You have to understand that Darn tootin from West Newton (aka you know who)(aka chuggles) isn't all that bright. Just the mere fact that the victim's license had even been suspended blows his assumptions right out of the water. But what more could one expect from a barking dog that chases cop cars for excitement. Him and the "wanna be senator, wanna be mayor, wanna be city councilor etc. etc. etc." just keep sniffing and licking each other’s balls till the next cruiser comes by.

Lynch stop kidding yourself. You wanted the off duty cop to slap you down so you could try and sue. You complained about lack of street lights on campus so you could try and sue then when you got a light you complained about that. Your latest is snow plows plowing snow onto the sidewalk. I'm sure you believe somehow you can sue for that. The city is on to your endless complaints.
I wonder if the I-team followed you around for two weeks instead of Deneault what they would find?
You have issues and you are wrong many fronts. What you are stating would be an act of GOD and I do not have such powers. I haven't sued anyone genius!!

There are city issues, there is an obvious double standard. I am not the blogger who stated that some city councilors and the Mayors sidewalks were not cleared!!! This era of double standard is done for everyone to see as they do not even hide it anymore.

Take one incident and not this one. There was an accident where someone flipped a car and it happened to be a retired Firefighter, the Fire investigator stated it was icy that day as this happens. A similar accident happened involving an average citizen with no relations to the fire or police and it was stated, they need to slow down as no car should flip, the public needs to know to slow down in such inclement weather.

This current incident I am not commenting on as a young man was killed and I see that as a very tragic thing. May God bless his family in their time of such great loss. Stamos I would figure that you would have the dignity not to comment in a negative fashion under this thread but again I have to consider the source.

There are other threads were you could discuss particulars.

Needless to say, a EMT who is driving with a suspended license; or who let's her son drive with a permit while she herself does not have a valid license; has very little fear of having any trouble with the local law. It is common knowledge that the police do not hold themselves, their friends, their family members, nor Fire Department Workers/EMTs to the same standard that they hold the general public.
In other words; two completely different outcomes when it comes to driving with a suspended license. If you are simply a member of the general public with no ties whatsoever to the police department, you will face the full penalties for driving with a suspended license. But, if you HAVE ties to the police department (as a EMT does) you will most likely get a free pass....
Sorry bright eyes but it is just the opposite. Everyone likes firefighters/emts and think they are heroes but the police are not looked upon that way. Firefighters/emts earn more than the cops but get to eat, sleep and watch tv in a warm firehouse.

Cops may have to take a bad guys life to save innocent people but then they are scrutinized for their justified actions. Firefighters/emts never have to worry about this.

Firefighters/emts have the big houses but the cops only get suv and luxury vehicle for their wife. Cops get divorced and the firefighters/emts will end up with their ex wives and girlfriends.

Cops are usually on the emergency scene first but firefighters/emts will get all the credit. Cops have to live a private life. Their kids have to go to private schools, they cannot shop locally or else they may run into a thug they arrested before and they maybe followed home from the station at the end of their shift. Their homes may be egged at Halloween and their family maybe followed home too. But not the firefighters/emts. They have the freedom to be out and about.

Nobody brings the cops “thank you” lunch or dinners but the firehouses receive them all the time especially on holidays. The firefighters/emts always look like the good guys on tv shows but not the cops. The firefighters/emts have “Firehouse Fridays” on Fox 25 Boston but the cops don’t get anything.

Firefighters/emts get media coverage for all their charity work but not the cops.

Firefighters/emts work 2 days a week (24 hr. shifts)and devote time attending to their businesses on their days off but not the cops. Cops have to deal with the scumbags in the city. They have to go to court on a routine basis to defend themselves. But not the firefighters/emts.

So sorry it doesn’t work that way, cops do not hesitate laying down the law on a firefighter/emt.

Yes, I agree with all of your points.

I think that the reason the public looks at our Fire Department workers differently than they do the cops is that cops are writing tickets to people and arresting people; Firefighters aren't. And, the writing of tickets and the arresting of people; when it is applied unfairly and unevenly based on who you know; is sure to piss of any sane citizen....Jeepers, anyone who has spent anytime around cops knows damn well that they fix tickets for their friends and family members; they arrange for transporation if they stop a fellow officer and discover that he is slobbering drunk; etc etc. I could go on all day about the favortism that they shamelessly exploit. And then, you throw in the fact that many cops have direct ties to organized crime, which has been proven over and over again throughout history; plus you throw in the fact that there are countless factual examples of police wrong doing and police cover ups, and also when you pay attention to the endless amount of cops who are doing nothing whatsover at another lucrative paid detail; you quickly realize WHY many people view the police as overpaid hypocrites, some of which are nothing more than a criminal with a badge.

People just do not see the Firefighters in THAT SAME LIGHT...

Boston-Area Carpenters Treasurer Pleads Guilty; Sentenced

Submitted by Carl Horowitz on Fri, 08/12/2011 - 18:02

On April 19, Richard Dean, former treasurer of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners Local 275, pleaded guilty in the Trial Court of Massachusetts District Court Department to nine counts of larceny from the Newton union. He then was sentenced to one year probation and was ordered to make restitution in the amount of $15,374. The plea and sentencing follow a probe by the U.S. Labor Department's Office of Labor-Management Standards.

Stamos, you have never fessed up as to who YOU are.

Clearly, you have some sort of tie to law enforcement. As I mentioned before; even I had to wipe away some tears as I read your heartfelt apology to Chuckles The Cop and the Siomos clan, after it was discovered that the corporation that was the owner of JR's Pub's liquor license had not actually existed for well over a decade. Again, as I read your words here on F-burg Topix Forum, I had tears welling up in my eyes...to read the words of an individual such as yourself who normally pounds his/her chest here on F-burg Topix Forum; but was suddenly damn near blubbering in front of the Topix Forum Readers, along with God and the World, was a real shock to all of us.

So just who are you Stamos? My strong hunch is that you are involved with the Policemen's Union.....

All taxpayers believe that government workers are overpaid. Remember when the paper mills and Digital Corporation were around in the 70' and 80's. Those people were earning 3 times as much as the cops and firefighters. No one wanted to be a city worker then because of the low pay.

The paper workers and Digital employees were driving around in their big luxury cars and were the ones with their big homes back then. Oh well, times change and so does the job market. 401k's tanked. Need for paper decreased and technology became cheaper to produce.

No one complained back then about the salaries of cops/firefighters because everyone was earning more than them.

But the low class mentality that can only be found in Fitchburg is thriving. Other communities are laughing at us. It's the "if I can't have a professional career and great pay then why should they?" mentality.

In other communities the residents endorse and encourage each other to further advance themselves in salary and careers but not here in the burg where people get jealous and angry if someone is more successful than themselves.

Go to the North shore where all the high tech companies are (Teledyne, Boston Scientific, etc.) and it's just the opposite. In those communities cops/firefighters are still perceived as underpaid as the paper pushers in the tech companies are earning $100K-$300K annually.

Sometimes he appears to be Conry who rubber stamped any request by the FPD without asking questions even as corruption was discovered. Then other times he writes like the editor of the Sentinel who supports corruption and opposses free speech and goes against honest reporting.

Chuggles, I've never asked who you were. I was just curious why you've never denied it. And we've already been through who I'm NOT. Did you know that that cop killer Dohner also had women problems just like this Richard Dean guy? Is it no wonder why Dohner got himself fired from law enforcement? Could you just imagine the list of victims he'd have accumulated if allowed to stay on the LAPD force? And to think you actually believed this creep will always be remembered as a martyr and also considered him an honest man who just wanted to be a good cop. He will be remembered as a martyr alright, by cop killers and cop hating ex-cons. Talk about getting duped!
