"I tried to run after him, but I'm not faster than the Cherokee," said sales associate Charly Chakaroh."I was very close to his hand and was able to get the second 2.59 carat (ring) before he ran away," he said, adding that [Kevin Lynch] told him his girlfriend didn't want anything under 3 carats.

"We determined he swallowed the ring," Capt.[Robert Larsen] said, adding that Lynch consented to a search. He was taken to a hospital in Derry, N.H., where an X-ray revealed the diamond in his digestive tract.

Just like illegal parking all the profitable businesses should clear their sidewalks of snow! But, the authorities drive past the connected ones. Treat everyone equal. The ones they skip are the ones who can afford to pay the ticket and or a person to snow blow their property.

Equal treatment works!!!! Economically and socially.

Fitchburg is a great place to live it just needs adjustments and leaders with guts. Someone like me is ideal as I wear blinders. As crazy as it sounds I would ticket my mother for parking in the fire lane.

I understand rules but they need to be applied equally. At present I believe that they stopped parking at the FFD. Yes, I kept writing complaints. Then they began parking in Dunkin Donuts. As I stated I would ticket my mother if she parked at the fire station and then walked over to another establishment.

As a result the FFD head quarters looks more professional and regimented. I watch the fire engines swing out and through the fire lane freely on their way to an emergency.

What I would like to see happen next is for cameras to be put onto emergency vehicles and to activate when their emergency lights go on and if you do not pull over on the right then you will receive a ticket.

Faults and all, Lynch is the only one brave enough to have his name and past out there for all of you to ridicule, not one of you are as brave, that's a fact!
You can make all the excuses you want, he is the only one with his real name and past out there on these boards, not one of you has the stones to do the same.
My excuse, I don't ridicule this person for his past. He may even have present issues, I ignore rantings and may pick out a theory or two but ignore the non salient postings.
If you're not willing to do the same and make yourself known then you should not be hammering on one who is willing to have himself known, unless you do the same!
And your name is? Your little rant has no validity. Let me try to explain to you why. You claim that people ridicule Lynch but in the same process are you not ridiculing people? So what's your name?

I agree, all those sr. citizens who don't shovel should be fined. Hey, equal treatment, right?

Now if someone parks at dunkin donuts or any other private business then it is on that private owner to complain. If they do not complain then that is there business.

My views are more logically fair than people may think. When the FPD approached the city council with its proposals to raise the fine for illegal parking in handicap spots I would be open minded to the idea. But I refuse to allow such a raise if our own FPD are not going to follow these rules or friends or relatives are going to be allowed to abuse and violate these heavy fines as they feel like it.

I feel that the RMV should outlaw stickers on the drivers side or back of a vehicle that depicts association with a fire department or police association. Do not allow any such stickers! Everyone sees these vehicles cutting people off, going through red lights and parking where they want to.

Such issues works against the community as we are saying "do what I say not what I do!" Abide by the rules of law even if police and other connected individuals are not"! Such behavior is at an all time high!

Let me state that EVERY citizen knows better than to park in a traveling lane. One it is against the law, two it is DEADLY!!!!! Deadly!!!! Now if a "first responder" does this during non work hrs then they should be written up at work as well as a ticket. Whether they like it or not they lead by example. And they should know even BETTER than your average citizen of the law and of the safety issues!!!!!!

As a city councilor I will propose for every retail store to have to clean the streets around their business up to two blocks. Such as Tedeschis, at present they have no waste barrels. Trash flies all over Main street and Highland ave.

They make enough business as it should be stipulated in the permits to run their business. Let hem hire a cleaning company to do the cleaning if necessary.

Same with private properties. If a tenant throws out a couch then the tenant gets the ticket and they will have to pay and if they don't then put a warrant out on them and bring them in and have them pay the court fees.

Things are out of control. There is no accountability. Once you begin to ticket the tenant then everyone will be held accountable. It is illegal to litter also.

A cleaner neighborhood will increase the neighborhoods marketability.

The city council and the mayor are responsible for all of these issues! I wrote them over the parking issues and they sat on their hands. Recently some one reacted properly which is a good thing.

Such Accountabilty is a better business investment than the current proposal to hire a business exec unless their are specific goals presented first. And I feel that it should be put to a vote for the general public.

Yes, if they are physically not capable to do the snow removal then they can hire some kid or landscape company to clear their walks.

And if it is evident that certain seniors are having a tough time to pay then there is a list. Someone will decide if that elder is in a financial position to pay for this service, if so then they can pay a small amount and either a city employee or volunteer can research and hire a person to remove snow. If there is a financial burden then I would also encourage for a volunteer crew from the Univesity and or high school to assist with snow clearing. And/or we could have taggers who are caught on a duty of community service hrs to accommodate this need.

There is a way. And NO we do not open such a program up for just anyone to qualify. As a young kid I shoveled by hand for neighbors. We would knock on doors for hire afterwards. Currently, to do the stairs, trash access and the front walk.$25. This is fair and landscaping businesses would love to assist as many have elder discounts. Such discounts some companies get small tax breaks and/or it is a good way to advertise for their other services.

Didn't you say it is the city's responsibility to shovel the sidewalks during the winter?

But now you say it is the tenant's responsibility to keep couches off the sidewalk?

There cannot be separate rules. Is the tenant responsible for trash and snow on the sidewalk in front of their residence or not?

The tenant is responsible as it should be stated in a lease to know the rules. The city is responsible for changing the trash rules without having future plans and for duping the citizens in the first place.

The city council turned the vote down then the next thing we all knew it was being implemented. The citizens WERE NOT adequately represented on this issue!!!!!!! FACT!!!!

I would even go to the extent of being a jerk and stating , "who does the Mayor work for ?The citizens of Fitchburg or WASTE management??"

They dropped the ball on this one and the citizens got the short end of the stick! There should have been better and stronger negotiations on the Mayors end!! She failed!!!!

If we don't make a stand now who will? I say just keep your trash bags in your house for the next two months. That will show the city and make a statement! Who' with me?

I want it to stop. Actually I demand that it does stop and I request for a face to face meeting to address it.
I am running to office again and I will not lie for anyone, I will not be biased against anyone but I am not going to act like I do not know the truth! How can people do this??? Either there is a constitution or there isn't!!!
Do we stand for equal civil rights or is there exceptions? Who makes these exceptions? I have issues with a few judges on the bench as I think that they should be removed. There is a lot of problems and they all effect the community.
At present the community in Fitchburg is dysfunctional, nothing is working. We have reached the bottom as only out of control chaos can follow such a dysfunctional mess. We need real leaders and we need to follow the constitution note for note as it works when applied!!!!!
Ironically the Constitution is our only savior! This corrupt machine runs deep in government. They want the community to conform. They are now transitioning our community colleges in order to transition people into factories. They are forcing low wage and long term suffering on the population.
Leominster has been elbowing Fitchburg and cross checking us into the boards and we conform to them. They are positioning to take our businesses and anything good out of Fitchburg. I don't blame them as this is what I was stating for the Mayor to do concerning Leominster. It is competition which will be here forever.
I stated that Fitchburg should position for a casino. Now Leominster is in the running. I don't know all the pros and cons of a casino but it was worth the discussion to take place. Even now we should be jockeying these investors into taking a look at Fitchburg and put better incentives out there.
I have been proposing a Fitchburg connector which is good for business and is the only funded job projects being offered by the federal government. They all say, "Fitchburg would never be approved"! Well how do we know if we do not apply? How do we know until they deny us? We have had study groups on our Main street and on John Fitch highway. This alone is a sign that we need infrastructure assistance.
You're not in any position to demand anything. You have a long history of sliming people by name on this forum. You want to be be able to continue to do this without anybody responding to you. It doesn't work that way. You can't post nutty accusations about people and expect others to believe it. You haven't been able to prove anything. And you lie about your past.

C'mon everyone Lynch is right. Paying a fee for trash removal and water supply is a violation of our civil rights! I can't wait to see the look on Wongs face when she figures out we have been keeping our trash in our houses for months and haven't used any water! Who's the smart one now???LMAO!

Let me try to explain to you why you should read first and if you had, you would not need to ask this question...

"I don't ridicule this person for his past. He may even have present issues, I ignore rantings and may pick out a theory or two but ignore the non salient postings."

If you ridicule him for who he is, what he has done in the past, not what he posts, then you are not brave enough to put your past out there!

If anyone on here gets so upset they start demanding people's identities, what would happen to them in the real world when someone criticizes them to their face?

If they cannot function on here and control their emotions what are they like in the real world?

Either they need to stay away from here, just turn off the computer or they need to get a life !

I was offered a job out here and you threw your two negative cents into the mix. Anyone can change but I cannot change anyone but myself. I believe that you can even change into being a nice person.
It is all positive energy; in fact I may change my name to positive energy! I hope you have a wonderful day! Enjoy the weekend!
