All citizens of Fitchburg are invited to attend. All current candidates are encouraged to attend. Chief Demoura and any and all members of the fPD are invited and encouraged to attend.

I am looking for volunteers to assist in organizing a Public Safety forum. Topics to be discussed will begin with;

The citizen's of Fitchburg's want for respect from the FPD.

Questions to be asked the Chief if he accepts the invitation:

What are you going to do in order to develop a "sense of community"?
Will you implement an Internal Affairs that will hold officers accountable for their poor and illegal behaviors?
Will you implement "civility" training within the FPD?
Will you implement a seminar for all officers to attend pertaining to the use of Heroin and the difference between that opiate and Methodone?

What have you done since you became Chief of Police in Fitchburg?
Do you feel that you have earned your salary and why?
Will you install cameras within the police station?
Do you feel that proper behavior of officer's will bring less lawsuits? Do you care if lawsuits are filed against the city due to officer's abuse of power?
Why has it been stated twice this year in the newspaper that there is a lack of protocol within the FPD?
Can you explain your recent comment that violent crime is down within Fitchburg?
Can you explain your recent comment that crime will go down when the economy gets better?
Do you feel that Fitchburg could use Chief Bratton techniques and policies?
Why haven't you had any recent community meetings?
Why is the FPD charging the city $99,000 to have an officer at the pool for three months?
Why does it take over 1 hour to arrive at a 911 call?
Do you refuse to serve and protect certain citizens in Fitchburg?

It never has taken an hour or more than an hour to arrive at a 911 call. It usually takes a couple of minutes if that.

You do know what 911 is for? Right?

You have been back and forth with people on this forum that have stated that it took over an hour. You even stated that your mother called and it took over an hour. One time I was told to wait 40 minutes but to stay on the line and keep and eye on the situation. There was knives and rocks being thrown at this point and roughly 30-40 yound adults involved. This is when I was first told that there was only 3-4 cruisers on duty all the time during second and third shift; FACT!!!! Another time I called and it took 65 minutes for a cruiser to arrive, by that time the intruder had traveled the commuter rail and exited in Boston! This is unacceptable!

One time I called due to a very strong smell of gas and was told by a fresh mouth cop to call the non-emergency line! I ended up getting in touch with the FFD and they came right away and told me not to listen to that dispatch and to always call 911 for a smell of gas!! There was a major leak!!!

911 is to alert the police of a dangerous situation and/or a situation were danger is lurking. You call so accidents can be prevented, drug deals can be prevented and for violent situations to be prevented!!! You have this feeling that you must OK what siuations warrent 911 calls!! You are absolutely WRONG,100%!!

You are attempting to downplay situations! If you see someone with a gun, you call 911! You do not wait for them to shoot someone or to rob someone!! If you see a drunk driver you call 911, you don't wait for them to crash and kill someone! If you see a dangerous obstruction in the road you call 911, you don't wait for someone to get injured!

Nice try!!!!

Life or death situations are given top priority, such a robbery in progress. Cops can't be everywhere. There maybe several life or death situations going on at once, you don't know that. If the PD is dispatched to several emrgencies at once then other departments, Leominster or the SP will cover. If you see a dangerous obstruction in the road, MOVE IT YOURSELF.

I asked 911 if they wanted me to call the tow trucks! They said No, we are sending a cruiser. They knew I was waiting as they repeated, I am sending a cruiser they will see you at the scene!

And if it is on rt 2 you sometimes cannot get out of your car.

You make a good point concerning that there maybe more than one life or death situation happening at once! This was my exact point at the forum!! The FPD had to call in Leominster and the University police to handle one arrest in a domestic dispute. What would happen if someone on South st. was being home invaded? I don't know if you are aware but there are a lot of B&Es in Fitchburg!

However you look at it we need to accomodate the second and third shifts! If there is no money for extra police then we must renegotiate the FPD union contract as a matter of public safety! There is language in the patriot act that can be utilized if the city needs to null and void the contract due to public safety needs!

Believe me, if anyone knows how hot it can get in the kitchen it is me!! Every aspect of my life has been attacked. My credit has been seriously affected and both my parents health has been suffering as a direct cause of the FPD harrassment. The Chief of police sent a small army of police to my court hearings to flank the entire back wall squeezing my witnesses out! And this was done after the judge ruled it a closed hearing. Even my attorney stated that bhe was bewildered in reference to their intimidating stance.

Since my 20 yr old nephew and his friend were faced with an uniformed officer in his personal car driving at them on the wrong side of the road in a game of chicken! All threats and assaults such as this have gone un investigated by Chief Demoura! Ultimately what he stated in the newspaper was Lynch and anyone that is related or friends with him will not be protected by the FPD! Already my family goes to the Leominster line for Emergency assistance! This is the fact! "Good ole boy network" WHO????

Who cares what other bloggers state? I want the actual run reports and dispatch logs showing the response times.

In any emergency 1 minute can feel like 10 minutes. Remember the caller reporting the incident takes a couples of minutes to comprehend the situation and make a decision to call. The caller's adrenline is flowing which doesn't help. It then takes 2-3 minutes to call and to forward the information to the dispatcher. 5-8 minutes may have passed since they notified 911 but they feel the responders were in route as they witnessed the incident. This is a natural thinking process.

The dispatcher receives the information, enters it in the computer and locates the nearest unit to respond. This may take a couple minutes. If it is a fire department related call then it has to be transferred from 911 (the police dispatch) to the fire dispatch which will take another 1-2 minutes.

The responder receives the call from dispatch and usually takes 2-4 minutes to arrive on scene unless there are acceptable conditions that will delay the response.

Total response time for the caller may be 10 minutes which the caller may have not realized has elasped and this may feel like an hour. Total response time for the responder from the time they get dispatched will be 2-4 minutes.

Everyone always states if feels like forever for responders to arrive.

You can call the tow trucks. You will also be responsible for paying the towing bill for the vehicles. The tow truck service do not just tow vehicles because they are illegally parked. They have to get authorization from law enforcement or else they can be held responsible for grand theft auto. The police were protecting you from liability for calling the tow trucks. The city also has a legal contract with a tow service that must be adhered to. Not any tow service can be notified for a police tow.

Also there is a difference between a no parking area and a tow zone. If the sign in front of JR's is a standard "No Parking" sign then the worst that will happen is a ticket. I don't believe parking in front of JR's is a Tow Zone. Even if it was a "Tow Zone" it wouldn't be considered a emergency unless the sign said " Tow Zone Emergency Vehicles Entering & Exiting" Lynch abused the 911 system by reporting illegally parked cars that would have only recieved a $15/20 ticket. You are 100 correct that only the police can request a tow on public property. When the fire station was built and that part of the street was critical for the entry and exit of emergency vehicles the correct sign would have been posted. As far as I'm concerned Lynch was totally wrong on how he handled this all situation and deserved eveything he got. As I mentioned before he should be charged with abusing the 911 system as someone with a real life or death situation could have been delayed because he tied up the line with his trivial problem. He's the real criminal in this whole saga.

You are wrong! Both civil and criminal courts will rule in my favor! There was a car towed from the "TOW ZONE", I believe the officer's statement was it was endangering the public due to cars being forced to cross the double yellow! I call it "DOUBLE STANDARDS"!

You deserve the same thing that happened to me to happen to you! This is what I call Karma! You will be dealt the same cards one day and then you will feel different!
It is like the death penalty, some people will say, "hey if one or two innocent people get executed then be it". Now an open minded person would put themselves in that person's shoes! There have been people released from prison after spending 15-25 yrs in prison and they were innocent! This country has also executed innocent people!

So, you are ok with cops lying on the stand in order to illegally incarcerate someone??

You may think it is OK against me but it may be you or a relative next time! Let people swear to the truth on the life of their kids! Say , "if I am lying may my kids, wife and family be afflicted with painful cancer"!

So you think that it is OK for officers to lie on the stand in order to illegally incarcerate someone because they have disagreences with them?? There are proper ways to respond to disagreences!

If an officer feels that an Internal Affairs report against them is not correct then they can reply properly! So you think that it is proper for officers to beat us up, threaten our lives and throw us in jail for calling 911??

Do you think because i have a CORI from 20yrs ago it gives the FPD the right to disregard my equal protection and civil rights?? I will prove them wrong till my dying day!! There will be a federal answer !

You are a coward who constantly attempts to label me! Let me ask you? Why is there no longer illegal parking across from the FFD? It is a good clean view of the FFD now and a very good feeling that they are no longer being hampered from exiting to go to an emergency!

And you make a good point! When they built the FFD on North st. they placed "Tow Zone signs on both sides of the street"! And I haven't been watching but I believe that the parking in the FFD parking lot of bar patrons has stopped also!

And it is ironic because on March 26th, 2011 we parked our car on North st. because the FFD lot was FILLED with cars of patrons from the bar! Can you say "Good ole boy network"?? I went to the door of the FFD that night but it was locked! And then against court orders they taped over the video at the FFD!

Lynch, you claimed you took the Civil Service Police exam and have been passed over numerous times by others for that position. You will never be a COP Lynch, get over it!

Asking a 911 dispatcher if "they wanted" you to call a tow truck because of an illegally parked vehicle is like asking a commercial airline pilot if they want you to land the plane. You are a whackjob Lynch! It's no wonder you're behavior is being deemed a form of harassment by the Police Chief. Like a barking dog that spends all its time chasing cars, you clearly should be leashed.

Every day on these threads Lynch, you expose more and more of your twisted logic. And every day, it becomes more and more clear that you are an accident waiting to happen.

Has there ever been a day Lynch, when you've stepped back and really focused at all the chaos in your own little mixed up world and tried to figure out why it’s so dysfunctional? Has it ever occurred to you that you might just be the cause of all that chaos and dysfunction? Has it ever occurred to you that your failure to get control your own obsessive behavior could be the reason why you've lost all credibility?

For the sake of yourself, or better yet for the sake of others, you clearly are in need of help Lynch! Whether it’s behind bars or in a padded room it has become very obvious you are a menace to others.

The FFD is a public building and parking lot that taxpayers have payed for. Anyone is allowed to park there. Any citizen has the right to use the building for the restrooms. Anyone can use the community room also if they want to to hold meetings.

LMAO. You are funny! I heard that the old "Venues" is buying and moving in across from the FFD.

The bike gang "outlaws" wants to park their bikes on the FFD sidewalk! All the gang bangers can't wait to be able to burn their tires and smoke the street out ove on North st. They are excited because now they can play their rap music on the speakers displayed outside.

I wonder how the FFD and FPD are going to react to parking out front and in the FFD parking lot. Everyone is so excited! From hotrods to lowriders!
