I cannot believe that the city of Leominster called a press conference to display this severing of its community's trust. My heart goes out for all African Americans who felt this blow today. I want to express to you today that there is a big segment of white citizens out here who have honest empathy today.

Equality took a hit today as Leominster sent us back to the 1950's where such behavior was also accepted and rewarded. Shame on Leominster officials.

I am sure that it will be evident on the faces of all black officers as well as African American citizens. This will be national news as our fellow African Americans were just disregarded.

It's dispicable what this police officer said! However, I trust that the city of Leominster is going to do things proper and legally. They'll have a hearing on it and if they determine that this police officer willfully used a racial slur against Carl Crawford, not only will he be fired, he's going to have a VERY difficult time getting a job as a police officer elsewhere.(He'll have to give this career up for something else.)

I feel that Leominister has no other way out from this controversy but to terminate his employment. I am in favor however to going along with his hire in erving,Ma as there are only two black residents but under the condition that these two residents vote in agreeance of his hire.

Mitt Romney could use this officer in a political skit wheras he calls Crawford and the officer in for a beer. He could have Schilling to convince Crawford to join in.

On a serious note, I agree, I cannot see this officer hired in too many cities but for all white ones.

You are an idiot! They need to take your liberty away falsly so then you'll shut your mouth!

The anti-defamation league also stated some other very strong opinions concerning the matter. I understand there comment as some Mayors and Chiefs would sit on their hands if faced with a situation and spend more time and energy assisting in a coverup.

So yes, I agree also that the speed in which it was handled is commendable and yes the Chief and the Mayor both addressed the situation sternly. I believe what others feel is that it should of been suspended without pay.

After reading the process it does seem fair to me. Everyone should have a hearing. After what they determined and the publics reaction I don't see them not terminating his employment.

There is more to this than you think. Just think of every African American officer and citizen in Leominster.

I understand this police officer is of Dominican desent, you assume he is white because of his last name also a few weeks ago you called the FPD racist because they fired a Lt. who was associated with a drug dealer that was recently arrested by the feds and also stayed at his house in the Dominican Republic. So teh FPD is racist for doing the right thing and the LPD supports racism for not firing this dominican cop? You are very quick to judge a situation when the police is involved, you spread rumors and make up stories and defame people without knowing all the facts. By law the LPD has to follow a procedure before firing any employee if it comes to that. They have laws to follow, the cop also has rights.

What?? I believe you have me confused with someone else.Yes, the LPD has to follow the law and ofcourse the officer has rights. I agree with both statements. Yes, Leominster was very careful in following the law. I feel that the officer should have a hearing.

No one is against any of these things. Everything is opinion. I believe that Leominster is leaning towards firering this officer. As I stated this officer may not be a bad guy. I feel that once it is confirmed that he meant a racial slur then the publics trust is severed.

The anti-defamation league is deeply concerned and the public within Leominster is concerned and upset. They are who matters. This officer broke no laws as it didn't occur in Massachusetts. It all comes down to the publics trust.

The words "public servant" say it all. This means that the public is ok with giving an officer arrest power.

Call me what you want, whatever makes you feel better.

I don't feel good tonight, I wish everyone well in life. God Bless everyone out here even those that hate me. Goodnight.

If I wake tomorrow I am going to work on being a kinder person to everyone. As of tonight, I have no enemies as I wish everyone well.

If I don't wake then I am sure that people out here will miss me. Whatever the case may be; I only ask everyone not to hate others. Take it easy ,enjoy and love life.

Oh really... Then why did you tell that cops niece just the opposite?

"It sounds like your uncle is a good person.I doubt that he will be fired even if they determine that he stated such comments. All everyone out here knows is that the word 'monday' was stated. How it was stated is up to the investigators. Even if they determine that they were racist statements then he probably will just be suspended.
It is good that you love and support your uncle. No one can take his pride away. If in fact he made this mistake then he will accept responsibility and will grow from the situation."
http://www.topix.com/forum/city/fitchburg-ma/...

It sounds more like you puked up some vile after your hate cop feeding frenzy! And maybe you should consider what every African American cop thinks about you after creating these threads and posing as an African American in your own effort to instill racial discourse within their union. And isn't that what you wanted to do when running for Mayor in Fitchburg? As in "bust" their union!

Again, is this any way for you to run a political campaign?

I don't have you confused with anyone. You did in fact accuse the FPD of being racist when they fired the Dominican Lt. With all the meds you take your mind must be in a fog.

He brings up his sexuality every chance he gets. He is just hoping someone says the wrong thing so he can get them charged with a hate crime and then sue the pants off of them. This is a guy who wants to support his household on lawsuits rather than going out and getting a real job. He is incredibly lazy.

I think he is off of his meds. I believe that is why we are seeing so much paranoia and anxiety. He has not been around for a few days. Hopefully he checked himself in somewhere. Or maybe his boyfriend "committed suicide" again.
