I hope that we aren't just over reacting to that break in at the police station. The whole break in thing may have been a misunderstanding. Perhaps an off duty intoxicated lawman, for example; pulled off this heist. Perhaps in his intoxicated state; he knew that he was, in fact, at the police station but in his drunken stupor he had forgotten how to properly enter the fortress. Or, perhaps this is the shenanigan's of a prankster on the police department who was just trying to add a little fun to everyday life at the station house. We all know that not very long ago, Captain Kearns pointed a loaded revolver at a fellow officer and it was explained as being nothing more than a well intended prank. Perhaps that prankster Kearns is back to his fun loving ways and in his folly he, himself, is behind what appears to be an outright crime. That Kearns is a joker alright, so I would not put it past him.
At any rate, if we ARE going to install cameras over at the police station, I strongly recommend that a couple of cameras are installed in the Evidence Room, as well as near the entrances to the Evidence Room. That way, if drugs somehow vanish while they are stored there; we can all look at the footage and we can all figure out who the culprit or the culprits are.
If we are going to do it; lets do it right. Get cameras in the Evidence Room while we are doing the front lobby.
Fitchburg is a different kind of city. It's probably the only city where people are trying to break into jail instead of out. I can't blame them when you consider some of the residents around you. They are just thinking safety first.

Of course it would also be helpful if you weren't constantly posting outrageous and unfounded drivel about individual police officers or physically attacking them and firefighters in the street.

It would help if you weren't generally a waste of a human being. Other than that everything is ok.

No one should feel intimidated, is that the goal? This only causes problems. The police are not the authority as they are lawmen. They are equals with a job in law enforcement.
You are really lost!
No, they are the authority whether you like it or not.

Being assertive and intimidating will also save a cop's life when dealing with a hardened criminal that will take advantage of a cop who let's their guard down.

You think the local cops are not respectful? Have you ever seen a State Trooper in action? No questions asked, quick and without any incident they will arrest you.

They respect everyone but when a criminal is in their path the criminal loses all respect from the police and that is the way it should be.

I see that you don't compare criminals and people who are drug addicts and so on with the normal average working class citizen?

That is what society judges people on, the norm of the average citizen.

If it was the opposite then people would be getting arrested for mowing their lawns and having a summer barbeque.
