the only thing on the move here are all the decent people leaving the city and the unending stream of lowlife coming in
you are right on! people's homes for sales are increasing in this city; 6 of my neighbors within 2 streets have most recently put up their homes for sale inclusive of myself being one of them. thanks to one house on albee street ....... amazing that our neighborhood is the freeway for drug runs. everyone knows it! albee street is always listed as a shooting or drug bust. if this house was gone we would be at peace and in pretty decent shape in this old neighborhood; what a shame one house, thats right one! can do to demoralize and decrease your home value. i called the fpd so many times this past summer; it was sickening. they do what they can with what little they have and that is pretty sad.

What a pathetic group of responses. I am guessing these idiots didn't go to school, because their grammar is atrocious! Wong is smarter than all of them together. Fitchburg needed fiscal discipline not a hand out like these readers most likely receive. Get a flash light if you need to go outside. Regrettably many of the cops are crooked or think they are better than the rest of us and she has just called them on it. Get a life Fitchburg low-lifes that have no clue what a great job Lisa is doing.

you are the pathetic one my dear. oh we went to school alright and could be that is why we know better ! wong is a complete phony and obviously has you quite fooled unless of course you are a person of interest and cannot be bias. maybe you have been hanging out with the low lifes to long and have turned, i don't know and i don't care. wong is a poor example of leadership. if she was a northeastern poli sci major i might have a different take on her ..........but she isn't ! you sound like another cop hater like lisa and her buddy demoura. sounds to me like you have a self esteem issue. i noticed people like you can do nothing else to defend themselves but to call people names which is a sign of ignorance and no class. you don't have to like everyones opinion or agree; but try some facts of the matter.

She will cozy up to someone when she wants something and then doesn't flinch when she stabs you in the back after she has gotten what she wants. You are right she is the truest of the true phonies. I can't wait for her to leave this city.

Did you even vote? You really shouldnt be giving any opinion on this matter if
you didn't. Or maybe you should try running against the mayor see how much better

I stated what I stated; there is nothing more for me to say. Ask the people involved in the deals if they are shady or not! Ask them straight out! It is obvious that you are one involved.

When you cross reference and the same name keeps coming to the surface then there are questions that need to be researches and asked. If it comes to fruition that zoning board members favored the rezoning of wet lands for a developer and there are connections to sweet deals, then there is a problem!

A lot of these elected officials and appointed have to disclose! In the past ten years, we want to know if the zoning board made any rulings on wet lands??? There are a lot of pay offs or scratch money if you would that is involved with big developers. Most of these big complex sights you can go to and see the shody work.

These contractors would sell their own families for the almighty dollar! Zoning boards hold a lot of power, a lot of power! There decision for or against a developer could mean Millions to these developers! If it would mean that they give a house from the development away in order to build a group of 15 on wet lands that they bought for close to nothing then they will without blinking an eye!

It is up to others to watch out for these shady dealings! A zoning board member told me that a big developer and a known politician called him in reference to wet lands! On the other end, I was told by a retired Fitchburg policeman that city officials use to call him regarding property.

Everything in Fitchburg usually gets swept under the rug. Citizens get tired of hearing about "how tough it is to be a cop, politician or fire fighter". It is well known that deals go on! There are too many favors being given to a select group of people. The city of Fitchburg has gone without a lot this year! The city without asking assumes it is ok that the tax payers sacrifice without normal city services such as lights, street cleaning and lack of law enforcement.

Then as you see nothing being done to correct any of the "Big Three" , it gets tirering to watch any longer! The city council gives all these departments anything and everything they want! Then to see all these sweet real estate deals along with all the b.i.t.c.h.ing about how hard their job is! Enough is enough!!!!

The citizens of Fitchburg DEMAND change! It isn't up to whether or not the Mayor is motivated enough; if she chooses to be satisfied with half measures then she needs to go along with Demoura! The police took one hour to arrive on an intruder call!!

This is public safety, We want demoura out!!!!!! If he can not protect this city and he wants to make it tough for citizens to arm themselves then he needs to go!!!!!!!!!! Everyone on here who sticks up for the ineptness of the FPD is under the old belief of "business as usual"! These days are all over! Some may be powerful but it doesn't make it ok for them to break the law!!

If you are so concerned with whom the zoning board member is, just look at the voting of the board concerning wet lands! This person told me that they wouldn't comprimise there vote, so if he stuck to his guns then he will be able to tell you who the Known politician and the developer are!

It is time for Wong to go! Bring Demoura the do nothing with you! Nothing has gotten done! Half Measure Wong!

The citizens of Fitchburg have sacrificed!!!! Now you have NO answers on the ineptness of the FPD?

As a matter of Martial Law you need to tell Demoura to arm the citizens of Fitchburg as the police are extremely close to NON existent!!!!

Fire them all and tell the Union to go Fudge themselves!!!!!!!!!!

Fitchburg needs JOBS! Our local politicians have recieved MILLIONS in JOB recovery grants. From Flanagan through Mayor Wong; Nobody has mentioned the CREATION of JOBS from these grants! They just smile and cut ribbons!!!!!!

This money should be used exclusively for Fitchburg residents! Follow the FFD policy of hiring residents of Fitchburg! The city needs to secure these grants and open a store front that accepts applications!!

We need to protest for these grants, WE NEED JOBS IN FITCHBURG!! Do not allow these politicians to continue to give these grants to GIANTS that pay three people 4 million a piece before they even hire an arcitect!!!!!

That is "business as usual". And when is this city going to straighten out the FPD????? It seems like all the city councilors are TERRIFIED to even address corruption that PLAGUES this department!!

WHY IS THIS THE CASE?? Why do we need to proceed as "business as usual" Why can't we have positive change?? What is wrong with CORRECTNESS city councilmen??????????
