2013 " unused money" into their investment account. Do you think we need another levy???
We are now paying 6 never ending levies now dating back to 1980
Three police levies
1 4.00 mill brings in 903,000.00
2 2.00 mill brings in 562,000.00
3 1.50 mill brings in 375,000.00
Three fire levies
1 1.00 mill brings in 375,000.00
2 2.50 mill brings in 1,050,000.00
3 3.85 mill brings in 3,335,000.00
Folks do the math if this isn't enough to run this small township there will never be enough.
Don't forget when you pass a levy it stays with your property for LIFE it never ends. Think about that if you are thinking of selling your home down the road.

Just take a minute to look at these pay scales and think, how many working tax payers does it take just to pay one of these people.

Call the Fire Department and talk to the guys yourself, or email them on the website. This levy is important to all of us, and our ability to continue to protect you. Its not scare tactics, its facts. If you notice the campaign doesn't focus on what happens if we don't pass a levy at all. Instead we explain about the 50% increase in run volume and the 50% increase in population that we need to be able to keep up with. Then for those that want to know there is a some info that explains what happens without this levy...

We aren't building a new station, we aren't creating any new positions. We are just trying to keep doing what we have been doing.

If you are satisfied with our current level of service, and want to keep it. The only way is a YES vote. If you vote no, we will lower our level of service to stretch our budget out further until we eventually run out of money. We are currently operating at a large deficit due to increasing costs (run volume, cost of diesel and utilities, etc) which is why we need this levy.

Good services cost money. Please learn the facts and vote Yes To 3 to protect Springboro and Clearcreek Township.

Maybe no one is able to address all of the hate and lies you spew. Check your facts!
1) Prove your double dippers
2) Check where money is allowed to be used i.e. levy use. I would encourage you to go to the Ohio Revised Code. Fire and Police levies may only be used for the stated purpose.
3) We know you hate Wade and Picket, get some new material
4) Comparing deprtments- seems responable
Clearcreek spends less and serves as many people. Odd, seems like a good thing. That was information I needed
5) You note the funds, but avoid expenses. If income exceeds expense, you go negative. So cut or get more money.
6) No money = less people, Less people = less help
7) Compare pay between this department and others, Are township fire fighters and chiefs paid the same as other places? I care and I am sure you don't. I prefer people helping me to be at the top of their profession.
8) My entire cul de sac have signs supporting the fire department and we will vote for them.
9) In parting, My family and neighbors support the fire department.
We WILL Vote YES on 3

Excuse me, public record, but there are no outright lies and manipulation of the facts that you falsely accuse as skewed and/created.
These facts are recorded in the Clearcreek Township Government Meeting Minutes of the public meeting held on December 13, 2012.
Read it and educate yourself before going on "public record" proving yourself ignorant.

An interesting question: Why these huge pay increases for double dipping Assistant Administrator Ron Wilhelm of $89,020.61 annual salary, PLUS $126.92 per pay period car allowance!

Just One More Good Reason to Say NO on May 7th to NO MORE MONEY for the government, until ALL active payrolls are cleared of this "double dipping expense to local taxpayers."
