To be honest. What has every Fitchburg citizen received from the city? We all received less services, more guns, gangs, drugs and heavier fees and taxes!

When does it stop? Seriously? When do we really represent the people of Fitchburgs' interests? Trash fees are higher.

Every citizen in Fitchburg has paid the price both financially and with an unsafe neighborhood.

I would walk around Fitchburg sometimes at 2-3:00am when I couldn't sleep or just needed to get out. I wouldn't walk around Fitchburg as it gets dark now. It is very dangerous now and it isn't a joke.

Every citizen is paying double now and receiving much less!!!! This is a FACT! It would be easier to swallow if the streets were safe but they are much worse and extremely dangerous if not deadly!

All jokes aside, forget about hating me for a moment. This is a problem!

And what has the city done for our elder citizens? NOTHING! And it is getting old to continue to watch this without saying something!!

Every politician wants the elderly's vote but what have they done for these elders? NOTHING! It is time that our representatives did something for our elders, PERIOD! Make it happen!

We have a full time attorney, order him to uncover all the facts and all the players concerning all these projects that took place in Fitchburg and Leominster and YES file suit against them and their insurance companies! These guys carry massive insurance policies for this such reason. There is liability here and it isn't the Fitchburg citizen!!!!!

The citizens pay this attorneys salary as well as the Mayors and all our reps. The citizens of Fitchburg got the shaft and that you cannot argue against! I am just one out of 40,000 plus!

Are you sure you understand the topology of the specific geography? You're a civil engineer from which school, again?

<quoted text>It has a long way to go before it becomes a reality. The voters will have too be sold on it first. You're also right, the elderly will be spending all their church bingo money and whatever else they can scrounge for the slots if it becomes a reality. They're like flies on shit when it comes to the one arm bandits.
Stamos, who are you to opine on gambling issues?

I guess it would be like if one of those high-faluting casino developers made promises to the community about all the windfalls there were going to be,(sort of like a bet?) and there ended up being no real payoff to the public.

That would be like welching on a bet, wouldn't it?

I agree, my boyfriend who doesn't live with me but does spend the nights and weekends at my place (wink) and who is not the father of my kids (wink)works a professional job and earns around $140K a year as a construction company manager.
I live in a Section 8 funded apartment, all utilities paid for. My boyfriend lets me use his BMW since I cannot afford to have a car (wink). He owns a new Ford Heavy duty pickup so he can go to the job sites.
I usually just go jogging around the cemetery along Electric Ave. and then some gym time at Global fitness on Summer St. and then off to do some shopping at Macy's while my boyfriend is at work as my kids are in the government paid day care program. This allows me the freedom to do as I please everyday. My kids get picked up and dropped off for free by all those maroon van pool vans that you see everywhere.
Every so often my boyfriend will invite me (wink) to go on trips to Puerto Rico, St.Thomas, St.Lucia, Hawaii and so on.
My boyfriend was able to bank all of his income for the past 10 years because visiting me he did not have any expenses (wink).
So now my boyfriend is looking to buy a home on the Cape with beachfront property for around $800K.
So hopefully in a year I won't be on welfare any longer and I will live and marry him and he will legally adopt my kids (wink).
I could not have done it without the assistance from the EBT program.
