Looks like someone missed a few days of school.

We're a Republic, always have been, always will be. We weren't set up as a Democracy.

Thanks for playing and we've got some wonderful parting gifts for you.

Doesn't matter what is said, doesn't matter what is thought, doesn't matter if it is their IDEA in the first place, THEY OPPOSE IT!!!!!
Now, you've all been arguing the reverse of what anyone says for so long your stuck in corners everywhere cause you can't take a stand on anything, anywhere at any time!
You're on both sides of every issue, that's why your own history is strangling you!!!!
WHERE IS YOUR REPLACEMENT FOR THE ACA???????
Thats easy...we need no replacement for the ACA. Kill it and keep our government from inserting itself into matters that are handled best by a free economic system. I didn't agree with mandatory health insurance in massachusetts, and it should never become mandatory in our country either.

If you support that, then you would also support government taking over everything else...this is a slippery slope where government will want to control more and more of our lives...shouldn't be allowed.

What are the 3 separate branches that make up our Government and their powers!

If the ACA/Obamacare is the LAW then how can President Obama make exemptions and delay the law that was passed?

Actually it's all of America who have lost. How many lies did the people believe when Obama was campaigning? The only semi true thing he said was the Government will be transparent. Well yes now he just blatently lies right to the peoples faces. This has been the worst administration in history and that's why all of the other rats have been jumping ship on him.

Heard the Tea baggers today, they don't really GAS about the ACA specifically, they just want to shut the Government down (as Factless does), "Shut er down, push the reset button, start all over" he said!

OK great, we shut it down, how far back do you want to go? Tea Baggers want to go all the way back to Colonial days, you know, tri-corner hats, felt tip pens, scrolls and horse and buggy.

Well, sorry to inform you, we can't do that, can't turn back the hands of time and make believe the 19th, 20th and 21st century didn't happen, life doesn't work that way. You're going to have to suck that up!

So OK fine, how far back? Here's what we CAN do, your problem is that we spend more money than we have right? FActless just said this, can't afford to keep our Government running right now correct?

But, one thing to remember, YOU don't get to choose in my plan, everyone gets treated exactly the same, no fasvoritism for anyone, LEFT, RIGHT or CENTER, no exeptions, we repeal every Law that has affected either spending or revenue until we get to a balanced budget, a surplus when we can then just pay down all the debt and be spending less than we are taking in, everyone on-board so far??

Let's begin with repealing the ACA OK? Enacted in 2009, work backwards from there, we repeal everything that effects either spending or revenue till we're balanced.

We repeal
Everything put in since Obama became President, yeah say the tea baggers!

Next, we begin repealing everything Bush did in 8 years, right, till we're balanced and we all know, there was NO BALANCE IN THE BUSH YEARS!

We repeal
Wall Street bailout
Medicare Part D
Clean Water Act
Clean Air Act
Homeland Security! After all, this is the biggest bloated behemoth Government program enacted in many, many years! 700 Billion a year saved!
Oops, the Pentagon also increased it's budgets at that time from 350 Billion a year to 700 Billion a year, WE REPEAL THAT back to 350 B a year.
Bush Tax cuts, 700 Billion a year for 12 years.
NSA syping apparatus

Guess where we end up genius Tea Baggers...The end of Bill Clinton's Presidency where we actually spent less than we were taking in and HAD A SURPLUS and could pay off the debt entirely!

Everybody on-board?

If only you had access to a piece of technology that was then connected, somehow, to a network of computers and servers, an Internet if you will. Then, and only then, could you do your own research. But chances are you don't have access to such magical and mysterious technology.

I already know, now it's your turn, explain how the US is not actually a Democracy but is a Republic.

Your hyperbole and rhetoric are fun, explain it for us, it's your claim, prove it!

I can provre in one sentance that we're a deomocracy, you and or the meathead who can't spell his moniker so he changed it are arguing we're a Republic, explain your stance!

Here's why you like the pledge so much, it was written for children!

"The Pledge of Allegiance was written in August 1892 by Francis Bellamy (18551931), who was a Baptist minister, a Christian socialist,[3][4] and the cousin of socialist utopian novelist Edward Bellamy (18501898). The original "Pledge of Allegiance" was published in the September 8 issue of the popular children's magazine"

At some point maybe you'll also explain, why it matters? You can call it the people REpublic of China, you can call it an indirect representative Democracy, you can call it dead in the water cause you shut it down, what does it matter what you call it?!!?/

This is the question I'd like answered:

What changes if we all call it a Republic and stop calling it a Democracy??

further from good ole WIKI...

The full name of the republic is "The United States of America". No other name appears in the Constitution, and this is the name that appears on money, in treaties, and in legal cases to which it is a party.

Hey Okie Dokie...you're always ragging about people not inline with our constitution...our constitution says we are a republic dumb ass.

As if I'm not aware of the chew toy the Tea Baggers have been trying to make hay with for years now, hence all the rightwing noise machine articles that come up on the google. Is Wiki reference wsupposed to impress us all replacing actual knowledge?

How about changing it to too stupid!!!

"It should be noted that every democracy is a republic, but not every republic is a democracy. Some countries are republics, but are not considered democracies. Examples include Nazi Germany, the People's Republic of China, the Democratic People's Republic of [North] Korea, and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. While not "democratic" countries from a "Western" point of view, they are or were technically republics, since they had no monarchs and even had elections. However, it's also a matter of perception- for example, North Korea calls itself a "democratic people's republic" and tries to brainwash its people into believing that, but from an outside point of view, it is arguably the most undemocratic country in the world."

Sooooooo, are we
a) A Republic that's NOT A DEMOCRACY like say the above mentions, NAzi Germany, China or North Korea?

Or

b) A Republic that is also a Representative Democracy?

THere's only 2 choices, pick one idiots!

Let's call it a Rabbit hole, you people think it's fun when others chase you down them.

Go right ahead. call this a Republic for all I care, NOW WHAT?

What changes?

Obviously, the children are running the asylum here!!
