I have to know....WHERE do you find out these fatcs? And PLEASE keep posting them. Sometimes I think the only TRUE news comes from these posts from individuals like you.....keep it up! If the TRUTH is considered "police bashing" then, BASH away!
Thanks for the kind words and for your endorsement. To answer your question, I pay attention. This information is around for all of us to absorb, if you get yourself tuned into it. I listen to anything that is said regarding law enforcement, both good and bad, from reliable sources. Not just in Fitchburg, or even in Mass, but nationwide. I read about it all the time. Anyone interested in reading the good as well as the bad about our nation's blueboys should visit the website www.officer.com . Then, click into "news". And, if you want to read about the astounding numbers regarding domestic violence being commited by law officers, or family members of law officers; up to and including domestic homicide, go visit the website www.beyondthebluewall.com . It will amaze and horrify you.

I have mentioned more than once, I am here to make sure that the other side of the law enforcement story is heard and understood by anyone who cares to read about it. I tell no lies and I do not distort the facts. And, I slander no one. That is why I am still around.

Again, I thank you for your support.

but the implication or statement, more accurately is saying it was one man. This statement implies that he prevented drug associated arrests. Could it be that the police are just sick and tired of arresting people and having them released by the local judges.

It's only right that they should be continued and if any wrong doings are proven, any pensions should be challenged.
Pick up the boston papers anyday and it seems someones pension is being pulled.
I agree. And any 'deal' made to retired and go quietly now rather than be prosecuted and fired later should be public information!

Darn tootin, If you have a better plan lets hear it. Other wise shut your mouth! I would love to run your criminal past. Please don't put me in the same boat with scum bag Cops throughout the country. Whats your career? Lets see how many scum bags are doing your job. If there were gun shots fired, you would tuck your tail between your pussy and run away and I would be running towards the gun fire.

Louney is the worse thing that ever happened to the city of Fitchburg. He destroyed the police dept, brought the moral down to it's knees and made everyone there feel like a piece of s___. Let the investigation continue and the people will find out exactly what he did. Money---what money ????

COME ON GIVE THE HARD WORKING GUYS OF THE FPD A BREAK..LOUNEY HAD BEEN A THORN IN A LOT OF GUYS SIDES FOR TOO MANY YEARS. LOUNEY LEFT THE DEPARTMENT BECAUSE OF OTHER THINGS LIKE MISAPPROPIATION OF FUNDS AND MISSING EQUIPMENT AND PREFORENTIAL TREATMENT OF A CIVILIAN OVER A POLICE OFFICER. HE RULED BY INTIMIDATON AND FEAR AND WAS ALWAYS RIGHT NO MATTER WHAT. I FOR ONE, AM HAPPY HE IS GONE, I AM SAD THAT I TOOK TO MAY YEARS TO GET RID OF A PERSON THAT MADE THE DEPARTMENT GO BACKWARDS AND NOT FORWARD. I SAY GOOD RIDDENS TO BAD RUBBISH...AFTER ONE OR TWO MORE ARE GONE THE DEPARTMENT CAN FINALLY MOVE FORWARD

Well its about time someone or something finally got this person (Louney) off the job. In the entire time that I worked at that department, I experienced him make a lot of decisions that bordered on craziness. Yes, he was smart, but he had no common sense. He should have never, never, been in a leadership position. Another typical example of a book worm.gon bad. Louney gave many of us cops a hard time for nothing and he is responsible for the department going backwards and not forward, for example not letting other agencies into the city, like the state drug unit. Ordering officers to stop investigations. Check around and you will find out its true. Talk to any officers and they all have horror stories about him.(how about smashing a police radio and not paying for it, cause he was mad) Louney was impressed with his own importance, he impressed no- one else. The atty general should also look into his actions of the past. Good Bye Markie..no one wants u back. KODOS to FPD, now its onward and upward.

This scum hurt this city more than anybody will ever realize. We had some hard working cops trying to make this city a better place to live. We needed help doing this by calling in outside agencies like the state police gang unit, ATF, state police Det. units, INS, and many others. Louney wanted all these agencies out of the city because he wanted complete control. Law enforcement knows that you all have to work together to get the job done. Louney was never a cop, so he just didn't know. Good bye scum !!!

This is the most accurate posting thus far, this is exactly how it went down.

This was a major event for the city and the PD. It's so very important for these outside agencies to put the past behind and please come back and work with us, thank you.

Don't jump to your own goofy little self serving conclusions, old pal. I am far from being a p#ssy. As a matter of fact, I do very well for myself when I am on a level playing field. Here on Topix Forum, the playing field is equal and level. And, I do just as well in the real world.

And, what would make you think that I have a criminal past? Can't I just be a concerned, honest, taxpaying citizen; and nothing more?

By the way folks, the website that I mentioned here on this link in my previous post is www.behindthebluewall.com . Not www.beyondthebluewall.com , as I posted. Sorry for the typo folks. But, the rest of my comments regarding this website are accurate. This website is being updated constantly with stories nationwide of domestic violence that is being committed by either law enforcement officers themselves, or family members of law enforcement officers. The domestic violence includes domestic homicide. Again folks, if you go to this factual website, I am reasonably sure that you will be astounded to learn how often this is happening; as well as the severity of the acts of crime.

Hi Retired FPD,

Thank You for the years of service you provided in our city. Based on posts on this forum and some information I recently received from an extremely reliable source, this ex police officer should have never been a police officer. Several people indicated that he was intrumental in preventing drug arrests in our city, and I can only hope that we can repair whatever damage may have occured with the outside help we had received from other agencies, so we can enlist their assistance in cleaning up our city.

It is quite disappointing that a person doing these sorts of things can exist within a police department. It kind of makes me wonder why this had not been done sooner with our new police chief in command, didn't he know what was happening in his department?. It seems he makes decisions that make no sense with regard to reducing crime and protecting law abiding people in Fitchburg.

Isn't a police officer supposed to focus on reducing crime in a city?

Maybe the correct thing is for the Attorney General to be investigating our police department?
