What is Federal Aid? Like where does it come from? I always hear about companies or states recieving federal aid or waiting for federal aid when they need money after a hurricane or something.
#66 Oct 20, 2012
I would not say that. There are African Americans who are voting for Romney, including Oprah.
#67 Nov 8, 2012
Didn't take long for our President to get back to the being the same old useless President he was before the election.
Thank You President Obama...may we have another?
You are an absolute disgrace!!

Fact remains and it's been shown since Wednesday, not one of the GOP is considering the fact that it is your POLICY that was rejected Tuesday, plain and simple but still eluding the GOP.
We haven't "reached out to the LAtino's enough"
We need to "reach out to Women"
It's the "demographics"
We need to get "our message out better"
Our "Candidate wasn't Conservative enough".
No, NO, NO, NO and NO!!!!!!
It's you POLICIES that are being rejected and if you do not come to change those, you will suffer in oblivion!
It's YOU, it's the Republican Party, it's your ideological only belief systems. It's your resulting POLICY positions! They are wrong, and will be rejected again and again until you change them!

"Conservative pundit Charles Krauthammer realizes that some Republicans may be tempted to change course in the wake of another electoral defeat, but he counsels his party: "No reinvention when none is needed. Do conservatism but do it better." He said calls for moderation are "nonsense."
The country doesn't need two liberal parties. Yes, Republicans need to weed out candidates who talk like morons about rape. But this doesn't mean the country needs two pro-choice parties either. In fact, more women are pro-life than are pro-choice. The problem here for Republicans is not policy but delicacy -- speaking about culturally sensitive and philosophically complex issues with reflection and prudence.
Now, as far as polls are concerned, the notion that more American women oppose reproductive rights than support them is extremely dubious. Indeed, it's also worth noting that in this week's exit polls, pro-choice voters were a clear majority.
But even putting that aside, I'm fascinated by this notion that Republicans would be fine if only they could present their far-right views on women's health and reproductive rights with "delicacy." In Krauthammer's mind, his party's difficulties -- the gender gap crushed GOP candidates this year -- are really just a matter of spin. Women would be far more inclined to support the right-wing agenda, the argument goes, if only Republicans explained it better.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Krauthammer has no idea what he's talking about.
Since the 2010 midterms, Republican policymakers have fought to restrict contraception; cut off Planned Parenthood; require state-mandated, medically-unnecessary transvaginal ultrasounds; force physicians to lie to patients about abortion and breast cancer; limit equal-pay laws; delay the Violence Against Women Act; curtail reproductive rights at the state level at a historic level; insist that protections for impregnated rape victims were unnecessary; and do everything possible to overturn Roe v. Wade -- and on Tuesday, the party paid a price for it.
"Delicacy" was unlikely to make much of a difference."
It's nOT just the idiots who spout BS about Rape, it's in the blood of your ideology!

Try legislating to the will of the people and for the good of the country and not to the will of a few and for the good of the party!
#75 Nov 9, 2012
Let me rephrase that
Get your head out from under BMN, that's BS Mountain News
New slogan at BMN
"Math you do as a Republican to make yourself feel better"
#76 Nov 9, 2012
"Are you lying to yourself or the millions of people watching, cause you're lying".

You mean like this 'fact' that FDIC wiped your butt with?
JF States: WOW!! It is awesome that you can extract a page from a document...congrats. You fail to prove anything other than a regulation is in place that banks are responsible if they have in their employ, someone that did something that involves money. The article I cited stated that banks are dismissing ANYONE that has questionable history because they don't want to face a lawsuit later if that person is involved and it is determined that the bank didn't do "due diligence". Welcome to the world of Obama and over burdening regulations, along with a tort system that can make anyone guilty of the most ridiculous things.
My 'mommy' died five years ago. I wish she were still here, not to help me set you straight, but because I loved my mother and I miss her very much.
You are so typical of Romney supporters.....well, no, I'm doing just fine but I'm worried about everyone else who lost everything....would that be the 47% of takers you feel bad for or the 53% that 'haven't lost anything yet'???
#79 Nov 11, 2012
Really, I sound poor? Because you sound like an arrogant bastard. I guess $65k a year is poor now....okay, you're right, I'm poor.

What's your point? I own my own home, buy whatever I need cash, 2012 new car, limited model. Have the latest technology, a large savings account, zero credit card debt. Life couldn't be better, unless of course I was at your level, haha. I mean someone who goes by 'haha' surely must be a leader in their field. I'm not worthy, let me bow to your post! Does it make your low self esteem better when you put someone else down, haha? Does that make your ego light up? I bet it does. Well, listen up sweetie, don't you worry about me. I have a worry free life, difference is, I'm not arrogant. Arrogance is such an unattractive character trait.
And now I'm done with you. Have a great day!

Suck it in Not All the Facts- uless you don't believe in a Democratic system! 4 more years of having to listen to your Canadian bitching!! If you don't like it- GO BACK TO CANADA!!

Here cones the self righteous! Let it all out. This is exactly how the republicans feel.
This man here is disgustingly ignorant. He feel that wealth is what makes a person good,
Remember mother theresea? She could speak at least 12 languages as she was incredibly intelligent.
Bill and Hillary are extremely intelligent and wealthy but they have heart which the republicans do not.
Your cold heart has destroyed America. Our economy has suffered greatly do to your greed!
Let me give you a hypothetical example of what you label as successful.
Romneys Bain capital goes into a plastics factory in leominister. They state to the board, give us ten million dollars and we will make sure that your return is at least doubled if you follow our advice. They tell them look you clear 1 million a year, if you follow our advice then you will clear 5 million a year untaxed.
This is there advice. Lay off your 1000 employees. Close up shop and move your operations to India.
This will eliminate any and all employee benefit programs. In India you pay your workers 25 dollars a week. Not bad compared to the 300 a week that you were paying each of the thousand.
The savings is just beginning, purchase your molding machines from china at the same money in which you will have sold your old machines in leominister.
Pay no social security taxes, pay nothing in India as they do not have equal employment laws.
Now let me tell you this is not a science as much as it is un American and a violation of anti trust laws and emplyees discrimination laws of America.
But don't worry as we fill the republican coffers up so that they create and keep open loop holes that we have identified and utilize often. We are Bain capital...

What the hell do you know about business?? You can't even get a small business loan through the city for your hairbrained ideas.
You haven't got a clue.

Here's a few facts for you...I guess it would be OK for all of these companies to have gone belly up...huh?
NO TAXPAYER MONEY WAS USED TO HELP THESE COMPANIES!!!
Clear Channel, Dominos Pizza, Burger King, Sealy Corporation, Dunkin Donuts, Gymboree, Toys R Us, RJR Nabisco, Michaels Craft Store, Burlington Coat Factory and Staples were among the companies supported or shored up by Bain: Familiar names to all of us who shop. Many more Bain companies were preserved (and/or strengthened) without taxpayer dollars.
I guess investment firms do some wonderful work...at least the people in these companies have jobs because of BAIN CAPITAL.
