You will have to wait for my book for all the details but I will give you a brief. You ask how they are making profits?
OK, you have a group of individuals that if they do nothing about drugs then a neighborhood gets run down. Neighbors move out and city takes over properties. Then members of the same law enforcement outfit purchase all the properties for bottom dollar and some recieve them for FREE from the city.
Then there are friends of the network that are players. They could be developers! Hmmm?? Big profits here! Then there are properties that recieve a very low assessment which in return cost them thousands less in taxes.
Now for its members? Some are in the college. Some are in the police department, the courts, the clubs, the FFD and DPW. Many can be traced through DUI arrests and NON ARREST.
An FFD member stated out here that the Fay Club has a sticker and that certain people can pay $5-10,000 a sticker which will exempt them from arrest.
The only time this is not controlled is when an outside police agency gets involved.
Now if you want to know who the members are then give each city employee including the courts and city hall a slip that is to be annonymous and ask them if and who the network is and you will have your answer.
So, let me get this straight, Lynch. According to your theory, then, all of the city's maladies are the fault of everyone you don't like. The mayor, the cops, the courts, the university, the firemen, the DPW, the Sentinel and, I'm guessing the Registry and the State Police as well (Have I left anyone out? The Knights Templar or Odessa perhaps?).

All of these institutions and actors have all been engaged in a massive conspiracy to destroy the city for their own benefit, is that right?

And once you arrived on the scene and discovered all of this and began to collect evidence of their criminal misdeeds, they all targeted you by conspiring further to make sure that your complaints and evidence were dismissed never to see the light of day, that your license was revoked and that you were barred from the university grounds. Do I have all of this correct so far?

You're like the old cartoon mad scientists; "Fools. Why can't I make them understand? I'll destroy them all!"

No, I am not stating that it is anyones fault. Let me put it this way. If the state was going to pay me $80,000 a year and then another $75,000 in OT and I didn't have to get dirty then ofcourse I am not going to argue against it as I will just accept what is good. My point is that it isn't the person getting overpaid who is at fault it is the management who is at fault.

We have the best trained fire department in the area. These guys work hard and are very professional out on the job. Their jobs can be dangerous as well. I would want the hire process to welcome more of the community with an opportunity for employment. And I definately do not agree with padding certain individuals pay before they retire and just to walk away from the finacial burden of the costs of their pensions.

In reference to the good ole boy network. For one it is evident by now that this type of network does not work for the betterment of the community. It actually destroys the fabric of the community and the honesty and integrity of the system.

As for the Mayor well I honestly feel that she has failed Fitchburg and it has all been for political gain. Her number #1 campaign stool is that Fitchburg has 4 Million in the bank where as when she began over 6 years ago we only had an account.

There is more to this fact. For example, if she wanted she could make that 8 Million. Butmy point is enoughis enough as it is becomming self defeating for Fitchburg. In otherwords alot has been put off for later which will cost more to repair. So instead of paying 1 Million cash with no interests to fix roads now we will spend $100,000 per year for five which equals $500,000 and then at the end of five we still have a $2 Million fix ahead. Now they just figure well now we can borrow $4 Million at low interests and get the job done.

In the meantime EVERY citizen pays for repairs to their cars that they cannot afford. Every citizen has to pay atleast double for water and sewer costs. Every citizen has topay more in taxes. Every citizen has to pay more for insurance because the neighborhood is deemed high risk. It all travels down to your wallet.

We should be pro-business! The license commission should of been replaced, the zoning board and so on. They have made a complete mess out of things. No one is held accountable as they say ,"oh that is so and so's kid ect..

You can not fix any problem without being honest! We need to hold people accountable. As of right now I honestly feel that the city council has been a complete do nothing council. In otherwords they have done NOTHING for the citizens!

The citizens vote them into their jobs. You can agree with someone politically but you are your own person when it comes down to leading. I feel that Mayor Wong has full control of the council which I think is counter productive. Every situation needs pros and cons to be debated and then a vote.

You can't even keep your rants straight.

The good old boy network exists only in your mind (which must be a chaotic place indeed).

Haven't you ever wondered why you're the only person who sees the good old boy network and is aware of the activities of its malefactors? Why none of the other 40,000 people in the city are aware of its existence?

You're like Jimmy Stewart's Elmer P. Dowd in the movie "Harvey", who is the only one that can see the 6-foot tall rabbit and is convinced that it's everyone else that must be crazy and not him.

The train that runs through the city goes straight into North Station in Boston. Go downtown at your own risk (I recommend not going downtown). Kevin,

You are wrong in saying that any person getting paid for doing nothing isn't doing anything wrong...I know you are used to being supported by the taxpayers for doing nothing, but there is such a thing as moral code of ethics. You have no moral code, so I realize it is difficult for you to understand. The person taking the money is absolutely as guilty as the management that has enabled the system to do that...I know in your world, it is ALWAYS someone else's fault, but that isn't reality.

As for all of the rest of your rambling here...it doesn't even deserve a response.

Where did you learn such deplorable behavior? Your mother and father? They must be real low life trash to raise such a horrible human such as yourself. Uneducated poor white trash. You should thank every hard working, tax paying citizen in this state who affords you the opportunity to sit all day with your fat lazy patents and live off the system. You should be cutting our lawns and washing our cars, at least earning your keep.

I think Lynch is hillarious. He always complains he is surrounded by criminals and the elderly. Sorry but nobody wants to hear about what goes on in your home.

Wong has a plan and I like that she sticks to it. You can't change a broke city overnight first you need to develop the money.

I also laugh when Lynch in one sentence claims that the community is over run with criminals and elderly and then writes we have to hire more people from the community to run the city? Makes no sense.

How dare you talk about my family! My family has more years of work than yours. Both my parents worked for decades. Both my brothers constantly held jobs. I have held many jobs and have had my own business paying taxes. I happened to have had a bad spell of health.

Matter of fact I have worked harder than most. My hands are twisted from all the work that I have done over my life! I delivered papers when I was in 7th grade and for years after. I sold papers in downtown Boston as I remember yelling "The Globes here, get your Globe here"! I made a bundle selling hundreds of papers a day. As a kid I worked in a grocery store where I had to get working papers signed by my parents.

I had my own business when I was in Highschool and then onward. I worked for many construction firms. At home I always worked. You are mistaken about me. My older brother has worked since he was 17 yrs old and he is 45 now. My younger brother worked since he was 18. My mother worked all her life, not only did she work but she took the incentive of training for better positions all the time by learning the first computer programming in Boston and then going on to training all the city of Boston employees.

My father held the same job since he was 19 yrs old, before that he shined shoes downtown and then went to work for a big jewler in Boston who trusted my father above his own family. You have it all wrong! You shouldn't speak on matters that you know nothing about!

My father did military service and all my great Uncles were in world war 2, one of which lost his leg in the war. Other Uncles were Chief of police and Captains of police departments. All my cousins are college educated. My Uncles and Aunts were principles, deans and science teachers at Notre Dame.

My father is 75 yrs old. He worked hard and always abided by the laws as he always taught us to respect everyone. My parents are very good people!!! They are trusted by everyone! My mother is so honest she wouldn't let her grandson take an extra point in bowling as she ran the bowling league. She taught him to NEVER lie, no matter what!

My mother still watches little house on the praire and still cries watching it. My mother now has a young grand daughter and a young grandson that she teaches and she is molding them like the little house on the praire. She teaches them to be very polite and to always learn anything and everything. She is a saint. If you ever want someone to raise kids you could trust my mother to be a great mentor.

I know you are attempting to be a trouble maker as someone sent you on here to harrass us. I think that you are the rat faced trouble maker. I will tell you that back in the day if friends of mine heard you talking about my parents like that they would lay you out. You are a big mouth that is reckless. You are being very aggressive.

I still would suggest to you to never open your mouth like that in front of any of my family as good chances are that you will get your trumpet nose busted! Just giving you a heads up as I cannot speak for others but I know that they do not put up with that shit.

It seems like you are being aggressive. Are you looking for a fight? We can set one up for you if you want to fight that bad! We would have to do it legally and probably in a ring. Lets us know, otherwise we can't break your nose for you as you will just then put on your skirt and lie to the police! We can do family fights if you want also. You can have your father, your uncles and your cousins in the ring if you want.
