Look at this thievery! Here is a quote from that case that you mentioned!<quoted text>
You know, "the problem with the Honor System" is not only an issue in Fitchburg, and there are other ways of finding out what really happened without going to the FBI. It happened in my city too:
WORCESTER A grand jury has concluded its investigation into allegations raised in 2008 by Police Chief Gary J. Gemme that several city police officers fraudulently manipulated their work schedules to earn overtime while testifying in court.
"Officers maintain the practice of taking a vacation day or other justifiable time off on a scheduled court appearance day, then putting in for time-and-a-half pay for the appearance time is longstanding, and was particularly prevalent among officers working narcotics cases."
They will manipulate everything and anything they can! So they did this on purpose; it is all too funny!
Let me state; if you did this in any other profession; you would be FIRED!
Tascas case is still more criminal as it involved changing the entry into the books and using "mind time". Tasca committed Grand Larceny. He now claims that he only did it for these two weeks. His lawyer must of told him "stop confessing"! I am sure if he had the password, he was changing the books more than this one time! Imagine under Cronin and Kearns he must of been changing them all the time!
There is deffinitely more to uncover! Who has the passwords! What amount of accrued comp time do these guys have? What years did they take "no vacation" time? LMFAO
The worcester case is extremely interesting but it is like comparing apples and oranges!!
