Only a true moron ....? Who Are You Calling a Moron? Do you know the definition of a "moron?"

1. A stupid person; a dolt.
2. Psychology A person of mild mental retardation having a mental age of from 7 to 12 years and generally having communication and social skills enabling some degree of academic or vocational education. The term belongs to a classification system no longer in use and is now considered offensive.

Why not stop the name calling and the mean-spirited bullying of your neighbors, who are taxpaying homeowners and voters, having an opinion of individual responsibility, instead of collective government micro-managing of OUR money?

Only a long-time township trustee government "micro-manager" like Ed Wade would believe that township homeowners can just blindly "trust the trustee" and Vote yes to increased taxes on our family homes! Ed Wade has been elected to public service for so long that he now projects his attitude of "owning the public" for his "service of best interest to the government's own."

Ed Wade is the same trustee who just said NO to township homeowners' request for a 2013 tax holiday; after the recommendation had been made by a government official reporting to the public that the township government had over-collected taxes from township homeowners; and that the government could well afford to give the taxpayers a break, because of the big government surplus of funds.

Clearcreek Township Trustee, and Trustee President, Ed Wade, refused; saying that he thought the government could make better use of the money than the taxpayers who had earned the money. Ed Wade also said at public meeting that the township would have a fire levy in 2013 because a NEW FIRE STATION had to be built. The "need for a new fire station" was the FIRST excuse that Ed Wade gave to the public; now that this "excuse for new money" is dispelled and there is no need for a new fire station, homeowners are being bullied to vote hundreds of dollars of increased taxes on our homes just to keep service at the current level. That just doesn't make sense. That's why we just need to say NO to the Wade/Gabbard vote to Increase Taxes of hundreds of dollars on our family homes; and just support the leadership of the township trustee who voted NO New Taxes on homeowners, but Yes to Cutting Expenses of the government.

Make sure you only read and reflect the portions of the minutes you like. Ask the elected offical about the HUGE math error made on her part. Notice she stopped talking about a tax holiday after that? Probably not a coincidence. Or maybe she was just two busy getting 2 elected salaries at the same time. County Recorder and Fiscal Officer. Those 2 jobs are actually supported by tax payers at the exact same time.

Check later minutes. I would link them to you, but you are not going to read them. The discussions decided it would cost even more money to open a new station. They decided to not try and ask for more dollars. I just can't believe the fire department would ask for money after 12 years, how dare they after promising not to ask for more for 10 years. Oh wait! They did more than they promised.

Call the auditors office and ask what happens if levies are not collected for the township or any other levy. Sad thing is you will not. The whole truth is not what you spread. Mislead/Misinform, I guess that is the sign of the integrity you lack.

I actually read the minutes and looked at the levy information.

The Public Record post is NOT the "handywork" of the elected official that you threaten here.
The one who posts as "Who is this Morrow Ohio" obviously "suspects" that Public Record information is hidden from the the public; and only elected officials have access.
What paranoia is that?
And "Who is this" among us with such sickness of mind to "threaten" an elected official?
Springboroians are well advised to VOTE against this type of blogger's bitterness of blabber.
What big words? If your "threaten" words are meant for removal from office in November, YOU BETCHA! Be careful using the correct terminology when posting as it shows ignorance. Sorry, but true!

Clearcreek Township
250,000.00 of our tax dollars gone
Date: 2013-01-13, 11:03AM
At the last township meeting Mr Ed Wade gave 250,000.00 of our tax money to the city of Springboro. He could have paid for the new hired fire chief Mr kidd. I have no doubt that by handing over 250K to the city, by the way he owns and operates Wade insurance company inside the city limits, that he will receive a lot of votes in the next election for himself.
This 250 K could have been used for a tax holiday from just one of the 14 levys we have on us. Make your vote count so we can get back to saving the over taxed payers a few bucks when we can.
And put a stop to double dipping. Call me crazy but isn't this the same as buying votes??
Why isn't the media reporting this?
In May, there will be a fire levy on the ballot. Instead of a tax holiday due to over collection of our tax dollars and having an enormous cash reserve they will put a levy on the ballot, but first they have to spend down their reserves so they donít look rich.

Then why did the Township Trustees VOTE salary increases for our high cost double dipping Pickett assistant, as stated among other
salary increases for administrators in the minutes of the December 13, 2012, public meeting?... Retired/Rehired Ronald L. Wilheim $89,020.61 annual salary plus $129.92 per pay period car allowance.... retired/rehired

Township homeowners are paying Car Allowances for our double dipping Pickett administrator assistant? Isn't that "getting a free ride" at taxpayers expense? Homeonwers are paying for the "free ride" of the double dipping Pickett's assistant to travel to work on the "work days" that double dipping Pickett doesn't want to go to work?

In addition to the above ACTIVE payroll expense taken out of homeowners pockets, Mr. Wilheim also recieves his RETIREMENT pension (which is also taken out of homeowners pockets)...

What kind of responsibility is this of government administrators double dipping for themselves; and then handing the bill of big tax increases to homeowners,..... because the firefighters want a pay raise?

There is no way in May that township homeowners should vote for increased taxes on our homes; when such disregard is shown to township citizens by our township government leaders. We really need to say no to the fire levy tax increase and take time to look more closely at our township government leadersship, BEFORE investing more of our individual family income into collective
government services.

Just Say No on May 7 to our double dipping township government leaders' request for "MORE MONEY PLEASE" for the firefighters, or else your family safety and property will be in "harm's way...."

More comments about Double Dipping, you can find out how many people in your local schools, local townships and Cities are retired and rehired. Ask for the records of whom is currently a retire rehire and how much they make. It is a public record and is your right to know.

It happened right here in Clearcreek Township. When Dennis Pickett retired July a year ago, Trustee President Mr Ed Wade couldn't wait the 75 days required by law to rehire Mr Picket so he could join the ranks of the double dippers too. With 5,000.00 per month from the township retirement, then add that to his new salary of 84,000.00 and that does not include his car allowance and several other perks, the one I like is he can come to work or not,( no joke ). He can choose to come to work when at his own choice. That comes to about what most of us hard working tax payers make, 144,000.00, RIGHT!

.....The only way to put a stop to these buzzards flying around the pot of gold is to stop paying taxes. When we all do that then the public workers will come down to earth, like us.

They will never realize that our financial crisis is due to their spending, padding government pockets, protecting each other, taking from the real work force until we stop handing it over to them. Take these spenders out of office, say no to new and existing taxes, downsize your tax burden. We have also have triple dippers in our government.
