Wow, let it all out! And you are a firefighter? great! But on the point of the gangs you are probably right as it is the gangs who will probably solve this crime. Maybe we should issue them cars to protect our neighborhood as the FPD is failing!Searching for the boy is a way for that community to deal with a tragic situation. It helps them mourn and brings them together to lesson the pain. Searching will not find anything but searching is their way of supporting each other.
The Mayor and Chief have nothing to say, what are they going to say? Everyone knows the police are working on the case. If they don’t then they are not too intelligent. Do you think the police are ignoring the case and not doing anything?
What do you want the cops to do? Should they be trekking thru the back lots, under bridges, along the river? They have to some information before they can begin searching. They need a place to start.
It is good for that community to come together. It is not my community even though I live and work in the city. If it was my son, their community would NOT come out and help me, sorry but that is how it works. Fitchburg is actually broken down into several communities composing of different races, religions and backgrounds. Each takes care of their own.
The individual that the news stated was a complete stranger and gave the father a couple of gifts is one of the biggest known and successful drug dealers in the city. The crowd surrounded him when he showed up as if he was a rock star. They look up to him and not the police. The father was more taken by finally getting a chance to meet him, he is well known. Drug dealers and gang members get more respect now than the police do.
This is why there are now more professional sports players are being linked as gang members. It is not their sports career that is impressive but their gang status and ranking. This is why many pro football players during 1st quarter introductions will announce their high school and not their college so their home boys will get some recognition.
Gangs are the newest community. Basketball players have to wear t-shirts now instead of tank tops to cover up their gang tattoos. They still belong to their gangs, they are lifers.
So don’t tell me it’s my community and that we all need to come together, it may be the same city but it is their community not mine.
I witnessed a young slow homeless kid tell a cop that the kid had his bike and the cop replied,"what the F do you want me to do" and the kid replied so I know I can't beat him so if I stab him is that OK? The next day the kid came by with a knife, he never mentioned his bike but I can guess what was in his sub consciences.
Dave got assaulted, a cop came and said to Dave, did you kick his ass? Dave said if I did you would be arresting me!
So, you are right and the FPD is just another gang.
And just so you are up on the real world outside of Fitchburg. The Mayor and Chief ALLWAYS come out to assure, to give empathy and support to the community. So what everyone was stating online and at the search is 100% true. the police could care less because the kid isn't from their clique.
This is why we need the FBI in Fitchburg. More outside people are beginning to get a good read on this city and its GOBN. And these people will claim to the writings of the Bible also.
Hey tell me what scripture it states that neighborhoods are suppose to split into groups? Good Ole Fitchburg. Keep your heads up in SHAME!
