Is it a state job? So, it is one of those elected positions where name recognition counts right? Just checking! Maybe you should ask all those who vote what exactly Register of deeds is responsible for and who is the register of deeds?? I bet over 90%of those 11% of registered voters who actually vote would state they do not know the answer to either question!!! Do a little test, ask your family the two questions!! |

I am still trying to figure out where the story is here. Sounds to me like a big case of sour grapes for Ms. Buckley. Be gracious in your loss and move on!

No, it's a case of an elected official scamming the system at taxpayers' expense. Sounds to me like you're a relative. |

Actually I am not. In fact, I have never met Ms. Buckley. That being said, for her to feel so pationatley about the subject matter and come up short must be upsetting. I will pray for her. |

I'm sure the assistant to the assistant of the register of deeds only gets like 45k a year and has never been seen at the office. Big Govt. is a cesspool for our money.
She probably only spends 3 hours a day there because that's how long it takes her to read the stupid endless letters from Lynch ranting about something. Then she goes home with nausea and vomits. |

I don't know anything but for what we all read. I disagree that there is no recourse for the citizens, I believe something can be done otherwise this registra can just stay home for the next six years if she wants and get paid and/or get another full time job. Many of these gaffe jobs the person usually does get another full time state job. |

Who does the Register of Deeds report or answer to? If the answer is....the voters.....then obviously the election speaks for its self as the voters made their choice last November. This is clearly a witch-hunt based on small-town politics where, if you can't handle the potentiality of not winning an election you entered, then you shouldn't have entered the race in the first place. Though I feel compassion for Ms. Buckley (as it Is quite clear that she is devestated by the result and outcome of the election) I can't help but feel she should pick herself up, dust herself off, stop feeling sorry for herself, and consentrate on keeping her siide of the street clean moving forward. I think the term that comes to mind that needs to be injected into the situation is......GRACE. We all could use more of that in our lives!!! |

Let's get back to point...Kathy Reynolds Daignault does not show up @ work. Office morale is awful and if she really goes to meetings last see her calendar. What should the staffing level be? She is getting Big money and excellent benefits, if she doesn't need to manage her staff, should taxpayers still continue to fund this position. Let's do a productivity assessment of staff and resources, Massachusetts can use some downsizing!

One would think she would be the busiest worker in town with all of the foreclosures. Oh wait all she has to do is sign the bottom line on paperwork prepared for her. Great work if you can get it.

Yes, let's get back to the point. Ms. Buckley desperately wants the position as ROD. In fact, she even made the claim that she was the only qualified candidate to run for the position in decades. Now that was a politically savey statement to make! Essentially, she is calling the public idiots for not voting for her....past and present. So yes, let's get back to the point. This is not about "productivity assessments". It's about Ms. Buckley very publicly having a pity party because she lost. All of her efforts are geared towards her holding the position of ROD. It seems as though she may be cutting her nose off in spite of her face. But then again, she is the "only qualified candidate" right? What is she going to do if these "productivity assessments" eliminate the position? What is she qualified to do then? As it relates to "office morale is awful". To be blunt....grow up! Of course office morale is awful. 1st. You have a witch hunt being executed by a sore loser candidate (and her internal allies who work for the ROD) who continue to stomp their feet like children a the supermarket who want candy at the checkout. 2nd. It's a state job! Stop being so naive! You do not work for the state if you want a nice warm and fuzzy happy work environment. It's all bonus if your lucky enough to have a state job that you can tolerate while having access to the benefits. So yes, let's get back to the point. Ms Buckley (and her friends) are having a pity party. Please do not patronize the public anymore than you already have! It's not about productivity assessments and calendars. It's about Ms. Buckley's ego. Let it go Ms. Buckley.......let it go. |

This woman represents everything that is wrong with this state. I searched her and found she holds titles on almost every 'board' out there from Govt to banks to Law. It's just not possible for a single human to do. Or these jobs are not significant and should be done away with.

So, essentially what your saying is, is that the ROD is a good job to have. Which means what? Your jealous? What it is? You said it yourself....great work if you can get. There in lies the rub.....Ms Buckley has tried on numerous occasions to "get it". However, as the record clearly shows, she has fell short of her goals. While Ms Buckley may be very qualified to examine titles......it is clear she is not qualified to win an election. Bottom line....this whole thing stinks of sour grapes. |

There is a simple solution for you.....run for public office and make some changes. Please keep in mind....you must be qualified for the position, but, you must also be qualified to win an election!!! |
