Again the city should have an open forum question session in an auditorium once a month to answer any questions the general public has.
But just the response here tells me it would be a waste of time because people will never understand how things are done and the reasons for it.
Some people can never accept an answer no matter what it is.
I can also see why the city should not have an open forum. In this case any information should only be for the tenants directly and not the general public.
The State Police were in the building before anyone was allowed to rule out any criminal act that may have been associated with fire. THIS PREVENTS ANYONE TO ENTER THAT COULD TO TAMPER WITH ANY EVIDENCE IF THERE IS EVIDENCE.
The State Police go through everything.
Where was the heaviest charring?(This is the origin of the fire).
The circuit breaker panels (possible electrical fire/overload).
Missing personal items that would usually be in a person's home (family photos, empty closets of clothes, computers, pets, medications) this is a sign of a person removing their non-replaceable items before starting a fire especially if they state they were not at home at the time of the fire!
Most MAJOR fires are automatically investigated by the State Police which arrive on scene as soon as the fire is extinguished to preserve evidence and prevent disrupting the scene any further.

In the attic??

WOW you seam like you know it all, so please full us in on everything.
How's Clark doing?? It's funny he does not show his face around Fitchburg. Must be living good now with that 4.1 million he walk away with. Did he buy some new stupid looking hats to wear?
So you are saying that the State Police and any of the other approximately 50 or more representatives from different agencies stole the jewelry?

The tenants and Clark were not allowed in directly after the fire was extinguished but these agencies were. Clark was only allowed in as the other tenants were allowed in on the same day.

The city had nothing to do with the investigation, the State Police did the investigation.

Everything in a building/home is connected to a circuit breaker. Attic lights, smoke detectors, attic ventilation fans. If there is an electrical fire or overload a circuit breaker will most likely trip. This shows me you have no knowledge of being a home owner.

Sorry, I don't know Clark but I do know you just crashed and burned, hahahahah.

Don't get mad, take this as a learning experience.

That's how much you know Clark and family were in the building just days after the fire.

Funny how you know so much, and didn't even live there.

I know the state police did the investigation. I was with my friends when they were spoken to. Where were you??

Clark did the right think by keeping everyone out. That way he had control over His building.

What happen is to bad for the tenets they should of been more prepared.

Ya But it doesn't cove personal things. How did the jewelry come up missing three days after the fire ?? It did not disappear from fire or water damage?? Who was the only one in the building??$4.1 million wasn't enough. Funny how this work out for the hero's that save everybody, and locked everyone out of the building OH Well
Athletic Supporter,

As usual, you are wrong again. Tenant Homeowners insurance covers valuables every time idiot!! If you have an unusual amount of jewelry, you can purchase additional protection for that as well as other things. If you have unusual jewelry, you have the insurer assess the value and add it to a schedule that protects the valuables.

If you have insurance, the mere fact that the jewelry is missing is the only fact needed...the insurance company would provide replacement and it is up to the law enforcement people to determine the rest. It doesn't matter if it was stolen.

All of the rest of your ranting is just normal for you.

Answer: The Straights
Explain That..........
Doesn't need an explanation...if each person had insurance coverage like they are supposed to, it is a moot point. If the jewelry was stolen, it is up to the authorities to sort that out like any other crime. You report it as stolen and let nature take its course...you don't keep bringing it up for years...that serves no purpose.

What do you mean by nature didn't start the fire? What are you saying? How did every know there was a fire? Where did the fire begin? Was the fire located at one spot? Did the fire begin around the entire top of the building?

How does a fire extend to the entire perimeter of a building on the roof? Was there an electrical line surrounding the entire edge? How does the edge of the entire building burn before any single area burns? There had to be a central location to this fire!

How did everyone get out? Who called the fire department? Was there a central alarm?

Speculation that Clark stole jewelry is not evidence that he did it. You have to have proof.

His financial status at the time is not evidence that he stole the jewelry or started the fire. Lots of people owe taxes. Doesn't mean you lose your home or building, it means the city places a lien on it, the taxes have to be paid before it is ever sold.

There can be 50-100 people or even more that make accusations that he started the fire and stole the jewelry. But that isn't proof.

There has to be evidence such as: gas can, actual video footage, accelerant, tampered electrical wiring and appliances and so on.

Where is the evidence? If he did it he would have to confess or there is no reason to open the investigation.

If I had one of these $500K-$1 million dollar condos I would have had insurance on everything.

Wow. So, Clark noticed fire before a smoke alarm went off, he called the fire department and knocked on all doors to get everyone out safely.
This fire does sound suspicious. This guy was financially strapped, owing the city tens of thousands, re-mortgaging, back on mortgage payments and now he is paid up and 4 Million in his pocket?
The fire department investigation cannot find the cause of the fire?
Having an open mind, if anyone was to start a fire to ruin this building and to have everyone get out safely then this is how you would do it.
If the fire had started anywhere else then it would have put lives in jeopardy and been able to be contained and building saved. What a convenient fire for Mr. Clark. It was like a once in a life time lottery hit for Mr. Clark.

The Mayor should offer him a room in the old city hall. Who knows, Mr. Clark may be able to bring more luck to the city of Fitchburg.

I can see the headlines now,"Fire destroys the old city hall, Mayor states that with the insurance money a new state of the art city hall can now be built at no extra cost to the city."
