You were most likely denied because of your past criminal history, your on disability. Big deal, you submitted a business plan. It's obvious that other, more educated and experienced people did not believe your plan would work. The city needs to look out for whats best for Fitchburg and it's citizens.

The only statement in his plan that had any teeth was school uniforms, and that wasn't his idea. He said he's not on disability, so how does he support himself, if not under the table?

It is mentioned, all over this forum that he does indeed collect SS benefits. He doen't deny it either.

The article said that he said he is not on disability. Read it again. Something doesn't add up.

He's a proven habitual liar and his inner circle (see link below) has turned on him an exposed him working under the table and collecting SS. If I were to take a guess he doesn't want to publicly admit it because he could be charged with fraud if he opens up that can of worms. And think about it, do you think a Mayoral candidate would want to make public that they are collecting food stamps and SS through a local newspaper interview just weeks before the poles open?

"You have no mortgage, because your mother owns the hosue outright. You work under the table in addition to your social security and it has been like pulling teeth to get you to repay me what you owe me. You should be absolutely ashamed.
And speaking of the car. Dave removed all my cds and the ones belonging to my daughter and refused to return them. He took the kicker out of the trunk and sold it to Josh. It was not his to sell I PAID FOR THAT!"
http://www.topix.com/forum/city/fitchburg-ma/...

And apparently he and his boyfriend are also living together in his mothers house and collecting $200 each in food stamps. Do you honestly think he's paying his mother rent when he can't even pay his own personal debt to someone who was supposedly a friend.

What he said in the article and what he is really doing are to different things. He has not denied collecting benefits on these forums. He has medical issues and can't work. He is either collecting SSI or Welfare. I highly doubt he is making a dime from selling business plans. He also asks for money for his campaign sent directly to is home and check written directly to him.

It is nice to see your little group of haters out here. The city must be in tough shape if I am willing to go through this abuse just to get the citizen's voice out there!

The city council could not even pass language that would put the ballot question concerning road repairs for the citizens to vote on!

They fail to understand that it is all about respecting the citizens voice. Let the citizen vote on the issue as it shows them that you respect their voice!

One of the major reasons why the citizens are mad a Mayor Wong over the lights is due to the fact that she never mentions the "citizen's sacrifice"! The citizen's are given no credit or respect for their sacrifice, it is as if they don't exist to the Mayor and the city council. This is the disconnect!

If I don't make it in the finale two, I hope that we have a good write in candidate, maybe I'll run as a write in as I need a couple more months to get things going on the campaign.

I agree that this article was not written to explain my stances so I encourage all to go to FATV and view some of my other stances and proposals.

I will have to disagree. The council and Mayor are elected by the people to represent them because they have a better understanding of the city's finances and priorities. Let me explain this in a way you might understand. You might want your mom to buy you a new X-Box. But after your mom pays all of her bills she only has $25 in the bank. Now if the kids were making the decision they would spend the money for the X-Box but then have no electricity to use it. That's why you can't just give people everything they ask for. I hope that helped.

The citizens are not mad at the Mayor, they are mad at the current situations that led her to make these tough and unpopular decsions. You still haven't answered questions regarding the firing of the FPD. What are you going to do for public safety in the meantime?, how are you going to pay for new officers? Do you relize its takes a good year to get an officer out on the street. You have all these idiotic proposals but know knowledge of how to implement them or pay for them. You think your the first person to propose that the public school students wear uniforms? It won't happen, the ACLU has already made sure of that. As a voter a canidates past is an issue, a big issue. I don't care how long ago it was. You committed a felony that resulted in some seriour prison time. If you really believe that the voters will over look your past history then you are alot dumber than I thought.

I'm happy to simplify politics for those who need analogies. Let's consider you and the other children vote to get the X-Box and mom agrees. But there will have to be conditions to afford it. You can't receive an allowance anymore. There won't be any money for new school clothes or winter clothes so if it snows to bad no money for a shovel, a jacket, hat and mittens. We won't have money for food but you have your X-Box. I don't understand your logic. The economy is in the tank. There are no new jobs being created and businesses are shutting down and leaving. The housing market is going down the tube and property values are dropping. So where will all of the money come from? Those of us who work budget ourselves and appreciate the value of a dollar. There are to many free loaders in the burg to produce the revenue the city needs.

So if the Mayor goes to the city council to recieve $70,000 for extra patrols on Main st; should SOMEONE follow the expenditures of that money? There was an investigator that was paid over $5,000 from the city budget also, he discovered that someone was changing journal entry postings in order to pay themselves for OT that "he kept in his own head for " 11 yrs. And he states "the entire administration has been doing this for years"!

$70,000 can buy a lot of X Boxes! So could $5,000 and the list goes onward!$70,000 could have opened the library!

I have actually given the Mayor an opening. And let me tell you that the Mayor states she got the dispatcher Union to agree to a total of "6" days off and a much lower salary! The FPD union contract that "MAYOR WONG" signed gives the FPD Union "53" days off a year!

So ask the Mayor what did cutting the dispatcher Union down to "6" total days off a year do for the city expenses??? So are you telling me that cutting the dispatcher Union down to "6" days will save the city money but cutting the FPD Union "53" days off will not save the city money?? It is the same concept!

I am the candidate who will bring change to Fitchburg which in turn will make Fitchburg a safer and better place to live. If you decide to vote for "the same old, same old" then this is your choice! I will make the stances that these "rubber stampers" will not! I will bring new faces to all the city boards, some will stay of course but many must go.

Let me tell you that Fitchburg was suffering economically and with a high crime rate while the state of Massachuisetts was in great economic shape with a low crime rate in 2000and other years. Chief Demoura stated "crime has risen but when the economy gets better we will see less crime"! Well this is not what history has shown for Fitchburg!

So in essence what is he stating? That there is no need for the "Chiefs" position at all? Public safety is concern number one!

So is the answer,"just cut off social services"? Or wait for the Mayor to daintily create one job at a time like she has proposed? Then to watch that same one job dissapear?

We need to "think outside of the box"! Without better access into Fitchburg it will remain "jobless"! Property values will continue to decrease.

Fitchburg can no longer continue to remain the "same old, same old way of doing business! The President is approving infrastructure projects as he is giving out Federal grants for such projects.

I am pro-business! I will market Fitchburg better to every big business. At the same time we must pressure our law makers into passing pro-American jobs bills and anti-outsourcing legislation!

In the meantime we need to cut the cost of doing business here in Fitchburg! We need to fix the FPD organization and management. Do you understand that insurance companies know exactly how many cruisers are on duty at any given time? These insurance companies track this information in order to set rates! This goes for business insurance, home insurance and car insurance rates!!!

"53" days off a year will NEVER accomplish public safety needs!!! There are thousands of very professional officers that have been laid off. If the city needs to fire the entire department then it can rehire 50% of them by law.

Why can't you just answer the f'n question? How are you going handle public saftey if you fire the FPD? How are you going to pay outside agencies if they have to fill the gaps? how are you going replace the fired officers? how are you going pay for the lawsuits. Are you saying that Fitchburg would be better to have a Mayor, who collects welfare, has a three page rap sheet, no advanced college degree's, no law enforcement experiance run the police department. Will you do yourself and the citizens of Fitchburg a favor and drop out of the race now. This is serious business which you have no right being involved in. You have serious mental and personal issues that you need to deal with. Fitchburg needs a leader a person they can trust will make the tough decsions, not some angry @ssH0le that is in the mist of a court case, child custody drama and what BS you have going on. Your the wrong person for the job. I commend the Sentinel in printing this article, now the citizens will know who you really are.

The President has a proposal to create jobs. First off numnuts, Congress has to approve it. The second big issue is MONEY,$300 billion, where is that coming from? Even if this passes which I doubt because the money isn't there and also his other past job creation idea's have been failures these jobs will not be for new projects but for repairs to roads and bridges. I can assure you grants will not be given to build your "connector to nowhere". Also these jobs are temporary. This job creation plan of his is noting more than a desperate, last ditch effort to get support for his re-election. He has failed on the economy, he is to late. Time for new blood and ideas and I don't mean YOU.

I don't commend the S&E for this article I condemn them. Candidates should produce financial statements and tax returns. This reporting is fact less and shoddy at best. I'd like to know what each candidates source of income is and occupations. It's easy to say I will do this or that but if you have no experience or proven ability let the public be informed.

For one, I have advanced college courses under my belt. I graduated with high honors. I have great marketing skills. I would be a better Mayor than Wong and/or Solomito!

I have great ideas, I am a good listener. The court case is 100% felonious BS. The child custody drama is not my personal situation as I have offered my help.

The Sentinel has been a pro-FPD paper for awhile now since the new editor. They are counterproductive.

Now, I will answer your question, What are we going to do for public safety if all the FPD are fired. Let me first ask you if you could take a guess as to what the answer might be!

There are many options. First we could hire State troopers until we hired the appropiate number of officers needed. Then we make an offer of employment to 50% of the current force. If they formulate another union then be it.

The governor and the FBI may need to step in to assist. We may need to go into recievership for a few months.

You have no clue as to what is going on within the FPD. There are serious unfixable problems within the FPD. No one owes these guys that act corrupt a thing! They do not have a right to act corrupt! We need to put checks and balances in place and if they don't follow the rules; OUT THEY GO! I bet they will follow the rules!

I would make the best Mayor that Fitchburg has had in a long time, FACT!!!

WOW, advanced college courses! This is how your going to handle public safety? Your so sure the SP have the resources to cover Fitchburg? You say Fitchburg will have to go into receivership for a few months? you sound like that isn't a big deal. You need to put down the crack pipe and get into rehab, NOW. You make no sense.
