It seems like this guy didn't want to pay the oppressive city tax through partner Aldrich!

What is the fee over at city hall/aldrich towing? The city has become like Whitey Bulger. In S. Boston you had to pay an extra dollar per case of beer sold in southie to Bulger. In Fitchburg it is like $125 per tow and upwards.

Here's a crazy idea, DON'T GET YOUR CAR TOWED.

Lynch you are one funny guy, you call 911 to have cars towed and then you complain about the towing company towing cars? I just can't follow your thoughts.

No one is complaining about the towing company. If you remember Aldrich lost the last bid/first bid of the new policy.

I am strongly against the city's new policy. I believe the bid was $128 per tow paid to the city. I cannot see the legality of such a policy.

It sounds like this guy went over the deep end. Now he has two sets of towing charges and two sets of storage costs; looks like Aldridge has another car that they can keep.

Does the city get a cut from the keeping of the car?

Does anyone know the rate?

I thought the city got $120 ? When my car was towed the city allowed it to be held by the police until the fees rose. Who controls this situtation?

The city claims no responsibility for the car but they collect a profit off its capture and tow to the storage facility. And then they hold a car when they feel like harrassing certain people who file complaints. Who is in charge?

The Mayor has no authority stance, the Mayor holds no one accountable. When such a situation is the reality then the Mayor loses all controls.

She is concerned with ONE thing ONLY, her political banner and a possible employment at FSU! She has done NOTHING for the people of Fitchburg,FACT!

Drugs are beginning to over run the city again, gangs are on the rise, businesses are leaving and closing. When is does any of this begin to concern a Mayor who is out for herself ONLY and a city council who runs on ink for the rubber stamps after they powder the Mayors bum after changing her diaper??

You make zero sense. First of all you complain that the police had your car towed, that's never happened in my family which means you broke the laws. You don't want to pay the fee's involved but you expect the city to give you money for a roof? Yeah like the city just has money laying around. Smarten up.

Never happened to anyone in your family? File a complaint with the Mayor against a city employee and you may just be treated like I was!!!!!

When you raise these injustices that I went through, they regurgitate in my throat! Wow, it was completely criminal against me ,huh?

Your car wasn't towed under the new contract awarded to Aldrich. Aldrich loses money due to paying for the tow truck operator, fuel, insurance. He states he only makes money if he get the autobody repair job such as in a car accident.

Again, DON'T HAVE YOUR CAR TOWED IN THE FIRST PLACE !

This is the point exactly. Aldrich doesn't make money off the tow unless it gets the autobody work. Your explanation which I heard before is the reason that something is seriously wrong with this bidding process.

It just doesn't seem right!

Sorry but what doesn't seem right is parking your car where you know it will be towed and then crying about it.

All city contracts go to the highest bidder. Medstar Ambulance gives the city $440,000 per year for the city contract.

What is seriously wrong?
