Slightly off topic, I watched 60 Minutes last night and they had a segment on the Disability Benefit business/crisis. The fund is running out and more people are using it as a last resort when their unemployment benefits run out. We've known that, but what I didn't know is there is a phrase in the requirements that we should be aware of that states that person is "unable to do any other job." If that is the case, I don't understand how someone like Lynch can run for any political office without losing his disability benefit? By throwing his hat in the ring he is stating he is capable of doing that job, even a part time job whether or not he wins, thusly invalidating his ability to collect. AmIright?

It's no fun being poor, perhaps you should motivate yourself to become a productive and tax paying member of society. Then your rants will carry some weight. As a welfare receiving gadfly you've got no right to complain about anything. Leave that to the people that enable your lazy lifestyle.
Right, your post is completely irrelevant since I do work ignorant Tea brain. It's your imagination that's failing you.

BTW: Hyundai does not qualify as a European Automobile!

If any of you really were concerned for waste fraud and abuse, you'd be posting things like this!

"Republicans who get big farm subsidies but voted to slash food stamps in the current farm bill. There are 14 Republicans who have gotten a combined $7.2 million in farm subsidies since 2004, but voted to cut the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program to the bone; only one of the 14 then voted against the version of the bill that removed SNAP entirely.

“It’s outrageous that some members of Congress feel it is OK to vote for their own taxpayer subsidies but against critical nutrition assistance for 47 million Americans,”[Democratic Rep. George] Miller said.“It’s bad enough that the House of Representatives didn’t pass a farm bill that included authorization for sorely needed nutrition programs, but to see members of Congress approving their own benefits at the expense of the working poor is a new low, even for this Congress.”
The most outstanding hypocrite hitting the lowest low, of course, is Tennessee Rep. Stephen Fincher, who's gotten $3.5 million in subsidies over the years, but is on a pseudo-biblical crusade against SNAP—a program 22 percent of the people in his home county rely on. But he has company in his "farm bill money for me but not for thee" voting record, including California's Rep. Doug LaMalfa, who's gotten $1.7 million in farm subsidies."

Factual, provable and relevant to waste fraud and abuse!!!!!

But all you can muster is ranting on ficticious people, based on your imagination, who are not factually provably relevant!!

MEANING, none of you really GAS about waste, fraud and abuse, only fabricating negative stories, like Faux Snews tools that you are!!!

Keep crying. Those of us who can afford to laugh, are. And at your expense. The government shut down is inconsequential to our lives. You, on the other hand, need the entitlements just to survive.

You continue to claim that Republicans are OK with waste and abuse by insisting that the Farm Bill is waste and abuse...prove it. The Republicans are attempting to separate the bills introduced for Food Stamps and the Farm Bill because the Senate (you know, the Democrats) continue to want those two bills glued together.

Republicans contend there isn't any way to make meaningful change on a Farm Bill because 80% of the bill is really a Food Stamp Bill.

Maybe if you stop spitting your constant "Republicans are Poison" venom long enough, you might see the truth...not likely, but it is a thought.

One of the major problems with the way our bills are introduced and passed as laws is this concept of bundling things together...it makes absolutely no sense other than politically to have Food Stamps and Farm legislation bundled together!!

Sorry I didn't have another response sooner. I had to listen to my nieces story about her first kiss at her first day of school today. I'm sure you remember your first kiss and the boys name. So back to the point, how are people like you suffering if you have a computer and an internet connection? Why do you feel I have to pay for you?

See Skippy, you spelled suffering as suffeering. I understood what you were saying. Then again, I'm not a window licker like you.

How long have you been collecting welfare? Lifelong or did you go on disability due to obesity and/or drug addiction? Could be mental health issues too, you do preset yourself as unhinged on Topix.

Your boy Obama is the one who won't negotiate. The republicans have offered to work across the aisle but it's Obama's way or no way.

Now that's leadership you can believe in.

"Really Rachael" ran for office a few years back. She was told that she would lose her disability benefits and her government paid apartment at the St.Joseph's House on Daniels street if she continued to run for office. It was a conflict of interest and against the ethic laws.

I guess no one has told has ever approached or told Lynch this.

She immediately dropped out of the race.

Lets take a moment and remember our past nut case:

Lets not forget about our city nut who lit his father on fire when he was younger. Larry Smart, the cuckoo who fell out of the nest.

He is mentally disabled and was also told he would lose all benefits if he continued to run for office. Being a nut he still ran and got 7 votes.

In the end they figured he could not comprehend that he was violating conflict of interest and ethic laws.

He was able to keep his disability benefits and his subsidized apartment downtown at Wallace Towers on Wallace Ave.

The big question is why do these bloggers on disability feel they have to run for office?

First we had Larry Smart.
Second we had Really Rachel.

Now we have Lynch.

Maybe they cannot separate the online world from reality.

I was there when the city and the disability commission explained to Really Rachael that by running for office she is stating that she is able to hold a job and she cannot receive any further disability benefits.

The disability commission takes this very serious because it is a conflict of interest and against the ethic laws but mainly it gives people who are on disability the image that they can actually work and do not want to. It actually hurts disabled people that CANNOT work due to health problems.

Do not confuse this with the disability act. That is for equal hiring of disabled people that can prove they can do a job and accommodations will have to be made to a certain extent for them BUT they are not on disability or receive disability benefits. That would be double dipping. It is against the law.

This is most likely an oversight on whoever is in charge of policing the candidates. I am sure no one has notified the disability commission either.

Maybe it is time for someone to report Lynch. Running for office is the same as saying I can hold a job.

Having a disability doesn't mean you can't be in politics. Look at Obama, he's President and he doesn't even have a brain.

You don't see much out of the Dems anymore because the Reps are giving them a fair azz whoopin. People like myself are tired of giving up half my money so people like Lynch and Gomez can sit in his moms basement munching on Doritos and playing Donkey Kong.
