We would like to know your opinions. Who is the elusive Darn Tooten? Is he really from Newton? Brighton? Fitchburg? Lunenburg?

He has been identified as many different people. Who could he be?

If I were to guess I would have to say that she is possibly, " Jacqueline Amico, the wife of Fitchburg police Detective David Amico ". Just a guess!!

I know who he is and he lives around here. I will not out him, because some you may be crazy stalkers. The ISP address is clearly where he works as he never posts on the weekend, not having internet access at home. Hey, who is this "Really" guy posting from Springfield? Not very imaginative.

I have been wondering the same thing for years now: just who in hell is this man or this woman?

I know that early on, he/she was posting from a West Newton IP address..then it was Boston..I believe that he/she was last known to be posting from Milford Mass when the name Darn Tooten from West Newton was stolen by Civil Service Supporter. After that happened, the man/woman who had been posting using Darn Tooten stopped posting while using that name. I also know that Darn Tooten always seemed to have a very clear understanding of what was and what was not happening as far as the FPD goes. Either he/she had a direct line to inside information; or he/she simply had a real sixth sense as far as our lawmen go.

I miss seeing that good ol' name of Darn Tooten here on this forum. I am reasonaby sure that many of our lawmen would love to know his/her true identity. And, I am reasonably sure that he/she is still around and will continue to not only monitor the actions of Fitchbug's blueboys; but will also be happy to share his/her viewpoints with the other Topix Forum Readders.

"Oh Please...Call the cops....Are you from Fitchburg? Half the time they are too busy with their hook up for their next night off....when the "wifey and kids" think he is just "going out with the guys!" Tell this to my daughter!!! After being held down by a grown woman who was telling another child to stomp on my daughters head!!! Guess what the cops did? NOTHING! Why? Their excuse......they didn't see it happen therefore they are not arresting her!... The REAL REASON.....one of their fellow officers is banging that womans best friend as a side job!!! So you tell me.....When should I call the cops and report violence in Fitchburg???? When I decide to give in to their little side job services! MOST OF FITCHBURG COPS ARE DIRTY.....THIS IS WHY FITCHBURG IS GOING DOWN!!! The upside....Before I leave.....I make one promise to these people they call cops who are supposed to keep these streets safe.....this is what it comes down to before you are all "concerned" about our streets? I will make sure the new Mayors' eyes are opened to this ridiculous police department. By the way, it even took up too much time to file a report on the incident!!! Imagine that!!! And yes....the people who did this to my daughter.....think they're "gangsta" too!! This is why citizens are tired of calling the cops. Some times we are better of handling things on our own..."

FITCHBURG The man stabbed to death Tuesday night on a damp city street was no stranger to violence.

"In 1998, Mr. Rodriguez, accompanied by correction officers, took the witness stand during a civil trial in U.S. District Court in Worcester involving a suit brought against members of the Fitchburg Police Department accused of violating the civil rights of a group of young men arrested in front of 110 Green St. in October 1993.

A jury acquitted the police in that case."
