I was upset to read Lance Armstrong has been banned from cycling and stripped of his titles. That's all the reason more they should bring the race back to the Burg. There are plenty of bike riding drug addicts here, he would fit right in.

The only organization that can strip Armstrong or any other cyclist of anything to do with the Tour De France is the ICU, the governing body of international cycling. The ICU has been suppoting Armstrong from the beginning. The USADA has no authority of anything to do with the Tour De France. The USADA can say anything they want, it is the ICU decision to strip Armstrong of his wins. As it stands right now he is still considered the 1999-2006 winner of the Tour, only the ICU can change that. The Federal Government didn't pursue charges against him, he has passed well over 500 drug screens in his career. The same witnesses being used in the USADA'a case are the same ones the Feds deemed not credible. The USADA has alot of bark but no bite. Now they have to prove there case to the ICU in order for Armstrong to be stripped. As far as your comment regarding drug addicted cyclist in Fitchburg you have no clue to what your talking about.
