The Board of Selectmen violated the state's Open Meeting Law last year when it conducted business during a meeting that was not posted, according to a ruling from the Attorney General's Office.

I think Lillian Whitney needs to get a life other than making a big deal out of nothing. The way I understood this was that there was not enough selectmen to vote to give a one day liquor license so they decided to do it at a posted meeting that night. The first meeting was posted with all the correct info and the second one was also except it didn't mention the liquor license. Was this really an issue for the AG? And Mr Ingerson you said you were happy that the AG responded in such a stern way but if you read any other of their findings it's all worded the same. I'm sure they are probably shaking their heads at Ashby and Mrs Whitney for wasting their time over nothing.

As usual, Mrs. Whitney is whistle blowing at nothing. She really needs a hobby other than trying to start problems. This is all over a one day liquor license. WHO CARES?

They had no choice to review it if she filed a complaint but my point is why waste everyone's time because the selectmen, with good intentions, signed a one day liquor license 4 hours later than posted. Lillian's a joke. I wonder if we will see the same type of policing if her friend Martha Svedberg wins the other selectman seat. She is the secretary of current selectman Steven Ingerson who promised to be so open and honest. I'm not even sure if it's legal for 2 out of 3 selectman work in the same small business 8 hours a day and one signs a paycheck for the other. The AG's office might be very busy.

So it's ok to break the law?

Depending on who you are you can break the law. Lt. Murray still has a drivers license. Tim Cahill paid $100,000 cash to skate by to have charges dropped. And the list goes on and on and on!!!!!

What I said was your mother wasted everyone's time over a simple liquor license that was posted for that day, but voted on a few hours later. As usual she was just trying to make something out of nothing. I can't wait to see what she does about the Svedberg/Ingerson issue. Then we'll see if she is really all about honesty and transparency or she just hated a certain few people in office.

And don't forget your own self on your list. You got 2 1/2 years probation when you should have done a year in Cedar Junction.

Cheryl, never happened did it? What ever happened to the "dangerous hearing"?? Every connection was utilized as evidenced was purposefully destroyed after a judge ordered it to be held!

Open up a can of worms so we all can finally get to the bottom/truth of what happened!!!!!!

What happened is that all the good ole boys were exposed for everyone to see; now we just need an AG with some Constitutional NUTS to hold all of them accountable!!!!

Lynch, you could post under any name you want and people will always be able to tell its you. No one else is that crazy. And no one else avoids responsibility like you. And most importantly, despite all of your crap, you are still on probation.

Didn't you break the law? I don't get it. You are free and really should have gotten a life sentence. You don't have any credibility so no matter what you say nobody is ever going to take you seriously.

If I was in your shoes with your criminal history I wouldn't say a word and try to blend in. Obviously you were a bad guy in the past so why draw attention to yourself now?

It just doesn't make sense?

This has nothing to do with Ashby and the subject at hand. Why can't you post in the thousands of forums having to do with Lynch and not here.

I figure she's still mad about everyone voting her out as treasurer and voting Kate Stacy in. She's been attacking anyone and everyone in Ashby government since then. Your mother should just get over it and move on. Let people do their jobs. She just makes Ashby look like a joke and embarasses herself while doing it.
