This must be a misprint. According to Lynch the Loon and You Know Who the FPD doesn't engage in this type of activity. Search Topix, you'll find numerous postings saying exactly that. I mean, thost two with their criminal histories would know exactly how a police force operates so I assumed they were correct.

Now they'll slink into this thread and reluctantly praise the FPD for this joint pollice work but will also use it as an opportunity to shout from the rooftops that this is only a drop in the bucket. Because, as we all know, the local paper prints EVERY arrest and bust.

Come and get it, Lynch and You Know Who.

Gee Wizz, the FPD actually has a Drug Suppression Unit Unit. Who would have ever guessed it was so? I have been reading police stories on this forum for at least 5 years and it is the first time that I heard mention of it.

I won't dispute the fact that a successful drug bust of a Herion Dealer deserves some praise; but by golly these bust sure seem few and far between considering how many successful drug dealing operations we have in our fine burg.

Keep up the momentum, boys...one down and a thousand to go...

Like a moth to a flame...

For someone who's been reading police stories on this forum for at least 5 years you haven't been paying very much attention.

But please, tell us how there's no Drug Suppression Unit in Fitchburg. Or should the FPD be including you in their tactical and strategic planning sessions?

Now go get your shine box.

I also dislike this article as the person writes "enough money to buy a new car straight from the dealer.? Really? I don't know where you buy your cars but that should be in your next article.

Why is everyone so down on the FPD....we should be thankful they had some success. They need to be thanked NOT criticized.

Small time dealer. Most dealers carry $100K on them all the time.

Again drugs are not limited to Fitchburg it is a Statewide issue. We actually have one of the lowest number of drug related crimes in the State compared to other cities.

Remember the State Police are still in charge of drug related crimes and investigations across he State.

They have found many guns on suspects in the past two months, more guns off the street is ALWAYS a very good thing for everyone. There are many many more guns out there but the past two months has been a very good start as it makes us all safer in Fitchburg.
