See the Story Below. Moor Proof of what I have been telling you all along.
A Bay State man is lucky to be alive after a different kind of smash-and-grab incident where he was plucked from the wreckage of his smoking truck crash in time to save his life.
A good Samaritan broke through the wreckage of truck driver Joao Barbosa's mangled vehicle to save him early Wednesday, minutes after Barbosa's rig skidded off a slippery Route 1 during an ice storm.
Barbosa was delivering doughnuts when the crash occurred.
Barbosa, 56, was recuperating at home Thursday, in bed with broken ribs, cuts and bruises after being released from the hospital. He said all he remembers is swerving to avoid a car fishtailing right at his rig on an icy hill. Minutes later he heard the voice of a stranger.
"He was unconscious so I was yelling for him and I was like,'Listen, we got to try to get you out of here. The truck's smoking," said Carlos ORTIZ, 26, who happened upon the dangerous accident and noticed Barbosa trapped inside the truck.
The other car took off, but Ortiz, a warehouse foreman, was on his way home at 1:30 a.m. in the middle of the ice storm when he saw the crash.
"I'm not going to lie. I was actually scared myself, going toward the truck. He was moaning and stuff, so you could see he was in pain," Ortiz said.
Barbosa said the driver's door was pinned against the road and he was strapped in. There was no way out. Ortiz acted quickly, doing the first thing he could think of. He smashed the windshield and pulled Barbosa to safety.
"The fire extinguisher landed right in front of his windshield, I had to hit it at least a few times and then I helped him get out through the hole in the window," Ortiz said.
Barbosa's family called Ortiz their "angel."
"I know his boss went to the site and he didn't think that he was alive," Barbosa's friend Carinna Depinho said.
Ortiz, who has a wife and two-month-old baby said he didn't think twice about doing the right thing.
OK there is one for you, 230,000,000,000 for reality. The law of averages says that sooner or later that would happen. Looks like thats it for this century, next one like that will probably read "Angel Ruiz pulls victim from burning car to gain access to stereo system, Accident victim's wallet also stolen".

Stop the racism.
It makes the world a better place.
Maybe it'll stop when the freakin' PRs start acting like civilized productive citizens instead of a bunch of gang banging drug dealing welfare abusing dirtbags.

WOW, so harsh.
The world is consumed with negativity. I beleive everyone has good in them. Whether or not they choose to use it constructively is up to the individual!

Critisism and belittling is not a positive way to reinforce GOODNESS.

That sounds like it was taken right off the pages
of a fairy tale. Not everyone has good in them. Some people are just down right losers and scumbags,,not just minorities but all races. But the majority of the minorities fall into the latter.

When I work 50 to 60 hours a week to try to make ends meet, then go look around at all the scumbags living off my tazes, 20 years younger than I, wearing 10 grand of gold chains around their necks, food stamps, mass health, all the goodies, free housing and utilities, won't speak english, BULLCRAP, It is difficult to have much of a different attitude. Why do these toilets come here in the first place?-10 degrees this AM. I wouldn't mind being on an island in the Carribean right about now. Why would you leave? No welfare programs down there?

Forgive me Lost, but my husband and I work just as hard as you or anyone else does for that matter.

There is no doubt it is a failed system. At least there are limits. With the current economy there are more than just members of the spanish population applying for much needed assistance while trying to make ends meet.

There are programs that comes with assistance that should be enforced such as working on a career or learning new skills.

If they enforced it, instead of just saying HERE it is if you want it, then maybe people who pay taxes can think of it as we are helping someone less fortunate than us get back on their feet and have a stable productive life and that should make all of us feel good.

I do not believe everyone abuses the system.

Typical liberal - you seem to be absolving the abusers of any guilt and placing the blame on the people who offer the assistance??? Does "personal responsibility" have any place in your fairy tale land???? Naw, didn't think so.

Maybe 10% of those on some form of relief in this state need, or deserve it. There is no residency requirement, drive your stolen Escalade up from Florida with a half ton of dope in it and as soon as your sorry keester crosses the state line into Taxachusetts, if you are black or claim you don't speak English, it's here you go-how much you need! White guy gets laid off after working for 25 years at the same job, on the verge of losing his home and its tough crap, find another job or go belly up. Kiss my rear end you pie in the sky liberal loser.

When does the gravy train end?? When will people wake up and see that we are drowning and this is the reason why? It will get worse before it gets better thanks to all of our liberal "open armed" politicians.Hold you hands out for your freebies lowlifes,,there's plenty where that came from. Our tax dollars hard at work. Think of that every morning when you go out to work in the minus zero weather.

The gravy train won't end until the state is bankrupt - which may be looming closer and closer on the horizon. Self-righteous liberals vote in liberal pols who are more than ready to give away the store to these illegals. The liberals who vote them in may classify themselves as "taxpayers" but many of them earn so little that the taxes they pay barely cover the services they consume, never mind pay for the multitude of benefits that these illegals suck up. It's the taxpayers vs the taxsuckers. In MA the scales are tipping in favor of the taxsuckers.

you are delusional...must be the prozac that keeps you happy because you certrtainly aren't grounded in reality. slowly but surely the standard of living for someone who does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to the point that there is no need to go out and make a living, be a productive member of society...soon someone will pass a bill that gives free hi-def cable TV to those "less fortunate" because they are at a disadvantage (no fault of their own) to people that work to pay for it. it already happened with the sub-prime fiasco, and is a good indicator that we are moving into a scoialistic society where the government takes everyone's money and doles it out as they see fit at the expense of personal freedom and capitalism. but I'm sure you'd enjoy that "little miss shut the F up"

The issue with today's world is the fact that regardless of what ethnicity we are, there will always be some type of racism. I, personally, don't mind the mix of races and ethnic groups; however, and a big HOWEVER, I do NOT, in any way, think that these people living off of the government purely because they're too lazy to get a job or become an actual tax-payer belong here. Don't get me wrong, most are Hispanics whom of which are here illegally, but there are a LOT of Caucasian and African Americans who are doing the same thing. My theory: If you can't pay taxes, get the f**k out of the United States. I'm moving to Mexico. I highly doubt there's any Mexicans there anymore. >_> kthnx.

I might sugest YOU take a wider look at things, Little Miss Nutcase. You sound like a typical liberal loser, for each miniscule speck of goodness around here, that you might spend a day searching for, there is a MOUNTAIN of CRAP staring you in the face. You seem to discount that part. Just stay in your little pink cloud world and keep your moronic comments to yourself.
